6 months, 1 week & 2 days + 1 congressman + 1 senator + persistent calling = 1 APPROVAL!!

Yay, I got the e-mail and the app notification at 3 this morning! It's exactly 181 days from NOA1 to NOA2. Was starting to think it would never come, now I'm in utter shock and am extremely excited of course!! It's been 5 working days since the senator's office called the USCIS, so I'm thinking that had a little something to do with it

Pretty excited... Just booked a flight to go visit Rebecca. I'll be leaving August 6 and coming home August 10. It's only 4 days but I'm very excited and it will be worth it. I also sent in two letters to a Congressman and a Senator today so maybe something will come from that. We're coming up on 6 months... Maybe there will be some action on our case in the near future. Wishing everyone the best and sending you positive vibes.

I think you can fax USCIS your job offer letter, and request for expedite of EAD.

I understand. So why dont you go and live with him In Turkey until your visa is approved. Believe me you dont have many months left for the visa on hand. Besides if you go to the interview with him, that would almost guarantee your visa approval. Turkey is beautiful. And you would have the opportunity to mend your relationship.

We talk a lot. We talk about funny stuff that happened in our lives. We know this is temporary. Can you go and visit him? Try to keep busy, but seriously dont quit. What are you going to do in France. Not being able to work will be another depressing situation for you. Besides your parents need you. Once we will be together, this will be a memory. Also dont forget that Turkey isnt high fraud.

Hey we submitted in January, and we are still waiting. I didnt see my fiancee since last year September. Hang in there. We should hear sth soon. After we get the NOA2, things will move very quickly. Besides Turkish embassy isnt high fraud so as long as you provide the paperwork, your fiancee should get his visa. Im telling you i didnt see my fiancee close to a year, and we were living together in US. How about that? Just hang in one or two more months.

As far as I know, you can help her only when you become an LPR or better yet US citizen. If I were you, I would consult an immigration attorney.

Ok, Im not "totally disgusted" anymore...a month after waiver approval..getting some progress again.....they emailed with a 221G....needs another tax return and new photos.....

That was a bad moment people....sorry I said that...I had convinced myself it would be 6 more months...maybe it will...but what they are asking for is now very simple so I hope it will go quickly......Ill believe it when we have it.

I've been living out of luggage since 2nd January. Sold the house, etc etc and renting a room......I know how you feel about going nuts.

This is dragging on a lot longer than even I thought it would.

I have been on initial review for 10 months now is anyone else in the same situation. I feel like the only one : ( Have got our state senator involved so hope that helps. Anyone that is in the same situation that has any idea why it could be taking so long.

Just spoke to the senator's office. 2 weeks ago they told me my file would be pulled to be processed and to call them back if after 2 weeks I didn't hear anything. I called today exactly after 2 weeks and the case manager who was very polite told me that now that TSC has changed their processing time to December 17th, I was no longer considered as being outside processing time and thus there wasn't much they could do anymore. However she will still contact TSC to find out what they will do now about my application. I'm so depressed right now words can't even express the abuse I'm feeling ? she even said she knows about VJ and not to trust everything I read and cases are differents etc etc oh boy will this ever end?!!!!!!?

I think you have a very STRONG case for expedite. Just send USCIS as much as proof ad you can. CERTAINLY try to get the death certificate. So sorry for you and your fiancees loss. So sad that children are dying because of this in certain parts of the world.

Hey guys. Just got my NOA2!

I got no email, no text message. It just came in the mail (snail mail) today. Approved on July 8th, 2014.

I did nothing special. No calls to senators or congressman. I did put in a service request though, but when I got a reply, it said nothing relevant. I wish you all the best in your wait. I know it can be tough.

I know what all of you are feeling who have not gotten NOA2 yet. When my fiance and I filed our petition we got an RFE and were so disappointed. But trust me, it is worth the wait. Your time will come!
