the IV is not ready yet for me either my hubby is stressing over paper work and I don't like it either,I have been upset knowing that after all this my hubby will get AP for a while. people talk about AP from Pakistan and mixed race and age, me and hubby are both about middle age we did not meet on a chat line was from family and we have been together from 2009 .. I get mad when I see we are a mixed race hubby is as white as me minus the tan from sun. when I see people getting mad about the time it's been a long one for us ISL did not let us use a sponsor in K1 what a headache that was.

So this is round 2 for us and over 2 years of waiting and when I think of AP I want to cry. I am glad my gov takes the time to check for nutters but my hubby comes from a good family. maybe I am thinking to far ahead but I am just so sick of all this.. as we all are.. you would think my case would go though faster cause we are in the system already not so grrrrrrrrrrr yes I need to vent, wishing the best for everyone

right now my daughter gets aid for college but we have to have a sponsor for my husband if all this goes by income and my daughter is still with me I don't think we will get help.. the reading on one hand is saying you can't get help for nothing they want your income to be so you ask for nothing. this whole thing is stressful and many things are not as clear as it should be. when we need to ask them for help by calling they should give us answer and not the run around

Can someone please help or advice me, I asked this question before but it was left unanswered.

I just called NVC and asked them if applying for financial aid for college would affect my husband's visa process the lady on the phone said "Oh I don't know." I know NVC reviews the affidavit of support I-864 and so does the consulate overseas. Who should I call now, either NVC again and talk to someone else or consulate overseas. I asked this same question on this lawyer website they all said it was ok if I met the requirements of the I-864, which our income is a little above the poverty line. I asked fafsa (financial aid) they also said they don't know, its not a problem with them. I need a approval from the visa agency. I already sent the aos package and it didn't mention any financial aid for college. Would they (NVC or US consulate overseas) happen to know if I applied? Like look up some US government database. I really need to make sure about everything because I'm tired of waiting for this loooong process.

From the reading I have been doing and from my life its ok to get now but when your hubby/wife is here you can not ask nothing from the government,

I just got my NVC Case number, IIN and Beneficiary ID no.today, though the lady on the phone said the case was scanned in their system on May 21. Today is May 27th.

I checked online and I am still not invoiced for the AOS fees. Does anyone know how long this would take?

mine was enter in April 23 and I got my case number in email today and fees show today to pay and even tho I had case number and IIN number it was not payable until today

got email today with case number and letter to pay AOS fee this took almost 2 months to get really backed logged what a nice gift for my Anniversary today

I called at 1140 EST thinking there's no way I'll get through before they drop all calls, but at 1208 (gosh I forget who she was now ), the rep answered!! And they 'FOUND' my police certificate upon review by the supervisor, probably that 'piece of mail still listed in the mailroom' - which I assume fell off the package when they opened it to scan the barcoded sheet...

I asked her if they could possibly still be doing June interviews and she wasn't sure, but that's better than a definite 'NO'

Anyways, I'm so happy!! My heart is pounding, and I wish this feeling very soon for each of you!!!

So, I called back, they want me to send in my Nikah Nama Papers too. My muslim marriage contract papers, not just my marriage certificate. Gosh, make things more complicated won't you. My husband told me to send them before...I should have listened..hes gonna be like..told you so..haha

I did the same thing I got RFE before NVC stage. they want that paper as proof of what idk.. lol you would think the marriage was good enough

Cause they're annoyed at all the people that call them. Before VJ, people waited patiently at home for the NVC to contact them instead of filling up the call lines all the time.

When I read how many times ppl have called I do wonder if it does slow a case down and I dont think they like a place to help us. We all have waited so long and I dont blame ppl for calling we all want to move on with are life and not be stuck in limbo. when I think of how much longer it will take I just want to cry. But I know I am not the only one they need to see this as a place we not only get help from but we all need to vent. praying we all move forward at a good speed.

on April 2 they told me they shipped it then I got a letter saying they shipped it on the 10th of April. I wonder if now they're trying to slow down the case flow to the NVC and I just called she said to wait 30 days and when I called before and spoke with a lady I said I do reading from VJ she then said do not read from there lol..

I still don't under this I read this stuff over and over, people can only reach this site VJ and ask what to do. meanwhile you have the the whole world of info at your finger tips. Ones safety is more important than a card a piece of paper. look up women's shelters call the police. here is the US we help people that are abused and IF you say he has done these things the law will get to him.

The RFE was for a another Divorce paper I did send in one however in pakistan there is more than 1 document and the Nikah Nama paper I did send that in and I had to send it in again, its all about proof and I can understand that and we have it,

I believe there are about 10 fliers that haven't been approved by Nebraska and I believe is due to RFE
