  1. HOLY .................... Called just now, we got an INTERVIEW DATE!!! WOOO HOOO!! July 17!!! I'm at work and was whispering the moment he said "I see an interview date was scheduled.." I jumped.. all my co-workers are just staring at me now.. bahahah!! :dancing:

Interview scheduled for July 10th at the embassy in the Philippines! :D

    Case completed on 13-may-2014

    Interview date 1-july-2014s

    Scheduled on 28-may-2014

We got 7/22 as the interview date Alhumdolilah!

A huge Congratulations to all that got interviews :goofy:

  2. For some reason, I'm really not feeling the urge to call today at all!

Something inside me is really calm today! Stange, very strange! So not like me at all! What the heck happened to me???????????????

I can totally relate to your state. The exact same thing happen to me when I send my checklist for AOS. I sort of made peace with myself and was really calm. I thinks because throughout the process we stress so much that after a while something in us tells us to keep calm. Its good to feel that way once in a while :)

  3. Can the petitioner living the U.S. make the VAC appointment for photos and fingerprints for the beneficiary online at the given website? (They tell you to do it online in the package the beneficiary receives in mail?

And also my husband will have to travel 8 hours to the New Delhi embassy for his interview and that is the where he has to make the VAC appointment in New Delhi... So can he make the VAC appointment like 1-2 days before his interview date so he can do both and not travel there two times??

Yes, the petitioner can make an appointment, I just did for my parents. I believe it should be fine if your spouse does his VAC appt 2 days before the interview.

  4. Do i need to come over there and slap you now. :bonk: LOL it will be fine.

Sometimes i think they make some things vague to weed out the fake non committed people. I have know of a few couples who stopped the whole process because the documentation was just too much for them.

Really they just had a jack relationship the immigration process process as we all know will break or make your relationship.

Can I get a AMEN!! hehe

Well, LOL LOL The thing is my parents are close to 70 and I am not worried about my self, but you know if they have to travel again to submit additional papers they wont like it very much. Thanks anyway :)

  5. If 2013 income and tax info were not submitted to NVC then for sure you need to have them on hand during the interview.

You should have a copy of everything that was submitted to NVC (AOS and IV documents) at the time of the interview. In case they are looking for a document and can't find it, you will have it handy. Plus you should have the originals of everything not submitted to NVC already.

    Timeline, please!!!

Well, I am in a panic mode, again. I submitted all the originals and their copies to NVC. Now, I don't have any more copies of any IV docs. I called NVC and confirmed about the issue. They said that since I submitted everything, there shouldn't be any problem :help:. I swear I am so over this process

  6. Yes Peace500 you are correct.

JKSforever, Yes you can have two joint sponsors. Did your co-sponsor make the guidelines for current and last year? Remember NVC could careless. The just look at current. The embassy (some of them) they do care.

Hurry and get your second sponsor and get that paperwork in. Sorry for your delay but that's all it is a delay.

I always though that NVC would tell us if a second sponsor was needed. I remember one member ( a while back) was notified about a joint sponsor.

  7. Dhweel help me pls

I hd my interview this morning at manila emabssy an they issued mo 221g. They said may husband and my joint sponsor income is not enough and they want me to sent another joint sponsor.i can provide the other joint sponsor but is there a chance tht i may get denied of having 2 joint sponsor? I am only the applicnt and one more thing the embassy kept my passport

Was your AOS not approved at NVC. Did NVC not tell you that you will need a second joint sponsor?

Also, you can have up to two joint sponsors. Correct me if I am wrong, DWheel.

  8. My wife's OFC appointment is tomorrow morning. I am wondering if you can respond to the following. As you can see she is little stressed out (and so am I) :)

Is she allowed to take in her cell phone and her purse to this appointment? Because then she can go to work directly from there.

I am pretty sure YES, She can always turn her phone off and make sure there is nothing like liquid or metal in her purse (except keys I guess) VAC is not as strict as embassy, I don't think. My father carried a bag with him (ie papers and phone turned off)

  9. My spouse interview is 5/28

On, the interview guideline sheet, part of it say's

"If the relative who filed the petition has become a U.S. citizen, bring a notarized copy of the naturalization certificate or official notification from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) indicating that your relative is now a U.S. citizen."

Anyone know what does that mean?

    Is that something for me?

I was a green card holder, when we first met, (2010) then i went and got my citzenship in 2011 & we got married in 2012.

I was a citzen before i filed my petition.

    Hi,

Did you call or recieved an email form NVC. How did you find out the interview date ?

  10. When you wake up, maybe you could add yourself to the spreadsheet... :) :) I was looking for all the Indian CC in April. I did not find you there.

bbaahhhh.....I have been so busy lately ( thats a lie) forgot about the spreadsheet. However, upon your humble request, I am going to finish the task rightnow :)..... Jokes apart, I opened the spreedsheet 3 times and then thought that I will fill it when I get the interview date.
