Texas service center here. Requested service for document not received a couple of weeks ago online. I submitted my ROC November 1 of last year and hadn’t heard a peep since, not even for a biometrics appointment. Today I got an appointment date for biometrics!! YES!! The end is in sight!! FINALLY!!!!!!

there is a forum topic I am in that is for people that sent there info to the Texas Service Center and most of us got our Bios close to the end on October, if you haven't gotten yours yet then I recommend calling in or sent out an email about it.
Thanks! I completed the online request to look in to it just now. Thank you for the advice.

Any Texas service center filers still haven’t even received a biometrics appointment? I’ve heard absolutely nothing since receiving my extension letter earlier this year. My case has been stuck at “fingerprint fee received” since a year ago. 😩

Texas service center here. And no biometrics notice either. I filed beginning of November 2018 and received my NOA January. Trying not to panic. As usual. Lol

That's quick. Where did you file? Has anyone had to do Biometrics from this group yet?
Texas Service Center here. And no word yet on Biometrics... Filed beginning of November, extension letter received beginning of January.

Depends where your case got routed. If you're in Vermont, you probably should have already received it. If you're in California, filers from last March and April are just now starting to get their biometrics appointments/waivers.
Do you know about those filers routed to Texas? I’ve been on the phone this morning trying to reach a human being to ask them if they should’ve sent my biometrics appointment already, but they seem to have changed their system to make it impossible. It’s been 60 days since I received my NOA.

Biometrics would not be reflected in case status though. I didn’t get NOA1 but I got my biometrics and did the appointment but my case status still says “case received, we mailed you NOA1”
That’s what I’m afraid of. My case status doesn’t even reflect that my NOA was mailed, it just tells me they accepted my biometrics fee.

Hi all,
Filled: Nov. 15
NOA hard copy received: Dec. 14
Center: LIN
I did not receive a notice for Biometrics appointment yet. Is it normal?
I am curious about this as well. Finally received my NOA hard copy after 60 days waiting, but I have yet to receive anything regarding a biometrics appointment. I have read others receiving their appointment even before receiving their NOA! Since everything seems to be so backed up (and so many people being told notices were mailed when indeed nothing had been mailed at all), I wonder if I should start harassing them about it.
Anyone else in the same boat??

Why not? It's my case, my future. Just because I use lawyer doesn't mean I should just sit back and relax. Especially last week was a long holiday.
You’re doing the right thing. Always follow up what your lawyer does and try to be proactive. Had I not been on top of my case I would’ve missed my K1 visa appointment cuz my lawyer dropped the ball.

how long does they take to reply or send us extension letter i am November filer and now thinking of sending e request i dont know would it help
It has not helped much in my case, but if it’s been more than 30 days since your last contact with them or since you expected to hear from them then it can’t hurt to reach out to them. Good luck!

Mine was received Nov. 15th, check cashed Nov. 23rd. Expecting notice by new year.. 5-6 weeks seems to be timeline for this group.
Idk. I’m on week 7 and two phone calls to USCIS and still nothing. I’m waiting til a further 30 days from my last phone call comes up to call yet again mid January if I still haven’t received anything.

I797 NOA received today in the mail, two weeks from when check was cashed basically. Found out we’re at the Vermont a service Center. I haven’t checked the case status online yet as we only now just got the case number with the I797 being mailed. We didn’t submit the G1145, so we’ve been waiting patiently and not calling.
WOW! I’ve been waiting for about 42 days since they cashed my check!!

Finally some news!!! I called (AGAIN) today cuz after filing November 1st and calling for a service request for non delivery on December 3rd I STILL have not received anything... (And also the rep who answered the first call couldn’t give me a receipt number, so I’ve just been in the dark this whole time. So I was also unable to request info regarding non delivery online cuz it won’t open a service request without a receipt number.)
Well this time I called and got a receipt number! Yay! SRC— Texas Service Center!
Aaaaaand now I wait. Again. Lol.

Got I-797 today! Pretty excited and relieved. My story. I sent my packet on Oct 29,2018 and they received it on 01 Nov, 2018. Did e-request on 03 Dec for non-delivery of I-797 and they replied to my email on 10 Dec that they will resent it to me and today I received I-797 in the mail so I am done for next 18 months.
Good Luck to everyone!
Do you suggest I email them instead of calling? My timeline is pretty much identical to yours. My package was received November 1st and I called on December 3rd for non delivery also. Since then tho I have not received any email nor any notice in the mail. I was considering calling again tomorrow... or should I continue to sit tight??

I took a peek at your timeline. Did you file in October? Trying to get an idea as to when mine will arrive. I filed November 1st. Check cashed about a week later.

Did anyone send their i751 package to Texas service Centre Dallas P.O. Box how long does they take to send you 18 months extension letter once check got cashed did anyone receive 18 months extension letter?
My package was received November 1st and check cashed about a week later. Today, December 9th and I have yet to hear anything from USCIS. It seems all of us November filers are in the same boat. I hear that the soonest we can expect any notice from them is 5 weeks from when your payment was processed. Best of luck!

mine finished on 11/18/18 and sadly did not receive it,
I spoke to some people who did the ROC earlier months and some only took 2 weeks the most so I aint sure why us November filers are taking the longest to get them.
lets hope to hear some good news soon.
Thank you! I called USCIS this morning. The rep who answered said she couldn’t supply me with a receipt number but she did create a service request on my behalf. She said I should hear some kind of update in a few days, so I will keep everyone posted. But she did reassure me that my status was okay and I didn’t have anything to worry about. Should I need to travel I could obtain a stamp from my local office for my passport, but I have no plans for travel so I’ll just sit tight until I hear some good news. Neither do I have an employer to worry about so my sympathies to those who do. This is quite the wait. And this is just for the extension letter!!
