  1. Hi guys. A pleasant surprise regarding my passport application status which I would like to let you know through my timeline update:

    Service Requested: Routine service.

passport application date: 25th June, 2021.

Application In process date: 21st July, 2021.

Passport shipped date: 18th August, 2021.

and on top of that, they sent it through Expedited Priority mail which I never paid for. Things are moving quite faster, if you have requested routine service which in my case is true. Good-luck guys…

@mushroomspore thank you ☺️ well I divorced so that’s why I need more supporting evidences like affidavits. I did sent him everything from the beginning but even tho it’s a lot of documents 4 months of waiting is a way too long.... is not really hard for a native speaker to correct simple testimonials lol. My friend had a very complicated case and her lawyer did not take long at all. Too bad she’s from Florida otherwise I would have hired her instead 😞

Hi. I applied with divorce waiver and my case was approved without interview. I prepared all the case file by myself. I don’t think that you need an attorney as attorney cannot alter what evidence you have. Just for your information: I sent no pictures and no affidavits but sent a lot of primary evidence. Goodluck to you...

    Hi,

    5/2013- Applied for AOS

6/2013- Called in for interview and approved on spot after few questions by IO.

    5/2015- Filed for ROC (w/waiver)

    7/2017- Call in for Interview

7/27/2017- Interview at local immigration office.

Interview lasted for an hour and after the interview IO informed that she needs to review the file further and will inform by mail on the decision.

There were a lot of questions asked, how did i meet my wife, how was the relationship with my in laws, where did we go for honeymoon, why didn't the marriage work out for us and many more. IO wanted all the details about out married life and also where was I working currently.

Since the decision is still pending, does anyone know what does it mean when the decision is not given on spot after the interview. I know it's perfect when IO informs that the case is appeoved but if the decision is not given and the IO wants to review file further more, is it really bad or chances are 50/50?

    Thanks

    Raza12

They gave me the option of changing to divorce waiver or keep it the same as joint filling and provide rfe. But the rfe was about current finanaces, insurance, etc. But we have separated and have no rfe apart from the once I provided them.

sorry to hear about your denial... the question is that what evidence you provided them at the initial submission of i-751, you may be deied due to lack of evidence and then not responding to RFE.....
