  1. I agree with you on that one, instead of wasting all that money on wars, build the wall and spend money for the country.

the whole idea of invisible borders that certain people can't cross because they were born on the other side is kind of ludicrous if you put aside all your ideological baggage and just think of it from a pure human rights perspective. If the patch of land you were born in sucks and you know about this other patch of land that offers a better life for you and yours of course you're going to do all you can to get to that better place even if you have to ruffle a few feathers along the way. so if someone wants to throw caution to the wind and illegally cross our borders and take jobs I, and pretty much every other legal resident of this country, have no interest in having then I say right this way your table is waiting.

a good way to fix the problem would be to throw some money at countries like Mexico and Cuba or the "problem" areas where people are illegally crossing from. Contract companies like halliburton to make those places better and more appealing for their residents to stay put. Pull some of that money out of rebuilding the countries that already violently hate us and rebuild some of our allies or neutral neighbors. that seems more mutually beneficial than protecting depleting oil reserves.

  2. Sylvia handled mine also, she did a great job, it tooks a week for her to approve it.

The key is to ask to talk to a supervisor, yes that is after 30 days is done, ask for a supervisor direct. And hound them every day.

    and also pray.

hahaha! yes speaking to a supervisor really helps... i hounded one down all week and guess what FINALLY my case has been complete!!!!

if anyone wants to know the name, go to Sylvia!! she knows what she is doing !

  3. Yes may be the moderator can change the title for me :)

"why do people who say they love you cheat on you"?

You mentioned 3. That's hardly many. Few months back the same kind of post was made of Nigerian men. On any given day you can find any nationality post about their cheatin husband or wife, American or otherwise. It happens.

Your question really should be "why do people who say they love you cheat on you"? Irrespective of nationality. :goofy:

  4. What you said is right, but if the person's original intention was to move to the US, under false pretense of love, then withdraw the support. If they left family and friends they can always go back to their own country.

or give back all the money they spent for bringing them here.

Again intentions what was the immigrants to get married love or something else intention is important here.

If the spouse was a abuser and she cheated it is other thing.

What I hear on this forum so many times is USC's holding a foreigner almost hostage with a GC or citizenship, etc. Would we seek to crush another USC's world for such a thing or give them another chance? It seems like some exspect these foreigners to grovel at their feet just because the gift of US citizenship has been presented. These foreigners leave bad conditions, yet. but they also leave their loved ones, their lives, etc to be with a person and they are people just the same. If one would seek to destroy a USC for adultery, then so be it. I feel sorry for that mentality. But if one would try to work it out with an adulterating USC, then he/she should try to work it out with their love. We married for love right? Love covers a multitude of sins. There are some things that i absolutely do not trust my fiance with. but I know that and i loook at the good and I look at the bad and yet I love him and wouldnt hold him to a higher standard than i would an american. and I certainly wouldnt make him a slave. not saying that hte OP is doing that, but so many times, the first thing i hear on difficulty is removing support, withdrawing the petitions, etc.

    I agree 100% person.

The problem isn't a holding someone hostage it is that most people have more self worth than to think they have to remain chained to a person that can't keep their sexual organs under control. Personally I think any person that can't keep their lower lips away from some strange penile probe doesn't deserve to be given a second chance. Love has no part in a relationship where one is spreading there love and legs all over the neighborhood. We should applaud the person that show enough self respect to kick this type of partner to the curb,

  5. She is already in the US ?

My Filipina wife of 4 years is an adulteress. I just found this out and her N-400 interview date has been scheduled in July. Any final divorce would now come after that date. Do I notify USCIS that I am in the process of divorce? She filed under being married for 3 years. She already has her 10 year Green Card. Would USCIS complete the interview if they know we are divorcing? We still would be married at the time of her interview.

  6. Why so many women here are cheated by Jamaicans ?

I been seeing so many posts by people whose husband are from Jamaica, one post where the guy is cheating with a girl in canada, and has a baby with her in Canada and has twins with his wife in the USA.

Another Jamaican guy gets his k1 visa but he ran to Switzerland, and the poster talks about how she got cheated.

Another post on how this ladyis not allowed work and her Jamaican husband is cheating.

  7. They want to show they care, but might have hidden plans.

Beauty of Islam, look in Syria you see.

Three Muslim organizations have banded together to raise money for eight black churches that have been destroyed by fire after nine people were shot and killed in a Charleston, S.C. church on June 17.

“To many it is clear that these are attacks on Black culture, Black religion and Black lives,” the organizers of the fundraiser say on the campaign web page.

Four of the eight churches have been ruled arson and are being investigated. Three others are being investigated for possible arson.

“We must always keep in mind that the Muslim community and the black community are not different communities. We are profoundly integrated in many ways, in our overlapping identities and in our relationship to this great and complicated country,” the campaign page, organized by MuslimARC, the Arab-American Association of New York, and Ummah Wide, a digital media startup focused on Muslim issues, says.

The campaign is being crowdfunded (that is, any given amount donated by lots of different people toward a larger goal) on a website called LaunchGood.

“We believe that Muslims have incredible values to share with the rest of the world and LaunchGood is a manifestation of the impact that Muslims can have when they rally together for good,” co-founder Amany Killawy said in an email.

Since the campaign to raise money for the churches launched on July 2, the effort has raised $24,065, as of this writing, toward a $25,000 goal from 546 supporters. The campaign has 10 days to go. The organizers say on the campaign page that funds will be routed to the churches most in need through direct contact with pastors and church leaders.

“It's Ramadan and we are experiencing firsthand the beauty and sanctity of our mosques during this holy month,” Imam Zaid Shakir, a Muslim American scholar, says on the campaign page. “ALL houses of worship are sanctuaries."

Mr. Shakir says that there has not been anywhere near the amount of resources amassed to help rebuild the churches.

“We created LaunchGood as platform to support Muslims launching good across the globe, which is not limited to the Muslim community only,” Ms. Killawi said. She pointed out that the campaign to help rebuild black churches launched during the month of Ramadan which is “a time of increased generosity for Muslims worldwide.”

  8. Don't worry US government will give him free citizenship soon, while people who are legally here have to wait 20 years to get Greencard :)

I have a friend who entered US through F1 visa but had it expired now for 7 years and never applied for permanent residency, he/she currently working and been paying his taxes regularly. What will be his/her options to adjust his status without facing deportation and ban?

  9. You are ready to take this large step of Marrying your first cousin ?, you might want to read a little about Genetics Diseases before you take this step of marrying your first cousin.

    Do not be offended.

Wish you luck in your marriage :)

    Hello All!

This is my first post and before I begin the process of filing I would greatly appreciate all the advice I can get.

I don't know how else to say it, so here it goes.... my fiance is also my cousin.. first cousin - as in his mom and my dad are siblings. I am sure it is not the first, nor last, time this will occur, but for some reason I am really nervous about the entire process. I am very nervous that my petition will be denied due to this fact.

Also, he is a citizen of Mexico. I know cousin marriage is legal in the states, but I also worry about being able to have a catholic church wedding in Mexico.. can it be allowed? I'm not sure if a "Padre" will agree to marry us. It may break my heart if not.

Anyone in this situation of knowledge willing to send me some advice.. some peace of mind. It will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you so, so much in advanced.
