I actually mentioned that to the officer yesterday, and she said that if it's an official government mail, they don't forward it to the new address. 
 
Idk, i hope it does go to the new address, or current address

So, I got my ead approval yesterday.. its not all good news though..
 
I called today to make sure my address was up to datr since I moved in August  did ar11 and called uscis 3 times since I moved to make sure address was current. Today, the rep told me that none of those went through and I might get the ead in my old address because I just technically changed my address today..
 
I do hope though that it won't be the case..
 
So anyone that will be moving  make sure to call them until the address is actually changed, don't trust what the reps say when they say it went through  make sure to call the next day to verify the change..
 
Mine is up to usps if they'll send it to my new address or they'll send to my old one..
this is a bummer when I hot so excited yesterday.

We had an rfe as well, pd may 11, no ead yet. 
 
Hopefully soon, I've seen some ead approval after my pd, so i think it might have affected it somehow?

Got approval of I765 on 14 September.
AOS documents were filed on 14 May.

I have read lots of positive stories.. they do go through secondary but when my hubs get it, he'll use it. He needs to go with me to mexico so i can personally meet his kids..lol

Don't get me wrong... Im not mad at any later filers or filers...my disappointment is towards USCIS... Im very happy at all filers! specially at ones that already got a response.

I really hope i hear from them soon.. i am ready to wait for the GC since I know Houston FO is one of the slowest FO, but I really need the ead/ap.. 
 
My PD is before you so I kinda feel loke I was skipped but Im definitely not angry at you. Just can't help the feeling, you know?

Nope. I have seen some AOS May 2018 filers got approved their EAD/AP though.

You cant update them together because the petitioner filed the I-130 and the beneficiary filed the I-485 etc...  However you still can update the I-485, 765 and 131 simultaneously. The I-130 needs to be done separately.  

You will have to check. The marriage license you can get a few months in advance, they are valid for like 90 days. The marriage certificate is the proof you got married, and that is what you send with AOS. Here in Vegas the certificate is available 24 hours after submitting the signed off license, even same day sometimes, but you can pick up a certified copy the next day. 
 
Depending on who marries you, they usually have 10 days to turn in the signed license or they can get in trouble. Most of them will turn it in to the county clerk the next day, or you can ask them to. The other option is if they will let you take it to be recorded at the clerk's office. Some will, some won't. Doesn't matter how it gets down there, but you should be able to pull it off in 5 days or less if you are willing to physically pick up the certificate of marriage. Call and ask the clerk at the wedding license bureau, they will know. If you do a courthouse ceremony it is really a quick turnaround because you are all right there in the courthouse already, and it gets recorded same day usually.
 
Then next day air the AOS to USCIS, and your good.
