HI all.
I want to thank you all for the help.
My wife got her green card approved. She got a mail today saying it is approved. Even though she is outside the country now. But phew what a journey.
We got RFE Dec 2018. Even though I did not have a joint bank account. I sent what all I can. Affidavit. Power of Attorney etc..They said she will get her card in 60 days.
Thanks again to all members and to God and wish you all best.
I will be popping time to time to help others. -

i hear you
I am just worried about the bank account now.
I will submit with what I have.
I am a idiot for not opening a bank account, don't know what I was thinking -

Right, and because you know it's only a matter of time before the war begins, you bought two houses there. Brilliant.
If I had known would not have :(

So that it will be easy for both of us, if we want to visit family here.
And with the situation in Ukraine, never know when war can start. So want to wait couple of years.

Sooooo, why the hell does she need a green card?
(dude don't move to Ukraine, you're nuts!)
I lived in Kiev for couple of years. I had no problems.

OK, even if I believe you, your goal is get USCIS to believe you. I personally don't care one way or another (except that I am positive that investing in ukrainian real estate is a very bad idea).
From what you're describing, your wife is not residing in the States. Did you consider perhaps moving to Ukraine?
Yes we have plans to move to Ukraine in couple of years.

I been thinking of opening a Bank account got lazy, never thought we would get a RFE.

ok, this makes more sense now, and still seems weird.
so you are married. you don't share finances. you bought property for her outside of US, she is out of the country for long stretches of time.
this looks like she's not interested in permanent residence here (which is consistent with not wanting to be a citizen).
not to mention, she'd rather be without you than with you.
just an observation
No she hates being there without me. We are just fixing our houses there, also her mom is sick. That is all.

You guys are weird...
Why weird ?
Just now, implife said:Oh yeah. I would be very concerned about this.
Ask her to stay put if she wants to become a citizen.
She is not interested to be a citizen.

Did you file joint tax return?
If so, get online transcripts from IRS and your state.
Do you have a joint bank account?
If so, provide copies of statements. If not, add her to you bank account now.
If she's an authorized user on you credit card, get a letter from your bank stating that, and provide copies of credit card statements.
Do you have 2 people who can provide sworn statements they know as a married couple, have them do it.
If you don't have these things, you (your wife) is in trouble.
All my three years Taxes are joint. I printed out the transcripts.
I cannot add her to bank, because she is out of the country. It says one of these.
Checking, savings.
Life health insurance.
federal and state tax.
So I have life and transcripts.
Affidavit alreay getting. -

if you have her as an authorized user on your credit card, you can send a copy of both cards showing both names attached to the same account. Can she email you things from her current location if you need them?
I am getting affidavit from her friend. I think I have everything so far.
If they need join bank account. I will have to create one after she comes back.
1 minute ago, NikLR said:Okay so send that information, along with anything showing she is a beneficiary. Get a will done, at least on your side so that she's a beneficiary if you die. anything that shows you live together (mail in both names) cards, etc... even text messages showing mundane things like "hey what's for supper" " I dunno you're cooking!"
Card with credit card number blanked ?

OP, I can't believe you don't have a joint checking account. What is your spouse supposed to do financially in the event something happened to you?
I gave her two credit cards, she is a Authorized user. I was able to get that from the bank.
In the event something happens. She will get money from Life Insurance, and show my death certificate to get money from bank.
I also put a lot of money in her bank account. So that is no problem1 minute ago, NikLR said:if you have her as an authorized user on your credit card, you can send a copy of both cards showing both names attached to the same account. I got print out from the bank, which says she is a authorized user.

You posted in Removal of Conditions forum, so I'm assuming you are at I-751 stage, right?...
1. Get Tax Transcripts from IRS , for Tax Years 2015-2016, AND 2017 - USCIS wants to see the most recent Return as well.
2. Evidence of combined financial resources.... - What did you sent with original I-751 submission?
Having a Joint bank account is really strong evidence during ROC, but since you don't have it...
Insurances - health, car, life?
Car titles maybe, with both names on it?
If you have a 401 (K) or any - is she a beneficiary there?
House? - Title. If not, maybe both of your names on House Insurance?
If there is no house, rental agreement, with both names on it??
POA, wills..?
I have car Insurance in both our names.
Life insurance she is beneficiary.
Bought her two homes in her home place.
Gave her power of attorney.
Rental agreement I already sent them.

My wife does not work, so we do not have one.
W2 from my wife ? does w2 have spouse details ? -
This is what it said, Copies of 2015 and 2016 income tax returns with no evidence of filing with the IRS. what does that mean ?
What is the evidence ? IRS trasnsripts ? I sent them IRS Transcripts printed direct from their site. What is income tax returns ? are they both not the same ?
I saw on the IRS transcript now PTIN but the numbers are masked part of it. -
Is Affidavit from a outside country allowed ?

Transcripts from the IRS are easy to get. You can make an account at irs.gov if you dont qualify to make one they will mail the transcripts to you.
Do you both share a joint credit card? If so I would print out statements showing both are using it. How did you file your 2017 taxes? (Or did you marry in 2018?)
And if they asked for affidavits then yes, they feel it is necessary or they would not ask. Why would you think they do not really want information they have asked you for?
I added her name to the credit card, but she does not get any statements. There is a option to add a person name to credit card.
I sent 2015,2016 transcripts and our name was on it. -
Today I received RFE for my wife.
Copies of 2015 and 2016 income tax returns with no evidence of filing with the IRS ?Does that mean I have to provide transcripts from IRS ?
Evidence you and wife have combined finanical resource.
My wife has no bank account as she does not work.I gave her a credit card in her name. But no bank account.
I have power of attorney that I gave to her in Ukraine. Is translation to English ok ?
Affidavit from third parties who have knowledge of Bonafide of martial relationship. Is this necessary ? -
