Glad everybody else is getting approved. I officially gave up hope after the email a couple of us got on Wednesday. I’m too frustrated.

Both the new green card and approval letter arrived in the mail today. Literally 40 hours after we got that mobile notification that the card was mailed.
  3. Thanks

@goodsoohe5919 a number of people including myself only got notified on the tracker app of card being mailed.  I'd honestly still expect it to come within a week or so like others have.

@Sean and Kristina and others today, congrats on approvals and cards mailed.

@starsky i haven't heard of this status update before, sounds very odd.  Is it possible it got sent to your local office for an interview?  I have heard from our USCIS officer in 2016 when we did our AOS interview that maybe 5% of I-751 cases go to interview.  The fact they are making you wait for the letter for more info makes me kind of think that way.  Just an opinion, either that or RFE.  Both bad thoughts but at least they did something.  I hope it is something easy to get going and get it approved quickly.

Got our notice 2/15, card came in today 2/22.  Never got tracking number and it didn't show up in the informed delivery from USPS.  We have just been checking every day in case it came, and it popped up just now.  So about 4-5 business day turnaround which is pretty good from USCIS.

Our status on 01/31/2019 was updated to "New Card Was Mailed to Me" but we haven't gotten anything in the mail, so we just did the e-service request they advise to do when checking your status. Anyone else have this experience?

USCIS  mailed my card Feb 15 and we’ve been expecting the card to arrive since Tuesday, yay. Today is the first time we didn’t go to the mailbox as there’s no USCIS mail that appeared in the USPS informed delivery.  Saw your post and read it to my husband. He got out right away and took the mails. He came back and he has a BIG smile!  I’m very happy my I-751 process is over.

I wish everybody here the same luck too!

Got our approval letter in the mail today, got the online approval notice yesterday.  Letter says not to travel outside the country without the card and the card can take up to 60 days to receive.  Our trip is in less than 3 weeks.  The letter says to get a passport stamp if we have to go out of country before getting the new card.  What's the average wait time from notice to getting the card in hand?  Should we get an infopass appt if we don't get the card like a week before our trip?

Also I have USPS mail notice which shows the pics of what is coming in the mail today, the letter was not in the email the post office sent out today.  They've been slipping on that lately too.

So on the Case Tracker app got notice today that:

On February 15, 2019, we mailed your new card for your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC18104XXXXX, to the address you gave us.  If you do not receive your new card by March 2, 2019, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request that we send your new card to you.  If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I checked on the egov.uscis.gov website to confirm and that confirms it as well with the same information.  I also went to my.uscis.gov where we have an account, but that one hasn't been updated since we initially sent our case in Feb 2018.  I've been following several numbers before and after ours via the app and every number before us has had updates by now, and everyone after us is still waiting on updates.  So they must separate the numbers into sub categories somehow to follow up on it chronologically based on case type.

We are going out of the country in 3 weeks so this is amazing news and timing for us and we are super excited.  I expect the card will come in next week.  Filed at CSC if it helps.

One other thing, I got a notice from the Case Tracker app that there was a system wide maintenance last night on Valentine's Day between 9pm and midnight so tracking wasn't available at that time, maybe they are righting the wrongs in the system right now.

Damn,  just got an update stating that a RFE is on way dated 2/9/2019, unbelievable, I sent in so much evidence, can't believe they want more! This is the first RFE I have got since starting the whole K1 visa process!

Please be aware everyone that the current version the N400 expires on 3/31/2019.  So if you are waiting to turn it in or pre-filling it out in advance, just be aware the new version will be needed after march 31.

Helps make sense why I hear about some people here and in other threads getting proper 18 month notices now.  Hope to get ours soon as well.

So I called embassy on Monday in DC when I couldn't get through to my more local consulate.  They said it would be okay to use the extension letter with the expired green card.  Also since it could be considered a transit visa since Korea is only the first stop on our journey, we might not even need a visa at all.  I'm looking more into it to be sure, but even if we have to pay for the visa I don't mind.  I called the local consulate again and they answered and stated the same thing the DC agent stated, that it's okay to use the extension letter.  They even directed me to the website for the application and gave instructions how far in advance to submit it with our evidences of future travels out of Korea (which has been common for us in other Asian countries as well).  I don't think we will have to go for an interview as it's at least a two hour drive to the consulate, but if so I know we would do it.  We will be submitting proof up the ying yang cause this trip is something we have wanted for a long time.

So things are looking good there.

Side note @starsky when going over our 18 month extension letter, it was not the actual extension letter.  It was the gray version that said the 18 month extension letter is coming eventually.  I'm sure I confused this along with others recently.  Thankfully our trip can use the 12 month letter and still be in the safe zone if the 18 month letter doesn't come in time for it.  We might go get an I-551 stamp in the passport when it gets closer to our leaving date to have that added proof there for our travels.

It will probably take a while for the 18-month extension to trickle down to the folks that already received their 12-month extensions. Majority of people seem to now be in the limbo status and we'll probably stay there now for a good while.

Since you are moving address, you'll want to file form AR-11 and form I-865. Be sure to also have your mail forwarded to you through USPS as an extra precaution. I honestly doubt they will transfer your case at this stage.

Has anyone else had any movement on their cases?

This thread is generally for people who filed for ROC in February 2018.  Here is the link for people who filed in May 2018:  May be better able to follow current trends on that thread with people with similar timelines:

@starsky I looked at the list of documents we can use for verification and it shows we can use the driver's license and social security card, so no green card would be necessary in this situation.  So I think we are just going to go that route to not cause any hassle seeing as the GC is expired.  I don't expect random employers to know about the I-797 allowing an extra 12 months of verification, so I think it best to try to ignore that option completely.  Since we have both other items needed we will go that route for now.  Thanks for the heads up though, if it comes down to it I can let them know it's not required to provide the original documents that we showed last time.

Message to mainly Starsky but everyone filing at the California Center too,  at last some movement!

So today I received another NOA  Form I-797C  from  the California center, stating that they will reuse my previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics and will run the same security checks using these fingerprints

IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO APPEAR AT A USCIS ASC FOR ANOTHER BIOMETRICS APPOINTMENT.  AND YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND OF THE BIOMETRICS FEE

So Starsky this confirms what we were thinking, they are using previous fingerprints and saves us having to turn up at a ASC ( I would have had to drive to Jacksonville from Gainesville about 3 hour round trip) so I'm not complaining! yah!!!

They also state that USCIS is continuing to process my case, so good news really
