Hello
I had my interview in Lagos Nigeria on the 21/06/2018 and CO was Refuse to issue the visa the CO was asking me are you married before I said yes and CO said can see your Divorce I said
Under traditional laws is married to me but is Not LEGALLY married to me and CO ask me have you Divorce I said yes CO said can see your Divorce and I said I didn’t have it with me because is traditional married.my lawyer told me that I should tell the CO that in USA is not legally married to me is only Nigeria can it like is married to me. I told CO that and we are not together know more my family and her family know about that we are not together. and we went to court for Divorce and I didn’t go back to court to pick it up.because my lawyer told me that in USA is not a legally married to me so I didn’t go back to pick the Divorce up since that time. so during the interview the CO said I’m still married to her so she said she need the Divorce from me to show I’m not married to her know more. and CO said she going to send my application back to NVC to revoked my application.that what the CO said and I don’t know what to do now and my US citizen wife she know everything about it . Thanks -
Hello!!
I am desperate and know you probably receive a ton of messages, but would appreciate your help!
My husband and I received a NOA2 on 3/19 stating that he is in the US and will be applying for adjustment of status; however, my husband is abroad and he is not applying for adjustment of status. I filed everything correctly and stated that we needed consular processing and that we would not be applying for adjustment of status (I saved a copy of our petition, just reviewed it, and confirmed we filed it correctly).
I've called USCIS multiple times--last week they incorrectly filed a request to expedite our case (and it got denied) despite the fact I asked them to review it and forward to NVC as it should have been in the first place, plus mail us the correct NOA2. Supposedly today they finally submitted the correct request. USCIS confirmed our case was still at the TSC.
Do you have any experience on how long it takes for USCIS to review cases they messed up on their NOA2? I'm afraid they'll send it to NRC.
Please let me know if something on the above message does not make sense. I'm distraught and do not know what to do or who to talk to.

Hi, can I ask a simple and probably ridiculous question regarding the I-130?

@pushbrk,
Two days ago, I received an checklist email from NVC (last part is attached).
I notice you commented on someone's post and that case is pretty much similar to mine. Can you explain my questions:
1.I know my income is below the poverty line, so I already submitted proof of assets (about a 700,000 worth house) together with other files, but looks like they didn't check my proff of asset will leave it to CO. Does it mean I need find a co-sponsor just in case?
2. Does this letter means my case has been approved and completed at NVC? I didn't receive any notification and further instructions.
Thank you for your time!

Dear pushbrk,
I very much appreciate your thoughts and competence in this forum and I was wondering if I could ask you a question: As you suggested a while ago, my husband prepared the CR-1 petition in July and sent it in without my signature. He didn't include my passport pictures as I was outside the us. However, the wording could also suggests that my pictures are required but are not falling under the "should be taken within 30 days" requirement. Upon rereading this, we both believe we made a mistake?
However, it is what it is and we are now expecting a RFE. My husband is underway regularly for 4-6 weeks at a time, sometimes deploys for a few months. How can I maintain communication with UCSIS as I am the beneficiary but not the petitioner. Is it possible to copy me on the communication?
I just don't want us to miss deadlines and RFE's.
Kind regards,
R&OC
