So...I emailed the consulate and they said they have no earlier interview date they can give me Should I try emailing them again in a week? Maybe soething will open up...just maybe 1% chance...lol

Husband's visa.....APPROVED!
SO happy

Esposo and I made it to USA!! POE through Miami. No problems, but it took 2.5 hours total. I'll write more detail when we get settled.

So.. I had my interview yesterday and was approved!!! Finally done and it feels amazing! Want to thank everyone for all the help along the way! Yous are awesome!!!!!!

Best of luck to all those waiting! I will write up a review on my experience as soon as I have some time.

UPDATE:
My husband had his interview today and his visa was APPROVED. It was at 9:15 and he got out 11:30 because he said there were a lot of people. We are completely happy and will wait for his visa here (which they say will take 1-6 days). Thank you Saylin and everyone who helped along the way!!

I almost feel like listing "reading through Visa Journey posts" as my full time job for the I-864. It's so difficult to keep up with this thread and to go through all of the posts, just to find a few that are really worthwhile. Yes, I know that some posts mean more to some people than they do to others, but it just seems there are so many side conversations going on and people posting that they are going to call the NVC, that they are on hold, and the results (if any) after they called, that's it makes it so hard to stay current. In the time that it took me to write this post, I already have 7 more notifications! Sorry if I'm being cynical. :/

I sent in only 2013 tax transcripts but filled in numbers on the I-864 for 2012 and 2011, not sure if anyone put N/A or 0 and it was no problem.

Aaaaannnnnddddd............. They moved it from June 16th to June 5th!!!!! I'm so incredibly excited! I know it's only 11 days but it makes it so much easier for us as far as traveling and work and stuff! Yay!!! Whooooo hoooooooo!

Silly Chrome, won't let me fully delete the box above ... I usually use IE, but with the new threat out there I'm following recommendations to avoid it. Wonder if there will be any issues for Immigration payments or processing.

I love Wikipedia's definition of patience for it describes our visa journey so well:
"Patience (or forbearing) is the state of endurance under difficult circumstances, which can mean persevering in the face of delay or provocation without acting on annoyance/anger in a negative way; or exhibiting forbearance when under strain, especially when faced with longer-term difficulties. Patience is the level of endurance one can take before negativity. It is also used to refer to the character trait of being steadfast."
I am so happy that many of us display patience to others on this forum; while others need a little more help in this department. This process can make us a bit crazy. So here is a little reminder so that we can get back on track. For those of you who chose to stick around and help others, having people month after month asking the same questions over and over again can make anyone lose it. Let's remember that we are in this together and for most of us, the only support that we have comes from VJ. So please let's be mindful of this when we are responding to one another. Patient is a virtue; yet it is attainable.
