I also just called NVC rep told me I can send in the corrected mistakes with old AOS barcode sheet.. What do you plan on doing I do want to send it in ASAP.

OK I was told by two reps that I can use my old bar codes sheet and submit the missing info. I previously received a checklist in September so I used that barcode. I did not wait for the checklist email. I sent it off today once the rep confirmed what the checklist was for (missing tax transcript). It should arrive tomorrow and I'm hoping for a 11/26 scan date.....then the 60 days begin again ???

I confirmed with the rep that for my case, I will only get two checklists maximum....anything after that Wil be asked to be brought to the interview so the case WILL be closed after this 60 day wait.

She said the 2 checklist maximum is done case by case and is not automatic.

Keep in mind I fall under an F4 visa...just sharing my experience here..

Just got off the phone with NVC... Spoke to Sonia in the spanish dept and she confirm CASE COMPLETE AS OF 9/18 omg I can't even type!!!!! Status never change to n/a

Ugh I hate that you and Perez2012 got a checklist I feel horrible when this happen specially over silly small stuff... Hang in there and this time around the 60 days goes by quicker exept for the last couple of days those are horrible lol ... Thanks for letting me know and hopefully I hear something by Wednesday..

Yes it is horrible! I am OK for now...some days will be better than some but good news is that case will be closed in January so hopefully a March or April interview.

Just checked.... No n/a yet hoping this next couple of days are quick and lots of cc before they close for the holiday, I know NVC will be open Friday but I have a feeling they probably won't get anything done that day after Thanksgiving.... Come Oct start already!!!

O, this is my final checklist as well. If any information is missing or incorrect I will bring to the interview. So I'm back in line and starting all over again...

You should wait for the checklist from NVC. If your AOS is approved,there would be no need to send the tax returns. But if you are told to send the recent tax returns, you will have to send a new affidavit of support along with it. So there is no meaning of sending the transcripts alone.

I have been waiting on the 60 day review of the AOS for 52 days now and I just noticed that tax transcripts for the recent year were not included. I called the NVC and they said send it and include the cover sheet from the CEAC website. The case has not been reviewed as yet so I don't officially have a checklist.

Should I wait for an official checklist to see if the tax transcript was the only thing missing? Or do I send this right away and hope that everything else is ok.

So this will take me another 60 + days! I feel absolutely helpless. I have waited 51 days . 51 days

So I called. Case hadn't been reviewed but I was told that a checklist will be generated because of the missing tax return. I was advised by the rep to just go ahead and send it off and not wait for the official checklist.

I am absolutely devastated by this news. I had no idea this was to be submitted!!

My attorney fill out the I864 not the ez but I would just wait to see if you get hit by a checklist, I mean your so close to the 60 days already that a couple mores days won't make a different and who knows you may not get one what's your scan date? Two other people just got hit with a checklist a bit ago they found out by calling tonight, had you try calling them?

ahh gotcha I tell you what if I would of know about Vj before my hubby would be here for xmas cause I would of avoid that stupid checklist... I trusted my attorney and I learn a very hard lesson, Trust no one!!! lol she messed up 13.a plus left something else blank which grrrrr made me so mad.. fingers crossed you hear good news soon

I feel so bad! That copy is required right? Would they ask me to bring it to the interview? Or would they need to verify before?

I am on day 51 of waiting.. what should I do? Just wait? Or should I mail out the taxes on monday?

I'm confuse now lol so you mail out the Iv package first back in July without the aos? then they review for Iv and approve it but you got a checklist asking for the aos package? so technically this is the first time for them reviewing the aos correct? I say just wait out the next couple of day for a cc don't go crazy trying to figure out if something is wrong because honestly those forms make no sense at all specially the income part... just keep thinking positive and hopefully you will get a cc soon and I'm right after you..

Yes, I started this process not knowing anything about the F4 visa process or timeline.I was following the guide of someone here and a sibling who had previously done it.

I came to VJ looking for a K1 visa infoIV went in july, I got an email in September saying that the AOS was missing. When I called the NVC they said the IV package was OK the only thing missing was the AOS. The was mailed in September so now I am waiting...and waiting....day 50 now!

I call the NVC every week...and check the ceac site multiple times a day now. Keeping my fingers crossed for myself, you and everyone else!

Don't think that way... You are already waiting on a aos checklist right? did your Iv was fine? I honestly don't think they haven't gotten to Oct yet. I did see that cc with 10/2 but who knows how they work.... I'm also terrified of getting another checklist on the samething since I'm so confuse about the whole 13.a question but my attorney once again told me it was fixed but honestly I don't trust her anymore.. but for what I had read also no checklist for the same thing generated but all we can do is wait and see and pray for the best.

Yes, a checklist but technically not...I submitted my iv package in July and that was reviewed in September. The checklist I received was for the missing AOS for which I never submitted. I actually mailed it two days before I got the email from the NVC. Now I'm waiting for that to be reviewed. My petioner completed it and I mailed it. It was done before I really got into this site so I am worried that something may be wrong with it. I actually have a copy of it but I'm afraid to go through it now. Maybe I should?

Yep! NyJones.. no word on your cc yet? I think your scan date is close to mine aos checklist scan date on 10/3 nothing yet.. Also I got a friend that I'm helping with an Iv package of 9/30 and nothing yet either.... ugh they are taking forever to wrap Sept up..

No word yet! My scan date is 1st October. I really feel like I have a checklist since I haven't heard anything yet. I called the nvc yesterday and the same 60 day story.

They are at the end of September. Between the 24th and 29th. Although one cc with October 1st or 2nd was posted yesterday.

FINALLY Case complete.

Got a checklist for the AOS after about 60 days we fixed that and the new scan date was october 1. Got case complete yesterday Nov 18. so 48 days in total. Now waiting for interview to be scheduled.

I'm happy! But sad. Congrats on your cc. I'm October 1st as well with AOS checklist. Now I know for sure they are working on October but I'm afraid that I have another checklist.

Are you getting the message "invalid phone #" ??

It rings about 3 or 4 times then disconnects. When I check the call log it says "call failed " I have used Skype to call the Nvc for the last month.

Well, I wonder if Skype has now discontinued calls to the NVC. We have been able to call without problems from Thailand for the past two months up until last night when the number started saying "invalid" NYJones.... Are you calling from OUTSIDE the U.S??

Hopefully it is fixed soon. I only started using skype after magic jack discontinued calls to the NVC but with any luck I won't have to call the NVC anymore after this month.

NYJones~ are you trying to call in from outside the U.S? We're getting an "invalid #" message from Skype when the number was working fine last week...we've called many times. I tried it last night and thought it may be a glitch but today the same thing and we've tried it from my husbands account as well. Seems as though something has changed in the system.

Hello VJ ers ~ I'm wondering if anyone else if having problems calling NVC using Skype from outside the U.S. We are in Thailand. I have been using Skype to call the NVC for the past 2 months and as of last night it started giving me an "invalid phone #" response when calling the exact same contact # that has been in my list for months now and has been working fine. Anyone else experiencing the same problem. Tried it from my husbands Skype account on a different computer and it's the same story. ??? hmmm~ frustrating.....

Finally, after checklist case is approved!

In case anyone's keeping track, checklist package was received with a scan date of Sep 24, and was approved on Nov 15, ie Day 53!

Hi everyone!

I promised I'd come back with an update to my waiting times with regard to the 60 days:

I have just got off the phone to the NVC to find out we have 'Case Complete' at last! (as of 14 Nov). So, just to let you guys know that was on day 51 of the 60 advised (they got our checklist items on 24 Sep). Our initial packet took 58 days to review before we were asked for these checklist items. Total time: about 114 days from date of receipt of first packet (includes time between the initial review ending and the NVC receiving checklist items).

Some (relatively!) good news on the checklist front: I found out that the NVC will not initiate a second checklist - in other words you can only have a maximum of 2 lots of 60 days maximum waiting for review. If any other documents are found to be incorrect/missing etc at that stage they will ask that they are brought to the interview at the Embassy.

Just waiting for my interview to be scheduled now! :-)

Ok. Maybe I came across jumbled.....are tax returns valid for only 1 year? (January to december?). Therefore, if I go to the interview in February I would need 2014 returns and not 2013 ?
