It is soul crushing... I try to have a positive outlook in life but unfortunately this seems to be an indefinite drag. The good thing though is we are all almost there and we will all be approved... 

This is just another set back from USCIS that since a few months they slowed down for unknown reasons and some of us will require another set of biometrics. I live nearly 400 miles from the only place where biometrics is done in my state which means I will have to take 2 days off work to take care of this. I just wish they didn't treat us this way, but there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. It's just the way they want to run their business...

I got a checklist for my AOS & was told to wait 30 business days. There's nothing much that we can do but just wait.
Just hang in there and you will be fine.

Read a few post earlier today on VJ & then on the US Embassy Mumbai website.
Decided to call NVC. The lady told me that she doesn't know of any system crashes and that NVC is not affected by any of it since they only process visas. Its the State Department that issues visas.
She further said NVC system is working just fine. This is how she was able to retrieve the latest information on my case and asked to wait "30 business days" which will be August 8

I'm curious as to if there are any nebraska approvals?

I asked this question earlier today and someone replied and it made sense to me.
You don't count your spouse twice as they have already been counted for as the Intending immigrant.
I have put n/a on it and tomorrow I'm mailing out my package.

Can someone answer this?
Question on AOS
Part 5- Sponsor's Household Size
If you are the petitioner and have included your wife as the intending immigrant, do you have to count her again? Because it says "if you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse.

I could be wrong, but I think they ask you for the US address so that they can mail you the green card there.
In my case and in most cases the petitioner is already living at that address.

The representative from NVC told me as long as you have the case number anywhere in the packet (in my case it is present on my ds 260 confirmation page), they will be able to match up my file. He said it might delay it by a few days, but there is no reason to worry about.
Also he was kind enough to tell me call back next week to make sure that my packet has reached the appropriate department and I will do that after the memorial day weekend.

I agree, I haven't seen any July approvals from Nebraska.
