LOL…yes…the NVC thread is daunting…. … i still get nervous when i see it!!!! . I am not out of NVC…..yet…..until i see the tracking thing move and my papers are at the Montreal Consulate.

Facebook pages..eh! they are good.

I think most people from the November thread would have moved onto the NVC stage, at least by now, if not all the way through. I remember by the time i got the I130 approved about 40-50% had it already approved and were moving to the NVC stage. Fingers crossed!!

Lol, didn't quite disappear but the NVC thread was so daunting, it seemed to grow a hundred pages a day, I just stuck with the Facebook pages I haven't looked lately but I hope all the rest of November are done with uscis now.

Congratulations. I think AOS fee didn't change to N/A in Soloenta's case. So far I have found it to be a reliable indicator of case complete.

Oh don't be scared or nervous about that. I am sure you have a case complete. Your AOS fees went from PAIN to N/A right. Also you called up and confirmed it. You are in with us. LOL!!

I know of some cases where after the case complete they never got the email and directly got an interview date. Also you got a case complete on Oct 20----- so i would definitely wait till the 27 Oct to get that email.

Now I feel scared from your post. I got cc on Oct 20 but have not received anything yet. I wanna trust the operator on the phone but yes they are NVC!! It's not always 100% true..

Welcome to the thread….as per the wiki on first page most interviews are arranged at the end of the month for the subsequent month…so i am assuming we will all get interview dates between 30Oct - 7nov, for somewhere in the month of december….

Yes i do have a lawyer. things change a LOT when the lawyer calls the NVC instead of you.

Maybe EP is much faster now (and you have a lawyer).

My suggestion --- is that if your AOS bill hasn't changed from PAID to N/A or if you cannot take bad news, hold off till tomorrow or even Monday, if you can. I am sure you will get your CC before that.

Most probably you will see that somewhere by friday, or over the weekend, you will have to fees changed from PAID to N/A. if not, you can call on monday and legitimately ask for a supervisor review (worst case scenario) . Fingers crossed!!!!

I think there were a couple of cases in the october thread who did say they had a case complete without the N/A.

Saturday will be 60 days for me. My scan date is 8/27. Only today and tmw working days is left. Still dont have a CC. Should i call NVC and speak to a supervisor? Or just wait it out hoping eventually to get a CC.

Also, can someone have CC although AOS fee hasnt changed to N/A? Im afraid to call bc i dont think i can take any bad news

My papers reached NVC in early june and i got my IIN and case number assigned in early july. I sent AOS and IV package on july 11. got check listed for AOS (minor error) rescanned document by email on Sept 8… and got case complete on oct 16.

Ok its official now ---- FINALLY got CASE COMPLETE EMAIL today from NVC.

I had a the AOS fee change from PAID to N/A on 16 oct and called up NVC to have a verbal confirmation. But I only got the email today from them confirming it.

I did EP processing from Canada. Last scan date was Sept 8 for AOS checklist.

I truly want to thank Saylin for the wiki. it truly helped a lot. Thanks so much.

Now getting ready to move to the interview thread. Step 3 waiting officially commences….

Ok now i can say officially….

CASE COMPLETE. I got the AOS fees changed from PAID TO N/A on October 16, and confirmed by calling them but after what happened to Soloenta I don't trust them. FInally today got my email CONFIRMATION.

I guess now i am on this thread. Woohoo….. Now to wait for them to schedule an interview ….hopefully early december.

Ok officially i can say ……. CASE COMPLETE WITH NVC…. I had verbal confirmation on 16 Oct but today on 23rd got the email from them confirming in written.

LAST SCAN DATE: Sept 9 (tuesday) for CHECKLIST on AOS.

and then you waited till early october to get an interview date, right?

And to schedule your medical what all the information did you need? like a case complete email from NVC? an interview date letter? etc?

Oh thats great news for you. I am so glad at least one of us is out of this mess. Atleast now you can rest easy they have all your documents. this means 60 days ---- sept 25 --- so nov 25…right? And they are moving faster….compared to 60 days..after all they are approaching first week of september.

I have given up any hope of getting an interview before february/march of 2015. Since my new scan date will be Oct 7( IF THEY ever confirm it!!), I might get lucky and if not get another checklist have a case complete by december 7-15. So the interview should be in February or MArch of 2015. Well i will call early next week and see if they ever received the oct 7 email …till now…No confirmation!!!

I would say wait till this friday..why? my reasoning is.lets say you sent it today Oct 15and they do find your paperwork in the system.then my worry would be they might give you Oct 15 (and 60 more calendar days) as the last scan date..even though its the same paper.this is NVC.maybe i am jaded by the systemLOL.. .

If you wait till friday and call up NVC and they say the still cannot see your paperwork in the system..then send it again. This way if it is delayedthen at least its because you gave them enough time. I honesty don't know. I am not an expert at NVC otherwise I would be long over this Process...

as of nowi think its all magic and mumbo jumbo.people are getting case complete from sept 3 being their last scan date and there are people waiting from aug 14who knows what is going on...

Hi TargetNovember14 I received this morning a letter from NVC indicating they have received my Sept 25 documents. Remember the only ones in there system were Sept 12 and they could not find Sept 25 or Oct 3 well they now acknowledged they found one the Sept 25 one.

I spoke today with NVC the supervisor said she has sent out a request to search for those emails and she has not received any information yet. She said I had to wait and she would call me. The funny thing is that I talked to the operator before that and she still could not see any of my emails for Sept 25 and Oct 3 I wonder what happens if I send another copy again??? What do you think??

I am an EP filer and i can tell you we get processed similarly to the people who send their paperwork by regular mail. when you send by regular mail..you can track your papers, and then know when it reached them and then also get to know the scan date in a phone call. But when you do EP program this doesn't happen. IF you are LUCKY…then then send you an email, otherwise you had to wait and call everyday to find out if your packet is even in their system. This can take upto 2 weeks or longer. Apparently the customer service agents do not have the email information for about a week minimum. I sent my document on Oct 7, haven't got an email and it is not in their system…so i have to call them everyday until i know thy have it.

As for processing, I know that is exactly the same…the only difference is…when you mail a package…say oct 1 -- they receive it oct 4 and scan it oct 7..thats your date….so you loose maybe 6 days, but all throughout you know where your paperwork is. In EP if i mail my package on Oct 7, (this becomes my scan date), but I have to wait at least two weeks to even know if they have my email. And if not, then i have to send it again on say oct 21 and then date may become my new scan date. We don't get any special treatments.

Last time I spoke to a rep at the NVC I ask if EP's were process differently than mailers. The rep swore that they were processed the same. Even when I told him I have seen EP's with later September scann dates get cc he said that maybe they are lying because they reveiw all the same way. We know that's not true. Even today on this thread there is a cc with a september scan date. Everything is scanned and done electronicly once it gets to the NVC so can someone olease explain to me the justification of EP members getting reviewed before us mailers?

Don't worry, PCC once reached the NVC is valid for one year. Until its something different.

ok so your case is just like me --

my AOS and civil docs were sent on jul 10 under the EP program. On july 11 we received email confirmation. On july 12 i added an extra PCC. No email confirmation on it. Got reviewed on sept 4 saying i have only 1 checklist for AOS in part 6 item 10. My lawyer sent the corrected AOS on sept 7. NEver heard anything back. I asked him to check on it, he didn't. Finally i called up NVC yesterday Oct 7 and found out they don't have it on their system. FOund out from my lawyer he sent it to NVCattorney@ instead of NVCelectronic@. This time he sent it to the correct email address.Which means i lost one month FOR NOTHING!!! Now waiting.

in your case --- you said you got two checklists --- were they two separate checklists? like two separate emails?

And you called to confirm and it took them 5 days -- from sept 10 to sept 15 to give you a confirmation. correct? for the AOS checklist.

Hmmm you sent the BC on sept 25 and then again on oct 3 . and they don't see anything for this but only for sept 10 email? I think you have a typo because you say sept 25.

I would definitely call the supervisor. Technically it takes them less than a couple of days to send an email saying they have received our paperwork. I am calling them everyday and so is my lawyer until i get a confirmation that they have received it. If i don't hear anything by oct 14 i will ask him to re-send it. And will continute to do so every week until i hear from them. He already has a supervisor request.

when we had first sent the paperwork in July..we sent the first email on july 10 and got a response back that they have received our documents on july 11. then on july 12 i sent another PCC again. I never heard back from them on that. But i got reviewed. the reason i say it, is because you sent some documents for your checklist and got a response right? and then sent your BC again later.and haven't received a responsei think it will be ok. Though as of right now, i am not 100% its NVC after all!!!!

by the way how much time did it take them to send you an email fro the time you sent your response for the checklist that you sent the first time?

Ok so here is my story both my AOS and Civil docs were reviewed at the same time. On Sept 5 they issued 2 checklists one for part 13a on AOS and 1 for BC on civil docs. On Sept 10 i sent in the checklist docs to them I called everyday until on the 15 was told they had my email and scan date was Sept 10 i requested to speak to a supervisor to explain that in the original dicuments the BC was included and tgat I rcvd a checklist why? So she said that I needed to submit a specific one not the one I sent. So on Sept 25 i sent the new BC i have been calling everyday and they have not rcvd it according to them so on Oct 3 i sent another one and i have been calling again and they still dont see any emails except Sept 25. So i think i am going to call for a supervisor this is Ridiculous. Since we do EP they can see when our email arrived and they keep on saying they dont have anything. I think we should get Saylins opinion on this.
