I-485/EAD/AP all sent out on April 27th 

I had my biometrics today, and I learned something... 
 
I had my passport for ID (of course, it has my maiden name), and all my paperwork includes my married name now so if you are also applying with your married name and have no other identification with your married name, take you marriage certificate to verify that you have some registered information. 
 
USCIS said they registered both last names but my paperwork will be registered with my maiden name. 
 
I was hoping to avoid that.

Fingerprint Review Was Completed but only on https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/mycasestatus.do

on https://my.uscis.gov/account/applicant which is supposed to be more accurate, it's still

And nice one about early biometrics walk-in!

This is a good idea. An additional suggestion, try to create a google sheet. Let me know if you need help of setting it up

usually the biometric appt is 2-3 weeks from receipt of mail. took me 8 days between noa1 and biometric mail to show up in mailbox, so give it til mon or tues maybe.

When I was least expecting it. Ugh is right lol. 

I received mine with the NOA1 hard copies. The bio appointment letter is likely to come in the next couple of days.

April 20,2018 checks were cashed 
April 22,2018 emails/text messages

ahhh so excited, is it just me or does it seem like they are moving quick? 

I think it was only taken less than 7 minutes. I walked into the Application Center office, I saw only 4 people was waiting in line. The staff checked my appointment letter and passport. And then she gave me the form to filled up. After that I return the form and waiting in line. After a minute of waiting, I came into separate open room. They take my picture and fingerprints.

Wow, a few hours after I posted this, I got two texts at MIDNIGHT from USCIS saying they received our case. Ugh. I'll never understand how USCIS works. At least we're in the process now. Good luck to everyone!

on a curious note, USPS says they delivered the packet on the 19th, yet USCIS' website says "On April 18, 2018, we received your Form ..."

April 22nd we received emails and text messages with receipt #

Filed for our AOS today. Hopefully everything will go smoothly on our end. Hope everyone else's AOS will go smoothly too!
