I managed to do a successful walk in for my biometrics appointment this morning. Please update my biometrics appointment date to 03/27/2019 ( it was supposed to be 04/11/2019).  I wish everybody here a nice smooth process. hang in there guys!😊

Congrats! We have the same NOA1 date, so hopefully, I will hear something soon. Fingers crossed

Congrats!!! 

Finally!   I saw an email this morning saying action had been taken on my case and I logged in to find my card being produced notice.  I hope it comes quicker that 120 days!  I filed May 28, 2017 but my NOA is June 1 2017.  
 

 

Just got an email from DHS page saying my card is being produced! Yay! No update on the normal USCIS case tracker yet... hope it isn't a glitch lol

it should be, logically, but hey, who knows, we are dealing uscis here

Teamsamy. Name and date of birth updates sometimes precedes approval. In some case, few. No body knows for sure what that means. But it has nothing to do with background checks and travel.

Who else checks their case status update about 5 times a day at the moment. I'm running out of patience!

Thats right! Fiscal Day 244* is June 1, 2017.  Btw Vermont is working on June but because a few officer are behind with their pile of documents from April or May doesnt mean they are stuck in those months... 

Hey everyone!  I don't wanna sound like a jerk, but there is a separate forum on VJ dedicated to N-400 form. This thread is about removing conditions and it's a little bit hard to go through pages and pages every time trying to find replies which are actually relevant to the form I-751 and the progress of your cases. I hope I didn't hurt anyone's feelings.

Take it from someone who was in an emotionally abusive and adulterous marriage for WAY too long...it will only get worse. I tried for many years to fix my marriage, going to lengths such as the ones you are going to, with no success and always feeling worse and worse about myself. When you said you always walk on eggshells that really hit home for me, because that is how I felt for our entire marriage. I stayed for my kids, but ultimately ended up hurting them more in the process. My advice is to grasp onto what little self esteem you have left and walk away from this abusive man before he completely destroys your spirit and your happiness. No one deserves to go through these things. This is a problem with HIM and only HE can fix it...nothing you ever do will be able to fix it for him. You WILL find love again, and you will find it with someone who loves you just as much as you love him, and who fulfills you as much as you fulfill him! I was alone for 7 years. It was discouraging at times, but ultimately I found the love of my life. Keep your head up and be strong! So sorry you have to experience this. You are in my prayers...

I sooo agree with that..... and the fact that it's psychological abuse.
You are not the problem and honestly I think you do already more than you should!
You can also play his game and make him feel he is not good enough for you.... but... I would suggest to not loose your time and energy with theses kind of games and to move on.... and that If he wants to go, the door is open.

Thank you! I need some light shed at this point this process can be exhausting as u might imagine, I too thought it would all end after the interview.
I don't want you to worry though! I'm sure that by the time ur case reaches the embassy this issue will be resolved. I actually think this issue only affected those that interviewed after the computer glitch in June because some interviewees from July had their visas issued within a week!

The whole being in queue thing does make sense but I really would hope that there is some sort of order to that said queue. Like I've mentioned some interviewed in July and had issued within a week. My husband's full name isn't even that common....

I can't speak for the other embassies, but I can tell you there are still several others with June interviews from Cairo waiting for their visas.
I'm pretty sure it took me getting serious with the embassy to trigger them issuing our visa. I called and emailed every possible agency with any association to the Department of State. I let the embassy know that they were in violation relating to timely visa issuance, I gave them a deadline to issue the visa, and I let them know that if they didn't resolve the issue by the deadline, I would file a complaint with the Office of Inspector General.
I recommend trying it. When you send the email, email it to both the immigrant and non-immigrant visa email addresses. When sending the email, put (URGENT!!!) in the subject line next to your case number. Also, when emailing the non-immigrant visa email, let them know that you are emailing them because no one responds to the immigrant visa email. I would also state all the dates you have called and email to justify why you are emailing them, and why you are planning to take further action if you do not receive visa shortly.

I'm sure with your superior knowledge, had you gone, you possibly would have waltzed out the front embassy gates with visa in hand whistling a fine tune. Your fiance lacking the intelligence you say he does to conduct his own interview... Tunia isn't America or any other country at that. They don't care who you are or where you come from. I appologize but it urks me a little how we in our superiority feel we can just push people to our own bidding and talk down to our fiances like they don't have the intelligence to come in out of the rain. You say your stupid fiance could not conduct his interview as you would see fit but you wouldn't last 24 hours in Tunisia without him I guarantee it. Maybe I'm saying all this wrong and going about it the wrong way. Tunisa does things their own way and there is nothing no one could do to make it any better other than the person that was sitting in that interview chair. .. your fiance. Your interference, possible arrogance would have made it worse. And they don't like stubbornness and arrogance. When we had our interview they accused my husband of being a fraud and refused any evidence. But they took his passport and a month later he had visa in hand. This is the process. Everyone goes through it like a right of passage. But don't dishonor your fiance by calling him names on a nation forum. Because he was the one sitting in that chair. And he must have done something right because they took his passport. Welcome to the abyss of AP. PS: No offense intended by my posts.

Inshallah this month going to be the month we receive our passports with a hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee visa stamp on it ( ALL OF US) :D , we are all so exhausted but better positive than negative. Pain will be over soon

Hi everyone,
My husband arrived to Washington Dulles POE on Tuesday, June 23rd. The lines were super long and although the TSA and Customs people appeared to be treating everyone not so nicely, they treated my husband very kindly and gave him a "Welcome, Buddy!" when he went through. I am so happy he's here and now we're beginning our life together.
The process sucks so much and tests your patience, but when you finally see your loved one in the airport--jetlagged though they may be--you know it's worth it. Good luck everyone!
