also nachreichen musst das ja auf jeden fall, denn du wirst deswegen eine checklist bekommen. ich würd sagen, mach's so wie du das geschrieben hast. ich weiß nur nicht, ob du das einfach so nachreichen kannst oder auf die checklist warten musst. aber ich denke mal, wenn du dazu nen cover letter schreibst und alles erklärst nehmens sie's auch so an.

ooooh neeeinn..ich habe heute das pack 3 weggeschickt und jetzt sehe ich gerade auf der kopie, dass mein cosponsor auf dem I-134 die spalte wie alt er ist und seit wann er in den USA ist, vergessen hat.nachdem ich es 15 mal gelesen habe jetzt erst gesehen..ARGH.

Just got packet 3 from the embassy in London! Immediately went online and filled out all the forms, be prepared for the lengthly online forms which are basically 10 pages of 'are you a human organ trafficker, are you a communist' and in depth history of yourself!

Which means all I have left is my medical in 2 weeks and then the interview which will be scheduled after they've received my results. Such excitement! It's so nice to see everyone's cases moving!

whohooo..mine did arrive too. also my medical is scheduled on 24th...crazy fast all of the sudden!! so happy

Genauso ist es - Ihr schickt alles ein genauso wie es auf der Checkliste steht. Den Proof of Ongoing Relationship habe ich ebenfalls mitgeschickt - der CO hat das auch recht interessiert durchgeblaettert, bevor er mich zum Interview gerufen hat.

Zum Interview braucht Ihr dann eigentlich nur noch den Pass und das Einladungsschreiben mitbringen, aber ich hatte die wichtigsten Unterlagen (NOA2, Fuehrungszeugnis etc) noch mal in Kopie dabei. Man weiss ja nie...

Ok, also eine Frage hätte ich dann jetzt noch - ich hab echt schiss was falsch zu machen.

Ich schicke den Barcode/die Confirmation Page zusammen mit meinen Unterlagen, dem Print das ich das Fee gezahlt habe und der letzten Seite der Checkliste nach Frankfurt?!

Diese ganzen Unterlagen muss ich in Frankfurt ja nochmal dabei haben oder nicht? Schicke ich denen also Kopien meiner Unterlagen?

also ich werds so machen: alles exakt so abarbeiten wie es auf der Checkliste steht, eine Kopie von dem ganzen Paket machen und diese Kopie dann mitnehmen zum interview.

auf der Checkliste steht ja zb. bei Geburtsurkunde und Führungszeugnis dass sie Original und Kopie haben wollen. Deswegen da auf jeden Fall das Original mitschicken.

I am wondering if the embassy in your home country (once it receives paperwork from overseas) will just send you a date for an appointment or do you schedule an appointment with them once you have mailed in all necessary paperwork (police reports, etc...). So pretty much if they send me the packet could I let it sit there for a couple of weeks and then submit everything and then they would give me a date??

Specifically asking because I am planning to travel to the US and be out of the country for a while. We have been waiting for our NOA2 for 5 months and no news, so I want to spend some time with my fiance.

once you have received the pack 3 and you followed the checklist sending all te required stuff to them, filed the ds 160, done the medical and paid the visa fee, they will send you a date for the interview appointment!

just keep in mind that noa2 is good for 4 months and medical for 6 months.

1) You can check your status, the way you did with your USCIS case number. Your fiancee will also need it to fill out the DS-160.

2) At the embassy and ready for interview

3) I don't know. You could try calling/emailing the embassy and asking.

kein problem! ich hätte auch besser das k1 visum machen sollen. da geht alles viel schneller. sei froh, dass du nix mit nvc am hut hast, die brauchen allein 6-8 wochen um einem überhaupt mal eine case # zu geben

najaa..also unser antrag wurde gerade von der uscis an nvc geschickt und ich warte auch gerade auf eben eine neue case #...ich hoffe sehr dass es schnell geht..aber 6 wochen wurden mir bis zur sendung ans konsulat wohl auch genannt

dann musst die die unterlagen von 2013 mit zum interview nehmen. zumindest sagen das die leute im nvc thread und ich kann mir kaum vorstellen, dass das bei direkter bearbeitung durch das konsulat so viel anders ist als bei nvc und dann konsulat

You only get the reply if you write it all lower case. We sent both and got the autoreply, but they never actually bothered to send us the case number. Called yesterday and found out it was forwarded to the embassy 3 days ago.

strange because I sent both ways too and didnt get any auto reply..

well if they dont answer anyways we will have to try calling.

But if u are not sure I guess it's best to wait for my dads 2013 1040 instead of using my grandpas affadavit. I just want his visa approved. The 2013 1040 is the only way to prove someone won't become a public charge??

I have exactly the same problem about my co-sponsor not having filed 2013 yet and it is unlikely he will until april.

it would be great if someone knew the answer about the extension..that would help a lot..

ich sammele gerade alle unterlagen fürs pack 3 und habe von meinem co-sponsor jetzt soweit auch alles bekommen. allerdings hat er mir jetzt nur die tax returns (selbstständig) von 2012 zugeschickt, weil er die taxes für 2013 noch nicht eingereicht hat.

ich vermute, dass, wenn jetzt das pack 3 vor dem 15 april eintrifft texes von 2012 völlig ausreichen, aber danach?

ist es sehr wahrscheinlich dass sie dann 2013 noch anfordern?

mein co-sponsor ist von der extrem langsamen sorte und braucht sicher noch MONATE bis er die taxes gemacht hat..jemand einen tip??

I don't know if anyone else has made this mistake but I wanted to point it out so nobody else makes the same error. When sending emails to the NVC Do Not capitalize NVCinquiry@state.gov because you will not get an auto reply. For the past week I've been on the phone with reps at the NVC telling me they weren't going to receive the email if I wasn't receiving an auto reply and today I even spent $20 mailing them a physical copy of my passport to correct the Date of Birth error they made. After emailing from separate computer and email accounts to no avail, I decided to write the email in lower case nvcinquiry@state.gov and I received an immediate auto reply. The Visa Journey Wiki page has the entire email capitalized NVCINQUIRY@state.gov which I didn't try so maybe its either all capitals or lower case but I believe that the reason none of my emails went through to the NVC was because I wrote the email as NVCinquiry@state.gov which didn't produce an auto reply when written this way.

I didnt receive any auto reply even though I emailed to NVCINQUIRY@state.gov ...is that a bad thing??

ich hab auf der website vom konsulat nachgeschaut und da steht nur, dass man ihnen bei umzug bescheid sagen soll. ich würde die adresse auf ein extra blatt schreiben bzw ein kurzes schreiben aufsetzen und mit dem pack 3 mitschicken, sonst geht das auf einmal noch unter.

ich habe die NOA 2 vor einer woche erhalten und warte jetzt auf pack3. ende mai werde ich in mein zwischenlager bis zum visum ziehen und daher ändert sich ja meine adresse.

ich denke pack 3 wird vorher da sein. kann ich zb die neue adresse hinten auf die letzte seite vom interview request schreiben oder brauchts ein gesondertes schreiben/email/formular wenn ich die unterlagen aus pack3 zurückschicke??

I have kinda the same question: I´ve got NOA2 and expect to be in the same spot until Pack 3 has arrived, but will move end of May and guess that Pack 4 will not be here by then..

is there a way/form to inform my embassy of the new address together with sending the reply of Pack 3?
