  1. I am going to change the petition to 7 posts. There are about 3 posts to many by more than a couple riffrafians....on this thread alone. If you can't help someone in 7 posts.....either your advice sucks or the recipient is stoned.

What did you have for breakfast....blah, blah blah?? and on and on.....and on. How about we just name this the lonely hearts club where we get to "communicate" with other lonely souls?

I came to this forum to learn a little...but more importantly to give my wisdom to others. It is to hard to concentrate with all the ADD people on here.

  2. Never mind that man made global warming is a scam....what I find even more annoying are religious people throwing their hats into the scam. If they actually believed in God all they would have to do is pray to God that he will change the climate the way they want. But...apparently God does not answers their prayers. I wonder why......stupid people should get a bullet in the head.

  3. Sexual abuse does traumatizing things to one's psyche. From my experience it goes two ways:

The person becomes withdrawn. Trust issues, anger problems, lashing out at anyone. The other way is what Miss Anderson is describing. I've known girls who exhibited the same behavior. All of them had been abused at some point in their lives. By family members, close friends, boyfriends, or even husbands.

All the above things you mentioned, are classic symptoms of sexual abuse. Unless we know 100% she's lying, we shouldn't judge.

I agree. Her abuse explains much of her adult behavior.

  4. What did the bum with a case of diarrhea mouth say to the 359 pound hooker.

    You can't handle The Truth

Anyways....as a multiple firearm owner and a crack shot to boot :dancing: I would not quote the author of the article as he clearly does not know to much about guns.(i love run on sentences).

I do not know the accuracy of all the myths...but some facts are questionable.

MYTH: AR-15s are like machine guns capable of firing hundreds of rounds a minute.

FACT: AR-15s fire 45 rpm with lower accuracy, around 15 max for sustained fire.

If your objective is suppressive fire, not kill, an inaccurately high rpm is the choice for troops in combat. A shotgun in close quarters is more effective. Additionally:

The AR-15′s rate of fire is not nearly as high as some exaggerated numbers I’ve seen. Sustained rate of fire is roughly 12-15 rounds per minute, and that link is for the true military M-16 version. They tend to overheat and/or jam if you shoot too fast. It has been widely reported that the AR-15 jammed in the Aurora incident.

    [...]

The .223 is smaller than the hunting ammo. The AR-15 also typically uses “ball ammo”, which tends to make a narrow hole straight through the target. Hunting ammo is often designed to expand as it goes through the target, causing more damage. So Mr. Alexander is very wrong on this. The AR-15 has a less lethal payload.

AR 15 can are only capable of shooting 45 rounds per minute....and can only have a sustained rate of 15 per minute?

Must have a slow trigger finger. Any quality semi-auto you can fire a round about as fast as you can pull the trigger. If I had a high capacity magazine...like huge....you could shoot at least 120 rounds per minute. How long is he talking sustained fire? two days, a week? How long do you need sustained fire? How long will an intruder stick around while getting shot at?

Also a .223 is a popular hunting caliber for smaller game and varmints. Ball ammo? never heard of it. All kinds of ballistic tips and most are designed to expand on impact.

The ar-15 is .223 caliber and thousands use them for hunting.

Less lethal than what? The most common sold ammo is the 22 long rifle. It is a small game load. Squirrels, rabbits etc. Although the diameter of the bullet is almost the same....the .223 is waaay more devastating.

  5. What do you mean by this?

It is all about the lie/myth that all people are created(born) equally. Tell that to the Down syndrome baby!

Each race (averages here) has there differences. However, it is taboo to discuss these differences as anyone who does gets immediately labeled a racist. Since that vast majority of Americans fear being called a racist......it cannot be talked about.

    It is what it is.

  6. To argue we should give someone a un equal advantage based solely on the color of their skin is suggesting that, their skin color alone puts them at a a disadvantage.

    Now that is racist

It seems to me that you started this thread...so you could call someones idea racist.

But that's just me. Maybe I am wrong.

So basically people are cowards or racist? You posted a thread...yet were afraid to speak your mind about the article. Would that make you a coward....or you just don't want to say what you think....because "heaven forbid" someone thinks you are a racist?

Anyways....Here is my take on affirmative action. It should stay in place. All races were not created equal nor were the sexes.

    If you can't see the differences...then I can't help.

  7. each time i hear about some groups wanting to pray at public school functions/government meetings etc..i wonder why christians don't take all their god references and ten commandement ish out/off of public property and keep them in their churches?

    I agree. They should.

My point is the Satanic Templers are just doing it to mock other religions and in this case the Catholic church.

  8. If you consider being brought up on the largest DOJ case of housing discrimination only slightly racist then I'd love to hear what your definition of medium rare racist is.

The largest case of housing discrimination? I will take you word on this as I have not read the details.

His ability to affect more people may make him the worst kind of racist in your opinion. I can understand your point of view. My definition of worst is different.

He employes black men because they will bring in the money for HIM.

It a meaningless argument . This is what all business do. You hire the people that make the business successful. It is pretty simple actually.
