So guys!! My EAD and AP has been approved on the 23rd of Dec and I had no Idea!! I had the USCIS app but I guess it didnt refresh properly! I only found out today soo yaaaay I can join you guys lol!

I seriously think my case has been forgotten!!! Oh well atleast I am with my husband .. Not like k1. *counting my blessing lol*

Hey I wouldnt worry just yet.. Simply because it is the holidays n a lot of staff might be off.. Wait till xmas n new yrs is over.

I am so depressed now still no EAD/AP and my status still says fee received!

I just need EAD so I can work!! So bored of sitting at home doing nothing. I had a job approval but they can't wait on me nomore! Never in my life have I sat at home for months doing nothing *sigh*

J_<3_S I 100% feel you! Same.. I used to be so independent back home but now I have sat at home since Aug n I have probably gained 10-20pounds *urgh*!! I just want to be able to work n be part of the social. I love my husband but I feel like am losing it!! EAD needs to hurry up atleast

Am I the only one who has had no update since my biometrics 2nd of Nov! No ready for interview update, no EAD/AP , No RFE (don't want it but hey atleast I know someone is working on my case).. Am slightly worried *sigh*

I haven't heard anything since doing my biometrics on the 2nd of Nov and my status still says "fingerprints fee received etc" *sigh*

No, My status is still same. So did not receive any notification for biometric appointment. just got the letter in mail.

Did your status change at all? As seen when you received your biometric appointment letter, did you receive any notifications due to that?

Hey I got a WA state ID recently and it doesnt expire till 2021 although I applied it with my I-94 (due to expire first of November also) and SSN, I was surprised.if you do manage to get one you can travel within the US with it no worries.

Also if you use ur passport its fine they dont even look at any visa or etc, just the ID page. I've travelled with my passport a lot within the US So you should be fine.

How can you check if they cash it or not??

We did it via money order, you can see of they've cashed it or not by money order receipt tracking number.

Wait till you get the three receipt numbers from USCIS first and depending on how you guys sent the payment you can track to see if they've cashed it.

Weird thing is after I received the three receipt number I quickly checked to see if they've cashed the money order but they didnt :/ later that day they've cashed it. Lol

So I came here on K1 visa got married and now going through aos! When I do receive my EAD I am hoping to start work asap!

My question are:

1.Do we file as joint? (I am going through aos so am not resident yet and dont have green card)

2: I am going to work with my EAD so my guess is that I have to file regardless right? Even though I am not resident yet

2. Do I also give notice to HMRC (Q for the UK people)

Hey everybody just an update!

I received all the NOA1's via text and email today! Three different receipt numbers

LOL! Okey not as bad as that but it is horrible.

Bigger roads!! If anyone has driven in London you will understand how painful it is driving with our crazy busy traffic and small roads!

This how we did it:

- Poe

- Applied for marriage license

- Applied for SSN 3 days after Poe with I-94 and passport

- Got married

- Added on my husbands account with just SSN and passport

- Applied for state ID with SSN, passport, I-94 and marriage cert. for name change (to get driving license I need to pass knowledge test apply for permit and then pass driving test but for now I can drive on my UK driving license)

- Sent off AOS package

Hopefully when I receive EAD I'll go back to SSN office to change name and remove the "authorized with DHS etc etc"

I guess it all depends on which state you're in as well.

Mine got delivered today as well via FedEx let the wait game begin...I just hope to receive my work auth. ASAP as I want to start workin!! So bored of being home lol
