It's all well and good saying you want you your family there, you want to give a lot of notice, you need it for school and so on and so forth. That doesn't change the fact that nothing is set in stone. Likelihood of him going into AP, probably isn't very strong. However that doesn't give you the right to just go off on members who are here to try and help. Understandable if somebody was rude but nobody was. You may not like/agree with the answers you get, you just need to realise that theses members are just trying to prevent you from setting yourself up for a fall!!
This is the first very small step in the K1 journey. Let's just hope that from here on out you're able to do this process all but yourself and you do not have any questions. With this attitude there aren't gonna be many that would help. Yelling at people and acting as if you're the only person who wants their family to be at their wedding is not the way to go.
Don't listen to anybody's opinion on here, like you said, your opinion is the best one. How about just listening to the U.S. Embassy, they tell you not to make any wedding plans or non refundable travel plans until you get your visa in hand.

Hopefully he won't get deployed, it would make things so much easier and obviously he wouldn't be over in Afghanistan!
Just checked my status on CEAC and it says 'in transit', so all being well could be over by July. Still worried about the whole AOS situation though. So if we do get final concrete evidence that he's getting deployed then, expediting the AOS will have to be our option.

MARCH 18!! Are you kidding me?!! Ok so I'm guessing the likelihood of your case being sent to NRC is VEEEERY likely. There was a post stat was started back in October, not sure what it was titled! But a few people had their cases sent to NRC, so maybe there may be some answers in there of what to do!

15 years and over - £245 (From May 1, 2015 the fee is £250.00)

All over this site and in the instuctions is tells you not to make any concretre travel arrangments. Well let's just hope you get sorted by then. The trick to calling NVC is, as soon as you hear the voice say 'Thank you', just put the phone down and call back. do that each time untill you hear it ring first. You'll only get through on a ring. Persistence is the key.

I don't understand why she says legally you have to pay for her deposit and rent!! Unless I'm mistaken, I'm pretty sure as she's the one who cheated and not you, you're not legally tied to pay anything. You can't be sure how far things have gone with this other guy(s). You need to get evidence of her wrong doings! If she's the one who caused the breakdown of the marriage you shouldn't be paying for her. . . Anything I have also read that you can divorce her. You can remove your conditions on your own.
Like I said, unless I'm mistaken, this is what I know to be true.
Get info from a lawyer whoes speciality is in this field.
