I just called and cancelled the infopass appointment. I was told that not getting the stamp won’t make me illegal, and that the stamp is usually for purposes of traveling or showing to my employer of my legal status.
still, if i don’t get a date for my ceremony soon, I will probably get the stamp on August, just in case.

It went really well. Interview was  today at 10am we got there at 9:20am and was called by 9:55am, the best officer ever. I asked if my husband needed to come with me and she said Yes, as you have i751 pending so I told her my two babies were there with us cuz we didn't have anybody to care for them and she said oh don't worry it is totally fine. We got in her office, sworn in and she said let's start with  i751 asked for IDs and resident card, then reviewed the application where I needed to provide the answers and then said well you have two (2) kids there is nothing else I need to ask lol, I thanked her and she said let's move to N400 and we will start with the question right away. Asked me if I minded my family in the room with me while n400 interview was in progress and I said not a all, I would appreciate if they can stay with me so she conducted the interview with my husband and kids in there.

    Questions:
1- what month do we vote for president?
2- what ocean is in the east coast?
3- who is your state governor?
4-what are to major political party in the U.S?
    5-what did Abraham Lincoln do?
    6-When was the Constitution written?

    Then asked me to read:

When do we vote for president?
And told me to write we vote for President in November.

She didn't asked for any additional documents except my son's birth certificate cuz he wasn't included in the application as he wasn't born when we filed.

She gave me a paper to confirm all of my information were correct, and made me sign in the ipad twice. She then approved both cases and scheduled me for oath ceremony. They gave me the oath ceremony letter and it will be Friday 12th at 1:35pm so this Friday is a big day for me.

USCIS sites was updated right away to Your card is being produced and we emailed you oath ceremony.

Yes this is very much normal. What would happen is that the IO will have your I-751 interview first, once satisfied they would move to your N-400 interview. I-751 needs to be approved first so that N-400 can be processed. I would suggest taking all the documents needed to satisfy I-751 and also prepare yourself for the English and Civics test for N-400. All the best. :)

Most likely they would go over the requested evidence and then approve if it fulfills their criteria. I think most of the folks here who got RFE were approved without interview after they provided more evidence.

    Hopefully this answers your query.

Just to fill you guys in....

Had my info pass on the 6/19/2018. I did request an info pass cause my ROC extension will expire on August 11 2018. I was opportuned to speak with the same man at the window as I did 2years ago, yeah... he remembered me.

He showed me the processing time for California filers (same processing time as online) and underneath the processing time he wrote “WOW”... I found that to be funny and we both laughed about it.

I told him I got a notification that my application was sent to my local office in February. He took all my NOA receipts numbers including the number on my finger print notice page to check in his system. He said your application is not here and that if they send it here it will only be for interview scheduling purpose. He said I should disregard the message as he doesn’t see my application been sent here and it shows it is still in California.

He placed the stamp on my passport for a year extension and he said you will get your approval before then.

    I am VSC 17238 filer.

I called USCIS twice today as I was getting curious/anxious as to resolution.

Spoke first to a tier 1 officer - nice guy but basically got the same status update as the app.

Requested a return call from a tier 2 officer. After some time, she said good news, your case was last touched May 30th, so I’m guessing it’s on a case officers desk. FYI The app status says my case transferred to local office April 9th.

I was then told that should have adjudication soon but they have up to 120 days to complete it.

    Fingers crossed it’s soon 🙏

    Hello Everyone,

I just saw this on USCIS webpage. Seems like they are extending the 12 months I-797 notices to 18 months due to current processing times. So everyone whose I-751 or I-829 is pending as of June 11, 2018 would be getting new notices with extended dates.

    Congratulations! Best Wishes.

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services <uscis@public.govdelivery.com>       Jun 12 at 12:03 PM   As of June 11, 2018, petitioners who file Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, or Form I-829, Petition by Entrepreneur to Remove Conditions on Permanent Resident Status, will receive a Form I-797 receipt notice that can be presented with their Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card, as evidence of continued status for 18 months past the expiration date on their Permanent Resident Card.

We are making the change from 12 to 18 months because current processing times for Form I-751 and Form I-829 have increased over the past year.

Additionally, we will issue new Form I-797 receipt notices to eligible conditional permanent residents whose Form I-751 or I-829 was still pending as of June 11, 2018. Those Form I-797 receipt notices will also serve as evidence of continued status for 18 months past the expiration date on petitioner’s Permanent Resident Card.

As a reminder, conditional permanent residents who plan to be outside of the United States for a year or more should apply for a reentry permit by filing Form I-131, Application for Travel Document, before leaving the country. Read more information on our Green Card webpage.

Hello everyone, I just got my approval today and the status was updated to New Card Is Being Produced.
I received Request For Evidence on May 6, and resubmit the package on Jun 2. Exactly 10 days, i got my case approved. I wouldn't expect they could handle that fast!
