It won't be automatically sent to you as they have no idea when you received your greencard. They don't even know if you got a greencard or if you were denied.

In my honest opinion,  you shouldnt go to infopass. You dont have a case for fraud based on what you posted. Just like you knew unpleasant stuff but went through with the marriage/continued the relationship with good faith intentions- the same can be said for him. He could have had other relationships but still good faith intent with you.

Actually, this board is for anyone who is going through immigration and has anything they want to talk about. We are all here to support one another in every step of this, even if it's after immigrating and settling in. This is not simply a board for people to get information on the immigration itself. Many people find comfort in getting advice on their daily lives from others who have had similar situations occur. This is exactly why this post is in the forum for change in family dynamics.

To the OP, I would suggest having a sit down again with your spouse. Make a list of benefits and disadvantages for taking the position. Break it down in different ways so that you can see the different options and she can see it on paper. 3 hours seems like a long distance for a job but being offered the opportunity for relocation and they are willing to pay is a huge benefit. I personally have joint custody of my children and we have the 50 mile rule, except that we do not follow it. We asked the court to waive the rule due to job opportunities for us, and it was granted without a fight. If she is worried about it being an issue, she could talk with her FOC worker about it. Even if you could talk with the company about maybe relocating you halfway between where you are now and where they would like you to be, it would cut the commute down for you going to work and her getting the kids. It is hard to give sound advice on something when I don't know much about your relationship, but relationships are best when there is compromise. See if there is a happy medium you guys can work out before turning down the position or risking your marriage.

They don't give 2 shakes or a holler about what it takes to make you jump through their hoops.
Speaking about who gives a shake or a holler, what's with that useless lawyer of yours helping you at this late day? Ours kept in touch and sent inquiries. Yeah lawyers are lawyers but ours is ok. As my wife says, "he's our good Russian, Jewish lawyer..."
    Still hopin' for you...

One approval today, sorry Movin On, perhaps tomorrow?!?!
So tired of all this... I thought that England had issues with bureaucracy, red tape and civil servants, but this takes the biscuit, it really does! Tomorrow is another day!
Going to watch Hell's Kitchen now, oh how I wish I was Gordon Ramsay and could shout, scream and swear like him, I would have SO many choice words and a hoarse voice but I am not, I am just another person with no particular status in a huge country!

So I was not expecting USPS to deliver my wife's GC until tomorrow. I signed up for USPS status updates and got a delivered sms an hour ago. Ran to the mailbox and there it was. She's in Mexico right now and we were not expecting the GC until tomorrow so I will be wrapping it up and taking it to her today. I can't believe she'll be crossing CBP inspection tonight with her GC.

My renewal of I-765 and I-131 were terminated before I have GC in hand. They canceled the day before sending my GC because the applicant receives a status or benefit through other means.

According to one of our thread members about a month ago, soon after they got approved they received an I-797 NOA saying because they "...received benefits by other means..." (i.e., GC), their application for EAD was cancelled. So the answer is don't waste your time, stay home and celebrate...

I see there's been a whole load of BS from USCIS today. Root and branch reform is required of this agency and the law under which it operates.

I'm out of town at the moment so I don't have a copy of the cover letter I sent. But I did send completed EAD form, AP form, copy of NOA for AOS, copy of front and back of my current EAD/AP card and a cover letter. I don't remember what else I sent. I won't be home for a few more days, hopefully someone else will be able to let you know everything that you'll need to send.

federal stuff , the I-864 guidelines,
    have nothing to do with
    state stuff, for divorce guidelines.
    sorry.
in states that allow alimony and/or spousal support, such as california, the case is adjudicated either before a judge or terms are agreed between the two parties prior to the divorce hearing.
if the OP wants some control on things, he should file as the petitioner in the divorce.

There is nothing uncommon about your story. By your own choice you have been an illegal alien for several years, left home because your father was holding you accountable for the money he was spending on your education and now it sounds like you are planning visa fraud. Do not expect much sympathy here on this forum. Grow up, learn from this experience, and make better choices in the future. Good luck.
