You got your NOIR quick, that's good. If I may ask, what was the the reasons stated on your NOIR....
The Consulate did not believe that my marriage was bona fide. I also want to add that it took 13 months of waiting along with getting my Senator's office involved to reach this point. Hopefully it want be too much longer before they respond.

This morning my husband took his passport to the embassy and they told him to come pick it up on May 9th. I pray this means he is getting a visa. Does anyone know for sure about the Dakar, Senegal Embassy? Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Congratulations! Finally I see a case approved out of Dakar Senegal. My case was returned to uscis-Nebraska. Have responded to noir and now just waiting for a reply. Again congratulations on your approval and may you and your spouse have a blessed life.

Hi everyone. I would have to say definitely the CR1 route. My spouse and I both reviewed each route and it was more important for us to pursue the spouse visa. My husband wanted to have the option to gain employment and the freedom to travel. In all it is definitely worth the sacrifice.

Update...I received Noir from NSC and have already submitted my reply.

Hello:
My spouse case was received by USCIS in October, 2016 (four months after the interview). I was told Consulate returned cases are not considered as priority. It has been over one year and still waiting. I've learned that you have to be patient with the process. If you created an online account once received you can check for updates.

Good day. Yes I have checked my status and it still remains the same. I have requested assistance from my US Senator. As of today it has been 13 months since case returned. I think my next step is to contact ombudsman office.
-
I'm hopeful that it will be over soon. Congratulations on the good news. You now can enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Thanks for your response. My case is unusual. It is now 13 months since my husband's case was returned. No word from USCIS. My Senator was contacted but still the reply is the same.

Good day.
How long was the wait from the time your case was returned till you received the Noir?

Hi Emil J: First off let me start by saying that each one of us may and will have different experiences. I attended an infopass appointment in May 2017. Unfortunately the officer who met with me was not able to provide me with any updates. However it was helpful when I reached out to my Senator and the ombudsman office. My advice would be to exhaust all avenues and keep records of all contacts during this process.

Hello. We have been in AP since June, 2016. So I understand what you're going through.

Good day. It has been almost one year since case returned to USCIS with no response. I have taken all steps from entering a service request, infopass appointment and also involving my US senator office and still nothing. Has anyone else experienced this?

Good day everyone. My case was/is being handled by the NSC. Although we were initially approved within a sufficient time frame, at the time this unit was last in processing petitions. Unfortunately dealing with immigration issues is a waiting game. Just remember that it is all worth it in the long run.

Congratulations! !!. What a testament to your dedication and commitment. You're an inspiration to all of us. Thanks for sharing your story.

Good day:
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but my spouse and I are in a similar situation. It has been 255 days and still no response from USCIS. I am open to suggestions because it's approaching a year since our case was returned.
-
Still no response from USCIS. Still under review. June 16th will be one year anniversary of interview date and placed in AP.
-
Today is officially 180 days from when case was returned from embassy. Still no response from USCIS. I sent a case inquiry and was instructed to wait another 14 days. In a few months it will be one year since my spouse interview. Can someone please provide suggestions on what steps to take from this point. Thanks.
-
Hi everyone. Our case has been in AP since October 24, 2016. I followed up with USCIS and was instructed to call after April 24th z (6 months) if no answer has been received. Just waiting then will get my Senator involved. When dealing with immigration issues you have to develop patience and be willing to persevere. Good luck on your journey.

Hi fellow member:
The previous responses are correct. The immigration process is an emotional waiting game. My spouse and I have been married over two years now and still waiting to be together. Stay on the course and hang in there. It is definitely worth it. The best of luck to you on this journey.

Our case was for spouse visa in Senegal. My husband's visa was not approved. We have been in AP since June, 2016. Case was returned to USCIS in October, 2016. I visited for one month in November, 2016. Now just waiting for response.

Hello: From personal experience definitely more face time with your spouse is needed as well as documentation to prove the validity of the relationship. My husband and I were denied the first time. Now waiting for response to provide more evidence. This is a tough embassy. Just believe and have faith. Eventually it will all work out.
-
No. We have not received anything from USCIS. This is month four now. I was told by USCIS that it could take up to six months minimum before hearing back. My husband and I keep encouraging each other by saying often that each day that passes brings us one step closer. That's what keeps me going.

Hello.
Just wanted to know if anyone on this thread can give insight into review process? I responded to Noir and receive email update that it was received and being processed.
