  1. We're so happy for you.

We have to apologize for not being so active but you started the January thread, then we replied.

Yikes, we have to admit we felt good about our progress but now in the end you really aren't far behind us.

It all works out I guesss in this "journey.

The only reason why I got so lucky is because the UK just put in a new system where you book online yourself. So instead of having to wait for my interview to be issued 5-6 weeks after my medical, I could book it now which is just under 5 weeks. With out the new system I think I would be interviewing in July.

Hello! I am a bit late to this party I suppose, but we are also January filers. Currently waiting for our case number from NVC before we can go onto the next stage. Feeling a bit lost now I don't have the USCIS website to check for updates every five minutes!

Just wanted to say hi and wish everyone else in the process the best of wishes.

    Mark

Welcome, have you been calling NVC? I would think you'd have your number around Thursday or Friday next week. I got my NOA2 on the 18th and they gave me my number on monday exactly 3 weeks after my NOA2.

    • Do I need another US picture for the interview? I thought they used the one online? I have 3 from when I applied but they might be out of date by then so I can get those easily enough.
    • I have police certificate.
    • I have DS-160 page already, I printed it to take to my medical.
    • Name changes, I have a copy of my old marriage certificate, but my name is back to what is on my passport and birth certificate (I use my maiden name) and my divorce decree so hopefully that will be ok.

I figured I'd bring her information anyway just in case? I thought it might look odd that I have a child and haven't applied for a visa for her. So thought just in case I would take it with me.

Fee and interview confirmation I will definitely get when I have done those bits.

  3. Medical is next week:

    In my folder I have:

    • My passport.
    • 4 UK style photos (they said either was fine).
    • Letter from GP re: health conditions.
    • Vaccination transcript signed and stamped by GP (and a spare one which isn't signed).
    • Police certificate
    • Glasses prescription.
    • Medical questionnaire.
    • Directions to interview.
    • DS-160 form printed out.

    Additionally for interview I have:

    • My daughters passports (US and UK), her birth certificate, born abroad certificate.
    • My birth certificate and passport.
    • The Affidavit and a letter from his work stating position permanent, wages and position.
    • Divorce decree.
    • Paperwork from the court stating I can take my daughter to the US to relocate and to apply for a mirror order.
    • Copy of email sent to CAFFCASS from my ex saying he agrees to the move.

Am I missing anything for either? I think I have it all but I just want to double check. Of course when I get the check list I will check again.

  4. I've checked CEAC this morning and it's in transit!

I fly out to Phoenix this afternoon, having to check in at the airport due to having a visa and wasn't allowed to check in online, I might be off here for a little while but I'll be back soon with a POE review.

I'll no doubt be back for AOS too, good luck to those still carrying on with their journeys!!

I'm so happy for you! Speak soon :D

  5. Are we just able to schedule the interview? embassy told him to wait for them to schedule interview before doing the medical. If we don't m hear from them today I'm gonna have him call. When he went to schedule the interview on the site just to see how far he could go there weren't any available.

It depends on your embassy. I'm in England so it's different.

Mine went In Transit for 2 Days, then Ready (it sat at the Embassy in Transit for a day)

    We can track via DHL

I know it was in AP yesterday because I ended up calling as I had to ask them a question. But it was only completed on monday. I'm hoping it gets there before my medical does. Medical next wednesday so it should be there by the following week. I am just aware appointments are filling up quickly.

  6. Ya. Took 35 days for them to receive my case 3days to approve and 8 to send to consulate. Waiting on the consulate to receive.

It shouldn't take long for them to receive it. I'm really hoping they mail mine by friday... I can't book my interview until it's there and they are filling up fast in June. Last time I was told 22nd June was the earliest date. So unless they send it soon I am looking at July for an interview.

  7. Try it again. Maybe it was gimmicky when it first changed over. I think everybody is still guessing what the key factors are.

I tried it last night and this morning. I think from what I've heard from other people your case just needs to say 'ready' on CEAC to book the interview so I just have to practice a little more patience. I will stop stressing as much (hopefully) once I have a date. My fiance has me checking the CEAC morning and night LOL.
