If I was them I would stick with the people who hand out the money.

You are aware that with the scrubbers that are attached to so called smoke stacks all that comes out if them is water vapor right? Didn't think so.

He would still be senile. And not much better than Hillary.

jg121783 got a reaction from Dashinka in Daily Beast Hails 'Poetic Justice' of 'Climate Denier' Homes Wrecked by Hurricane Irma
There was no suggestion that it would be poetic justice if so called climate deniers had their property destroyed? I don't know what article your reading but it is not the one that is being discussed in this thread.

Suggesting that anyone deserved a catastrophic hurricane, weather all , some or a few is reprehensible and and beyond my contempent. You trying to defend it by saying they did not mean all Floridians, puts you squarely in their classification.

jg121783 reacted to Dashinka in Make no mistake about it: the alt-right is a cult, and this is how its members lure people in
Ok, so extreme Left. Are you saying there are no extreme left wing groups that worship Marx?

There is an alt left just like there is an alt right. The only difference is the main line right disavows the alt right but the main line left tends to defend the alt left until it's politically expedient to distance themselves from them. Take antifa for example. The main line left for the most part defended them until it became widely known they are a violent hate group.

It is an opinion piece by someone with a particular political ideology. The same could be said of the alt-left and their devotion to Karl Marx, or any other socialist leader.
Regardless, it is just political commentary the likes of which can come from either side.

jg121783 got a reaction from Boiler in DACA Fraud Rate at '40 to 50 Percent', Says Former Immigration Official
This isn't just "some person". This is the former head of the USCIS investigative unit. What he has to say about this holds a little more credibility than some random USCIS employee. He was in charge of investigating fraud so if anyone would know about this it would be him.

This is just like "it depends on what the meaning of the word "is" is".

You can play all the word games you want but the bottom line is they said it would be "poetic justice" if these people's homes were hit.

I'm sure he reported it to his superiors who reported it to their superiors (the Obama White House) who failed to take action. That is probably why he is coming forward with this information now.

jg121783 got a reaction from Boiler in Trump administration struggles with fate of 900 DREAMers serving in the military
It's real simple. Obama put DACA in place illegally without Congress and Trump simply rescinded the illegal executive order. Now it is up to Congress to decide what to do. The legislative branch is responsible for legislating. Not the executive branch. I know some of you have a hard time grasping basic civics.

Too bad the president controls the State Department and how their funds are utilized.

jg121783 got a reaction from TBoneTX in Rush Limbaugh Claims Hurricane Irma Is Part Of A Vast Conspiracy
He is certainly correct about the global warming fear mongering every time there is a storm. As far as the severity of the hurricane being hyped everything I have seen suggests it's going to be a bad one.

jg121783 reacted to Dashinka in Rush Limbaugh Claims Hurricane Irma Is Part Of A Vast Conspiracy
So what did he say that was actually wrong? We have had threads here about trying to tie Global Warming to hurricanes, so that is right. Certainly as soon as the media starts touting the storms path the stores get mobbed, right on number 2. We also see these natural disasters being used for political gains no matter how bad that looks, remember all the money for Alaska fisheries tied to funding for Sandy, right on that one as well. I didn't read or hear him actually label it a conspiracy, but I guess that is artistic license by the writer of the MDL HuffPo piece
