A Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post employee is charged with possession of child pornography. The FBI took 48-year-old Thomas LeGro into custody Thursday after searching his home on Alton Place in Northwest D.C. Agents seized a laptop computer containing 11 videos depicting child pornography, the FBI said. The laptop belongs to LeGro, according to a federal criminal complaint. When agents entered the house, they saw what appeared to be fractured pieces of a hard drive in a basement hallway and the empty cover of a hard drive in a basement office, according to the criminal complaint. having been there and done that: - the other person has goals that do not match with yours (i.e. you want kids, they do not). i suspect there are other life goals that do not match up with each other. - he/she is verbally abusive - he/she has a temper issue - he/she makes you jump through hoops in order to please him/her - that his mother showed zero empathy means the apple didn't fall far from the tree with her son. - i have to wonder just how much truth was told to you about his criminal history you have dodged a huge bullet with that person. there is nothing worth salvaging here. yes, it hurts now, but imagine the torment you would have gone through with this person had you come to the states only to be left high and dry with his antics.

A former Coast Guard lieutenant and sharpshooter has been arrested for allegedly making threats to kill President Trump. A 19-page Federal Bureau of Investigation affidavit lists out scores of alleged social media threats by Peter Stinson, who served 33 years in the U.S. Coast Guard through 2021, and also served as a Federal Emergency Management Agency instructor. The social media posts quoted in charging documents, which span from 2020 to 2025, include online statements that suggested using a gun, a knife and poison against Mr. Trump. In several cases, Stinson allegedly said he didn't have the skills to kill Mr. Trump himself, but said he's willing to "serve in a support capacity" or raise money for a "contract hit."
