my situation is about the same but I know both sets of parents will stay where they are!
My MIL lives with BIL and his family in Virginia, my FIL lives in Alabama, and my Mom and step-dad live in BC.

I think they have until March 1 to send out the year's tax info? I wouldn't freak out just yet.

Just an update.
Interview Jan 28. Issued on the 29th. Waybill on Feb 2. I expect it should be delivered any day now. Looks like I might be able to POE this week. Pretty much 6 months since I first sent in the I-130. I'm super lucky but have everyone at VJ to thank for giving me so much info so I didn't make any mistakes, thus giving me the fastest possible time.

It may still be cheaper for bloopygirl to pay for medical services in Canada than in the US, even if she's paying non-resident rates.
You don't have to get services under BC Med here, for example; they have rates for non-residents.

I had the same experience in Toronto. After being sent to secondary almost every time I had gone down to visit my fiance I was pushed through with no issues at all. I did the same thing and arrived almost 4 hours early only to be waiting around. Let me tell you how good those beers tasted waiting for my flight.

I got the notification that my package is ready to be picked up!! Unfortunately the post office is only open Monday to Friday! But I'm going first thing Monday morning! Woohoo!!

My visa is issued, I have a tracking number and the shipping tells me that it's already been picked up in Montreal! The expected delivery date is tomorrow!

Visa was approved! I wanted to post a review but for some reason its telling me I ned to register first, which I already am. Maybe its because Im on a mac. I dont use macs and cant even find the damn apostrophe.
Anyway it went very smoothly. My job history didnt even come up. He was very nice and I was done in about five minutes. Current wait is 2 weeks to receive the visa. Thanks everyone!! Ill post again when I receive it

Joining the Curling league is definitely helping. It is getting me out of the house and I'm meeting people. A few Canadians in my league too.

Its about time!!! I checked all day, still on "Ready" later at 4pm I got updated...How soon should my visa would be officially printed..? I am so overjoyed that I forgot how long I have waited for this moment to come...

I got ceac updated today January 20 - From Refused to Ready!!
Now, what is the game plan? I have seen a case with "Ready" been stuck on June 2015 , what is that mean?

Nope, not a problem. I moved my husband's stuff on a trip a month before he came. I packed as much as I could in luggage/trunks, and we cleaned up his apartment, moved furniture to his parent's and brother's home, and he stayed with them for one month. When he came he still had two big pieces of luggage, but his other belongings were here.

OP said in the first post that he was "arrested on the spot" so...

My interviewer was really focused on my police check and thought I should have had two other last names (that I never used but were prior spouses) included. On the Toronto police check form there were options for previous names used. I'd suggest sending what you have but getting a new one before the interview.

I checked today and the update date has change to today. It still shows "Issued" but now I see:
"Your visa is in final processing. If you have not received it in more than five (5) working days, please go to http://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/us_courrier_information to track your courier waybill."
Hopefully that is a good sign!

Called USCIS today and I was able to speak with a tier 2 rep. My case was shipped from Potomac to NVC Jan 8th. NVC has not received it yet but I feel more at ease knowing that it was shipped.
