canadiangirl39 reacted to hopeforme in no separation at stokes interview and also no decision after the interview
Hi everyBody. This is my first time posting here.
    So here is my story,
Me and my USC wife are married for 3years now. SHe has babe(my step son). I have come here with f1 visa.
We Applied in June/2014. I received both the work permit and interview notice letter in november/2014 . The interview date was 12/02/2014. Me and my wife and lawyer got there at 8am. We were called around 8:30am.The io got our IDs and the oath and started the interview in an aggressive way. We responded everything beside the fact that he was not pleased with the fact that I met my wife dad only 3times in 3 and half year. He kept repeated that question. Anyway after 30min we were done and he told us he will send us his decision by mail. After a month waiting , my lawyer called me on January/10/2015 that we were scheduled for a second interview (stokes interview) in just 4days(January/14/2015).
Me, my wife, my step son and my lawyer went all together to that second interview. We got there earlier. We were called

Me and my husband did not have anything together as its understood that we live in different countries..I was not asked for any of that...he should be fine. Since your marriage is under 2 years he will be granted a CR1 visa valid for two years after which he will have to file ROC that is when you will have to prove all that stuff.

My question is why are you not trying to empower yourself, learn to drive and get a driver's licence, get a decent job, take ESL classes, familiarize yourself with the neighborhood, make friends, and be an independent woman...my mom used to say that the devil finds work for the idle hands...when you have too much free time you will look for trouble..
Just be straight up and ask your husband what the other line is for....stop sneaking around and posting this kind of stuff on visa journey it makes your husband look bad and you don't even have anything solid to back up your claim...
Im not trying to be mean, just being realistic..

Hi just a little advise, if you keep checking your status on the ceac website everyday, u will just stress yourself out...Just have a little faith that if the nvc scheduled your interview for a specific date then they will definitely send your file to the consulate...just a matter of time...
I have never heard of anyone showing up to the consulate for their interview and their file wasn't there.
In the mean time just get your medical done, get your paperwork in order and try to relax...remember a watch pot never boils. lol..and good luck with your interview.

A couple of January filers got the email yesterday stating that their files were being transferred and to wait for further details. That obviously made me nervous.

Yeah i don't think they like Canadians much, last year in May i tried to visit with my then fiance and i was questioned for about 4 hours and then denied entry because of lack of ties to Canada, i wasn't working at the time, they never looked at my greyhound bus return ticket. Got married and hubby filed papers, he comes up to see me often, although i am now working im still scared to take that chance to try visiting the us again. Everyday I say a prayer for us all who are waiting on papers to start our new life in the us. Hope we can hear something by next month.
I am following Igor's list every day and it seems that at one point they were approving January filers, then they went back to December and now November, seems a little backward to me. Its disappointing to read.
