Hi all!

Well I made it! I became a U.S. citizen today in Los Angeles and feel a huge relief! I have my naturalization certificate in hand and the officers were rushing to get them out to the 3000 + people. They gave us our certificates and said review them, let them know if there were any errors and to sign them when we got home. I didn't even think to ask how it is we are supposed to sign these. Do we sign them as we would sign any other document? My signature is my first and second initial and then my last name. Would this suffice or do I need to write out my full name as it appears on the certificate. Thanks so much!

Just received approval on I-751!
 
i had my interview for N400 last week, was sent an RFE immediately following my interview for N400 which I still don’t know if it is correct or not but I plan on sending the requested info tomorrow. But I-751 was transferred to the local office a day after interview and approved today. Thank god that part is done. Now to wait on N400.

You were right!! “Oath Ceremony will be Scheduled” notification just came through. What a relief! Now I have to wait for the date... I hope they give me a date quickly. 

An update for you all, I sent my RFE yesterday for the N400 (though I’m convinced this was still an error and didn’t receive the RFE letter by mail, just online only) and today I received approval on my I-751. No news on N400 yet but I’m hoping with the I-751 approved, they go ahead and take care of the citizenship. We will see! Any idea how long it takes after the I-751 approval to see movement on the N400? I had my interview 8 days ago. Thanks all! 

Fingers crossed! I’m hoping to hear something next week but I’ll still send off my evidence that they have requested, regardless of how much I’ve already submitted. Hopefully the officer will get around to reviewing it quickly as he sounded like he wanted to be efficient at least. I’ll follow up with them 2 weeks after it is received. Thanks for your input, I’ll keep you updated.

I received notification of interview Friday! I am pending i-751 and had the email to say my interview was scheduled. I can't yet view the letter through my online account. Does anyone know how they schedule interview dates and what date I can expect? I ask this question as I am traveling on October 31st-November 5 on vacation and I am scared that they will schedule for one of those days.

I received notice today that I have been scheduled for an interview, one day after being transferred from Los Angeles field office to San Bernardino. I can't view my interview notice yet and DHS website still has "We transferred your case" but USCIS case checker is telling me "interview scheduled". Now to properly study and wait for that notice! 

I moved to a new address which is in San Bernardino County so had to update my address on all of my applications. It should now be dealt with by San Bernardino Office which is a good thing! But we will see how long it takes. I won't hold my breath!

I filed the same day you did at CSC. Was your case transferred at all since you filed N400? Did they approve your N400 or just I-751? I’m anxious because I’m hoping for an approval very soon but afraid they are going to delay my case because I filed N400 and end up combining it for interview at my local office that is very backlogged right now. If you don’t mind sharing your time line that would be awesome!

Had my biometrics appointment this morning. All went smoothly! Now the waiting game begins. My attorney told me that it could be atleast 10 months from now before hearing anything.
