No you re not . i used to call them everyday , the button line they have no access to effect your application . they only have the read only access to your application

Please people advice . the attached file info is what i got on my interview letter . as far as i can tell here , NVC did not mention anything about the new form i864. according to this letter i dont need anything but the original copy of the below docs

Before interview my ceac status updated today and says ready (well it was ready since few weeks) and now as of today they added 01 NWD at the end of my case no .. What does that means ???

Interview is tomorrow and I am freaking out

I have the same thing on mine . NWD is the code of your consulate at new delhi . nothing to worry about

My wife had her interview in Stockholm this morning! Approved!!

Finally, after more than 3 years of processing and waiting since we got married, we are now able to live together! (We started in the F2A category, but changed to IR1 when I got naturalized this June).

We are SOOO happy right now!!!

Thank you to VJ and all members that have helped us through this journey. We have gotten so much help and support from this community.

My wife will write a review of her interview experience later, but she said it was pretty smooth and no unexpected questions.

On the topic of resumes, the embassy did not request any documentation related to her education or work, and during her interview she was only asked what she is currently working with, and what she is planning to do when she gets to the US.

I've just had my interview in London. We got approved ? just want to thank everyone on here that's gave me advice through the process. I really appreciate it. All those still waiting keep with it! It will all be over soon the interview was the easiest part.

I was reviewing my DS-260 form to get ready for my wife' interview next month , but i found a typo error in my wife last name when i typed in Arabic language

do i have to let the Officer know about it at the interview . How bad can affect my wife's interview .

Come on not depressing they haven't started. Trust me on that. I would have most def heard about Lagos. Nigeria is usually always day 3 or 4 of scheduling.

Amazing as I try and clean up and update the spreadsheet the same countries over and over just have been ignored since May and June.

Jordan, Algeria, Sudan Egypt, Ethiopia Armenia, Algeria

Cambodia Vietnam, India, Ghana, Nigeria, Mexico

Since July it has been a little here and there. Trying to make sure he folks on list have accounts still or I am deleting. Many on list aren't around or probably changed their name. So alot of deletions

But notice the first group. Like WOW. I have herd that the refuge crisis has forced cases around and Algeria is now taking on cases fro a closed Yemen, Sudan.

And Jordan and Egypt have been taking on these cases from Yemen and Sudan but now cases are being transferred.

Dwheels . Any news about morocco ? are they taking the refuges cases as well ?

I called the NVC last week and they told me that they are waiting on interview dates from Casablanca. The CSR said she was not sure how long it would be before we got a date. Have you called NVC and got the same response?

Here re some Moroccan people i thought that im the only one struggling with the NVC. Anyway embassy already sent the Available spots for October however NVC has not started scheduling for morocco yet . you can do like me and contact your senator for more help sometimes it worth it .

are we dealing with the third world country ? what the heck is going on with NVC , come one america you re better than this . No interviews as of now , i have contacted my embassy and i was told they already sent the available spot for October . its just tooooo much to handle

I just want to say I hate the NVC right now. Just on hold with them for 53 minutes when they disconnected my call.

Dont hate . just dislike them strongly :) . hope you get your interview soooooon

Next time you call the NVC ask to speak to a supervisor, I can tell you from experience that after speaking to a supervisor , you will get a response and some clarity in 5 days .

I dont know how busy you re in your life but next time try to call NVC as many time as you can ( i used to call the everyday once i submitted my DS260 ) , two ask to speak with the sup next time , believe me it helps a lot ( i got mine reviewed at the same day i talked with the sup )

CC 8/05 no interview as of now , priority was given to student/tourist/business category so hopefully we get something for October

They've been telling us that for weeks now too. First the excuse was that the supervisor had 45 days to complete the review. Once the 45 days were up, they kept telling us it should be any day now or some lame reason why it wasn't 45 days yet. Thinking we probably have the same lazy, incompetent supervisor reviewing our cases... We're gonna involve our Senator and also make a formal complaint against the supervisor. However that is made?!

Just called the NVC , they re done with Spet for all countries ( based on what the agent told me ) and now they re doing the October.

at this point im going to start looking to buy a ticket for me so i can visit my wife . this process is totally a mess

So we understand better the people working at NVC and how they work, here are some quotes from one of those websites where employees (verified or not?) can send reviews about their workplace:

- "I worked there for 3 years and it was the most depressing time of my life..."

- "...The 'NVC' is a one story warehouse with a few offices around the inner circle of the building. The outer perimeter is where the downtrodden staff and low level supervisors nest. Most of this dank warehouse houses a factory filled with dirty crates of endless applications from all over the world from desperate people who want to come to America..."

- "This place will make you hate yourself. It is miserable. You are a robot. You are NOT ALLOWED under any circumstances to speak to other employees...."

Same here . just called the NVC , still no interviews been scheduled as of now but they still working on it

Guys, according to USPS tracking - NVC received our AOS & IV at august 13th, last thursday....i called NVC today at opening, rep. said that they didn`t received anything....what to do? Thanks.

nothing to worry about , its not scanned yet , its not in the system , meant its still in the receiving area but it has not been recorded yet.
