Your case makes me hopeful! I received my response from USCIS and they have sent the case back to the Embassy in Senegal. Seeing your timeframe from the appeal decision to the issuance is about 4 months, I am gauging myself on that for us to hear something for scheduling (but you never know).

Congratulations again! Now time to live life, something so many people who don't go through this process seriously take for granted.

    Congrats!

Yes. Thank you so much for your kind words.  I  wish you all the best on your journey.

He should report  it to the CBP agent at his port of entry.

Congratulations on this long and tough journey.

    Thank you.

Yeah, don’t worry about the category on the visa, the difference between the date of marriage and date he enters US on that visa matters, which will definitely be more than 2 years. So he will receive a 10 yr GC after entering US.

    Thank you.

I don't know much about this I just wanted to congratulate you on the visa!!  I know you had a rough road.  So happy for you!!

Have him show the marriage certificate at POE if that doesn't work you can rectify it with the help of an attorney.  I'm not sure if adjustment of status after 90 days would do the trick someone else here will probably know more.

Thanks.  We have been married over three years now.  We have met the requirement.

You couldn’t pay me enough money to do a K-1, no way on earth. Keep the faith and it will happen in the end.

The wait is horrible, it causes real physical pain. But I promise you it’s worth it. The moment I walked through the door into the arrivals area at the airport on December 19, 2016 (my POE day) and saw my husband waiting for me...I have no words to describe that feeling.

You are right, whatever pain of separation it is all worth it when your fiance/spouse arrives.  My spouse was just approved after a 3-1/2 year wait. It helps when you can visit each other in between.

The Qantas deals have been very good recently...  we have a USD 1000 return DFW to MEL in August!

Qantas International  is one of the few carriers who still price their return at significantly lower than the one way x  2.. So  book whatever you want.. you can travel on a return and cancel the return leg after arriving...or book the return leg for as late as you can, or around a time you might possibly want to travel back there..  but it will always leave you with a one way leg at some point.😁

As you are using a spouse visa, adjustment of status AOS  isn't neded..

Are there specials on this airline for Senegal?

Please what was the issues they found with your case I mean what was the things you needed to respond to i am in the same boat been waiting to get noir or reaffirmed since April 2017 thank you for reply

    Good day:

The Noir consisted of two issues....one the consulate did not believe that marriage was bona fide and we did not provide a certified copy of an essential document. We were still revoked. Filed Eoir 29 (the appeal) and won.  Case reaffirmed now just waiting for second interview.

We have submitted the documentation to the Notice of Intent to Revoke, any insight on processing timeframes? Nebraska was the processing center all paperwork was mailed to. I went online to USCIS Case Status, and documents show received as of 6/18/18, prior to our deadline.  Are we talking 30/45 days or another 180 days?

    Thanks in advance

We received our response within 30 days from Nebraska Service Center.

  8. Yes. That's correct.  I contacted my US Senator after the 180 days passed. I signed a release allowing the Senator's office to inquire about our case. This started April 2017. I received Noir the week of Thanksgiving 2017 giving us 60 days to reply. Of course I responded quickly but still denied. After receiving revocation notice there was only a 30 day window to appeal. This all happened during the Christmas and New Year Holidays. We got focused and by God's grace we were able to successfully get the denial overturned. Now waiting on embassy to schedule second interview.
