Hi guys! I also got an approval letter today My online status says the Post Office picked up mail containing my new card and there's a tracking number My NOA1 was July 31 2017. So glad this is finally over.

Well i was just about to schedule an infopass appointment when husband came back with the mail and my new extension letter was there! Yay! 😊

I got the letter too saying they will reuse my previous biometrics. (finally!)

All,.. I went  & created a login. I entered the WAC# that was on the Extension Letter and it showed 3 entries

1) jul 21 2017 basically receipt of my i751

2) feb 25 2018 & 3) feb 26 2018  - these were the same that they are reviewing and if I have not received a notification by Mar 28, send them an inquiry. 

 

Nothing about being transferred to local office.    

 

One time when I spoke to a Tier2 person, I was given a WAC# that, I suppose,  would be on my bio letter and added to myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov but that too did not yield anything different from the above. 

 

Those whose I751 was received same time as me , are you guys still waiting for bio letter ? It is kind of disheartening to hear of people who submitted after us got  their biometric letter/ did fingerprints  and/or even got an interview. - I am glad for them but I got to wonder what is going on with ours?

Well I got this now:

On February 26, 2018, we received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WACXXXXXXXXXX, at your local office. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Seems like almost everyone is getting this message. Btw this is the receipt number of the NOA1, the second one still says we received your form CRI-89 blah blah.

You need the receipt number from the biometric appointment letter to check it online. Since you never received one, you can call USCIS and ask to speak to Tier 2, they can tell you what the receipt number is.

I was called for the interview within 4 months, not sure if can call it lucky since i didn't get the CG. I have never received any biometrics appt, not sure why they called me for the interview without biometrics and according to the officer she can't use the old ones, they are expired. At the interview it seemed the only issue was the biometrics, we submitted 500 pages of joint documents. 

There was a similar case in the August fillers thread. They filed in August, had an interview in December and got a biometrics appointment after the interview. Not sure what happened to them after that...

Unless I'm mistaken, only if adjusting from K1 you might not get an interview. If adjusting from anything else it is required.

Maybe K1 will be easier in this situation?

It takes more then a year for ROC currently. You may receive a biometrics appointment letter, a letter saying your biometrics are waived, or nothing.

I filled in July 2017 and haven't heard anything since.

No, you don't need to apply for a new one.

On Oct. 10, I called the USCS main number, and they put in a service request.  Then, I called back on Nov. 13, and they told me to send an email to the CSC, which I did.  They sent me back an email claiming to be backlogged.  Still nothing.  Has anyone else waited so long (over 4 months) for the biometrics appointment letter? 

I'm still waiting. I had one service request and nothing. I guess I will call them again to put another one.

You have to list her, but where it asks "is this child applying with you?" just  check "no". That's all.

Isn't your daughter a US citizen? Why would she need biometrics?

I'm afraid July 2017 Fillers have about a year wait before we get approved. I haven't even had a biometrics appointment yet. xD

Lol... The one I got said they might waive them, but he wasn't sure Anyway I still haven't received anything...

My friend who filed a month after me already got her biometrics appointment. What the hell is going on there?? I really hope I'm part of those people that do not need the biometrics taken 

For some reason these "longer delays" are only happening to people who filed in late July... Everyone else seems to be getting biometrics on time... Now i wish I'd waited a few days to file

I sent in my petition to remove conditions on my permanent residence card to the California Service Center on August 6th, 2017. I received my NOA1 in the mail on August 14th and have been waiting on my Biometrics letter since. Is this an unusual amount of time to wait for a Biometrics appointment, more than a month after I filed my papers?

Just wanted to know if anyone else was in the same boat with a similar timeline.

It's not unusual right now... A lot of people are waiting for the biometric letter.. My NOA1 is 7/31 ans still nothing...

Yes, mine was the same way, and i was also worried, but didn't have any issues at POE or anything

American I think... It's been a while though, so I can't remember exactly
