  1. Ok so ive calles USCIS and NVC also emailed the embassy can't really get answers. So hope you guys can help. Our case has been approved by USCIS and NVC its at embassy and waiting for us to schedule interview. I wanna sponor my fiance myself. I'm in process of getting second employment which will bring my income to requirement for i134 and i864. Will it be a problem that my last years w2 i only had employment for 4 months?? I was recently divorced and had been a stay at home mom. Started employment at end of August 2013. I can prove with bank statements and employer letter for both jobs. I do have 2013 w2 but like i said only four months of work. Any tips im really trying to sponor on my own as i have no one else. Thanks a bunch :)

. Hi fellow Turkey member. Are you in Texas or Cali?
  2. Dont worry about that my dear..mine was worse..we fought badly..talking about divorce and all that..alot of harse and mean words to each other and the CO smiles is said..wow...its been hard for you guys to be separated for this long..Im ok with your relationship and got my visa...Just hand everything to them..they wont be able to read all that day..some interesting ones may sparkle their interest and thats what a marriage and every relationship entails..you soo good to go..omg mine was worse..u have no problem..Believe in God and be honest..You will be ok...

. Vauwww so he saw divorce... Thanks for your nice words. We have been together so long... I just want to be with him. Think Im overanalyzing, but even if it comes, we can prove that we are not married.
  3. You are thinking so much. Do you think they have the time to review every word you say to each others? All these Skype, whats app...whatsoever, goes to bin. CO might have quick look for page or two then bin them. Chat can be manipulated and you can fake them on PC. They look for solid evidences like Pictures and tickets and more reliable document. Not something you can easily fake or create on PC.

So chill and relax, everything is going to be ok, you will get your approval soon.

    Good luck :)

Thank you so much. Thats what I think too.

  4. A certificate of marriageability (or marriageability affidavit) is required for some countries. It basically states that in an official form that you are single and not married. Or if you were married, that you are now divorced. I remember submitting one for my K-1 application. I would check with an attorney about whether or not this is required for you. Below is what a quick Google search brought up for me:

An RFE can mean months to years, in some rare cases, of additional waiting time. I know you're not looking for this kind of response, only something to ease your mind, but you asked an objective question, and I'm trying to help you with an objective answer. Good luck to you.

This info that you submitted is for marrying in Turkey. My fianceee hasnt come to Turkey yet. Also, we did not get married in US either, which I am sure can be checked. We also stated that we are single in the forms, and we are. Still, thanks for helping.

  5. I think you should not have sent them all of your chat logs. It will probably delay your case. They would not take the risk of skipping over any incriminating lines in your chat logs. When dealing with government, always provide only what is asked for in the most concise way possible, nothing more, and nothing less. Did you submit any evidences like a certificate of marriageability?

. What is certificate of marriageability? Nowhere in our petition, we refer to each other husband wife. He also states in how we met section that we did not get married. We are together over 8 years. He states that we did not get married cause he lost his job and that is the truth. He also states that he filed for fiancee visa after I left US and after he got a job. I think we are ok. Overanalyzing

We had some stuff that I probably wouldnt have included if I had done a better job of reviewing the chat logs and it never came up. Just be prepared to address it. Also out of context the sentence you posted doesnt really seem like a big deal.

. Thank you. I needed to hear that
  6. Hi everybody, so i was going over the i 129 f petition that my fiancee sent. We are waiting for our NOA2. As i was going over our whatsapp conversations that my fiancee sent, i saw a sentence that my fiancee said as " I will work on the marriage." But by marriage, he is referring to fiancee petition. And nowhere in other conversations, we refer to each other as husband or wife. Still do you guys think this " I will work on the marriage" sentence will cause us to get scrutinized or even be rejected by CO thinking we are already married? . We certainly are not. I am going to the interview in Turkey. Am I thinking too much? Please help

  7. So mad and upset,we got RFE after 4,5months since we filled our petition, still don't know what they need! We were sure we prepared everything accurately,we didn't hire the layer for that, did everything by ourselves, and now so bad surprise from TSC(( Hopefully soon will get the letter with an explanation what did we miss on it,or what did they lose! Any way, how long it will take us to get our approval after we send them evidence!

    Thank you.

. Hi how did you get notified of the RFE?
  8. I dont believe expedite requests or senator inquiries have anything to do with how long it takes for petitions to be approved. Maybe I'm incorrect, but I don't believe that the same people who are reviewing and approving petitions are the same people processing inquiries and expedites. That doesn't make any logical sense.

people who decide on the expedites might be different but at the end, it goes to the same adjucators. So, an adjucator gives priority to an expedite than to somebody who is waiting. So, think about it
  9. I didn't say anything about getting our NOA2 in October, more likely July as others have stated. I was talking about the completed K1 visa, that's the end goal right? The NOA2 is just the beginning of this long process.

It takes as long as it takes!

oh ok i thought you meant just for noa2. For Turkey, I am expecting until November. I hope we all get our NOA2s around July
  10. I guarantee all these march april and may filers that are crying about the predicted wait time and messaging their senators has slowed down the process for the people who waited patiently..

I ripped into them on a couple threads about how A.) stop pretending that they are writing their senators to change the system when they really just want a fast approval for themselves. B.) that they are being a little inconsiderate because it causes the USCIS to bump their cases up above the people that have waited and C.) that they are being ridiculously impatient waiting 2 or 3 weeks then writing a senator about their case

You are so right. Expedites and senator inquiries 5 month is hurting people like us who wait patiently. So not right.

No ones petition is lost. They have all your petitions guys and I can honestly say that they will be approving them soon. I remember waiting at that last part before we got approved and I was going crazy. When we finally got the notice of approval email and text I didn't believe it at first. Just hang in there and if you have any questions please feel free to PM me!

    sending you guys good vibes)))
