  1. Congrats on the approval! Now, as for the dreaded NVC, YES, you can e-mail them at that address. Put your receipt number in the subject, and in the body include "The beneficiary's name and DOB" and "The petitioner's name and DOB" (Label them as such as well), and send the e-mail. They'll respond when they feel like it. In my case it was a WEEK after I got the case number over the phone. (From studying the e-mail, it appears that the NVC contracts an outside company for at least the e-mail processing. So, that might have something to do with it).

thank you so much for your answer!!

wish you the best of luck that your petition will move to your embassy quickly and for your interview!!!

  2. That has been MOST of them that I have gotten. Obviously with us having to dial 10+ times to get through, and then having to hold for 20 minutes, their call volumes are high. In some call centers there is pressure applied to eliminate busy signals, and to get hold times down. If this pressure is being applied to them, it makes sense.

YES! Yes you can. If there are visa fees, you probably have to pay those first, and then you can schedule your interview, and get the medical if required.

Once you have a case #, you can check your status here: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Default.aspx?App=IV

hey chris..it seems you´re some kind of NVC pro so I have a question for you :)

Is it possible to ask for the case number by email or only by calling?

you postet this emailaddress : NVCInquiry@state.gov once and I just wondered if I could send an email to them two weeks after NOA2 to ask for the case number??

we got approved on 03/13/2014 :D YAY

  3. I re-estimate this everyday! :') I would love to be approved by August so I can arrange everything to be there by early September, Realistically I think I'll be there by mid October (Although at this rate it'll probably be late November!)

I was hoping to get in the US end June or earlyx July and get married early september..

realistically???I dont know???I dont know how fast/slow NVC or my embassy will be..

the sooner the better I would say :)

  4. Yay! Congrats! So happy for you smile.png

There's one thing I'm not really sure about when it comes to the embassy stage though: Do any of you guys know if you always get to pick your interview date online? I thought I saw something on here that said they'd send an interview date to you via mail?

yaaayyy thank you..I still have a big grin on my face ;)

I am not certain with this but I THINK the german embassy will send you an interview date via mail..

    does somebody know better???

  5. My NOA1 date is the same as yours, so I'm hoping that approval is round the corner for me! It'll be such a relief and mean that finally things are starting to get real!

after i read that email I looked around in flat and thought: holymoly..Ive got SO much stuff to get rid off :) I can hardly believe that its happening now..crazy!

Congrats, Msdynamite!! I'd check out your embassy's review and look to see what they require from there. Also, there are a lot of people who are always talking about the NVC and calling for a number after a certain amount of time. Looking at those threads would be a good idea too, I think. We've started gathering information for the paperwork he'll need for the Dublin embassy.

thank you very much for your reply..Ill look up these threads..I think I saw in the K1 guide, that I can start calling NVC after round about 2 weeks to get this new case number and then make an medical appointment..

and I already found that sheet about what kind of paperwork my embassy will need from me..WOW..

I am REALLY happy for you because it was awful that no one on ehere was getting any movement. This gives some hope that they are working on these at least. I dont think the week behind you matters as it seems that TSC and CSC are 2 diff worlds. They must have a great coffee machine in California. Those people are hopping. smile.png

Im going to visit my honey next week so that will definitely distract me.

Do youknow what the next steps are for you? NVC then you start calling your consulate?

Is there any way for any of us to randomly check WHAT month the consulates are scheduling appts for in our fiance's country or is that only accessible once we have the magic numbers?

ANDdancin5hr.gifkicking.gif lets all celebrate this approval!! we all need the pick me up. LOL

see at least you get to see your man. I havent seen mine in two month already and will not until I have my visa in hand, because we have to safe some money for the qwedding and AOS.

that K1 guide pretty much explains what to do..at least I think so :)

thank you anyways for your kind words.

and I wish ALL OF you a super quick visajourney.keep your chin up!!!

  6. It looks like it's well and truly halted February! It looks like at the beginning of every month they slow down slightly? Hopefully they're just working on the older cases before they start the next month!

Man I really thought they gonna start on the February cases this week but it looks like they are working on older cases before that..

We filed nearly around the same dates..right on top of February list...but now estimated times moved up big time :(

  7. I am SO glad I am not the only one! I was beginning to think I was losing the plot! laughing.gif

I would not be this frantic with checking the timelines and data if there was more contact with the service centers available, but as it is a government office I expect no less than what it is today! *sigh* unsure.png

Good luck everyone. here's to reuniting with our spouses as quickly as possible. God knows we miss them terribly.

It's not the waiting in itself for me. It's the unknown that's freaks me out.

If they deny our petition it would change our life's and our plans completely. But I guess all of you know exactly what I mean. So hoping and waiting it is :/

  8. Are you a data fanatic too?! I check all of the stats, trends, timelines from TSC, timelines from my country and all timelines who filed around the same time as me!!!!

Fiancé thinks I am driving myself nuts by obsessivley checking hahaha rofl.gif (I am though ClockWatch2.gif )

How come all the guys are so relaxed and all the women freaking out.

I try to relax and only check status once a day bug I can't help myself staring at igor's list and the stats and trends hoping to somehow see a trend when noa2 could come..

Patience is such a hard thing.

And my fiancé? Always telling me I'll drive myself nuts...maybe I should try yoga or something :)

    Good luck to everybody!

  9. Ok back to english..... Wish there would be a good german forum like this tongue.png I would tell people to stop talking in english biggrin.png

No the I-134 doesn't need to be notorized! I have never heard from it..... And I think a copy of tax return from 2012 and if you already have it from 2013 would be good too! If your fiance has any stock he needs to put evidance of this too.....

I will put W2's as copies in it too!

Hi- I´m a January 2014 Filer and if you wish to talk to other German K1 Filers (and about lots of other themes regarding america you´ll find them at: http://www.amerika-forum.de :)

good luck with everything. I hope I don´t have to wait for NOA2 as long as you guys did.

  10. You didn't file to Texas Service Center... you filed your petition where all petitions are collected in Tx and are distributed to the Service Centers. Yours will be adjudicated in CSC (California Service Center) based on where you live. Just register in the USCIS website to receive an email and/or text from the service center.

Haha oh ok..thank you very much for your answer!

I'm the beneficiary and had no clue where it goes :)
