Yes it looks like your visa was approved, you just need to send them what they are asking for. You need to redo the medical, and send other documents. They never ask for medical again until after the 2nd interview is approved. So once they see all documents and aos papers and your passport. Congrats. Hope you get everything soon. It only took us about 10 days once we sent everything back in.

Its possible that they can deny it but they can also ask you to submit the ds5535 so be prepared if they do. Hopefully you will get passed all of this soon. I know several people who had this long second interview and they were both approved but it took several months. Good luck

It took us s13 months to get our NOIR. It will be mailed not emailed. Keep an eye on your USCIS website for updates. When they finally send it they will tell you its in the mail. You can try calling in about 6 months but any earlier than that will be a waste of time unless you get updated quick. Good luck

send me a copy of what it says and I can help.

The NOIR is the Notice of intent to revoke. This is what she has been waiting for. When it is received it will tell her why the petition was denied and what she needs to prove to get the petition reaffirmed. Make sure to read each part of the letter carefully and address each and every issue. It is now her turn to prove to USCIS that it was a mistake for the embassy to send it back and now they are able to give there side of the story. We went through the same thing. Its a long process but it can be done. My husband is finally here with me but it took alot of time and effort. Good luck

Congrats. The embassy wont contact you, aramax should contact you as soon as they have it. Ours took 5 days after we saw issued for it to be received.

Since you have already filed and you should be hearing soon about your interview you really should stop worrying and get ready for your interview. Worse thing that can happen now is that you are denied and that you will need to get married in Morocco and file for cr1. If you had asked these questions before you filed it would have helped, but now if you pull out you will just lose your money anyway. The only other alternative is to put a hold on your interview and have your fiance make another longer trip. Age gaps and short trips are hard in Morocco, but fiance visas are being approved more now that they did several years ago when it just didn't happen. Good luck

For us, my husband had his first interview in Oct 2014. It was in AP for 5 months before it was sent back to USCIS for further review. It took 4 months to finally get to USCIS and then it was there 13 months before we were sent NOIR which gave us the reasons they sent it back. We had 30 days to send in our rebuttal. It was then reaffirmed (approved again) and took another 7 months for a new interview. If I remember correctly that one came after 1 yrs of waiting. The embassy was good enough to email me quickly and told me not to worry it was fine. I also called USCIS and NVC and talked to supervisors in both offices to make sure because I didn't trust anyone. All gave me the same answer LOL all was fine and not to worry. I am not sure what happened after your interview so can't say what you are waiting for. Feel free to send me a message with any questions if I can help. Good Luck.

Don't worry it is automatic once you pass the one year mark. We got one as well. As long as you have been in contact with USCIS and/or NVC they know what is going on. When we got this I panicked and emailed the embassy. They also sent me and email saying not to worry, they were just waiting on USCIS to send them papers. I got another one later also saying that all my file had been destroyed and we needed to refile. This was also an auto response. I almost had a stroke. I am not sure if you are waiting on and NOIR/NOID or not like we were but try not to worry. I finally got my hubby here and hopefully you will too. Good luck

You will need a police report from every country that you have lived. I am a USC and i also needed one from Morocco since I had visited there before. I don't think I needed my kids bc to get married, but I know I did need to send copies with my I 130 so I would take them along just in case. Also remember you will need to have everything translated into Arabic as well. If you go to the US Moroccan Embassy website there should be a list of everything you need to get married in Morocco. Good Luck

Congrats, won't be long now. I know the feeling my husbands took 4 yrs too. He will be flying to the US next week.

Thx for your help, it actually came today so finally time to book his flight. Jeanne thanks for the heads up about Qatar. I looked at there prices and they are great but hubby is a bit scared to fly there for some reason but did find great prices with Lufthansa, its $80 more but 11 hrs less flight time. We were happy it only took 1 week from the time they got my husbands paperwork till visa in hand. The only thing during this process that was quick. 4 years from start to finish for him to finally be here, really test a couples patience.

I am trying to find out how long it takes once CEAC says visa issued until it is ready for pick up at Amarax ? We saw issued on 5/31 just hoping it won't take much longer so I can book his flight before prices go up

I know the feeling Morocco is as well. Good luck.

Was your petition reaffirmed? When my husbands was reaffirmed they just wanted him to bring for documents of continued relationship, updated passport size pics, and valid passport. They sent him an email telling him what to bring. Good luck

Hopefully you will hear something soon. Our first part took 13 1/2 months to get the NOIR. Once you hit the year mark contact your senator to push them. Try not to worry, and hopefully you will hear good news. Morocco is really backed up so expect a wait once your NOIR is affirmed and sent back. My husband finally had his 2nd interview Friday and was approved. Good Luck

The letter that they sent was in the NOIR? If so once they receive it, it takes a while for them to reaffirm or ask for more evidence. Once it is reaffirmed ( hopefully so) it will go back to NVC, probably sit there a a couple months or so and then finally make it back to Morocco for another interview. Don't expect that to be fast either. Ours took 5 months just to get another interview. Our first interview was Oct 2014 our next interview is next week. Try to be patient, not much else to do but wait.
-
Hopefully they they will send your NOIR/NOID soon so you can get reaffirmed and get things moving again. Good luck

When you file is returned it first goes back to NVC and then goes back to the service center who approved it. Ours was approved by the Ca office. I was on the phone with them at least once a month to check status. As soon as it reached the 1 yr mark I contacted my Senators office. He helped. He wrote them twice and it was finally looked at 1 week later.
-
Ours took 14 months to review, and another 8 months after reaffirmed to get another interview. Good luck. A lot depends on what service center you had and how backup up they are as well.

My husband has finally got his second interview scheduled after a long process where his file was sent back to USCIS and finally reaffirmed. He was not told to get his medical retaken. I am assuming they will request this after the interview. Has anyone gone through this process before? What should he expect in the second interview? Thanks to anyone with insight in this. I have had a hard time finding people who went to the second interview. Thanks for your help

Yes its normal to have to show domicile. They need to know where you will live once you move to the USA. Many people move back in with family and have them send information on that with address. If you have a job lined up they will want to see that as well. If not I am assuming you have a cosponsor already. Good luck.

It took us 2 weeks, but we got married in 2013 so I am not sure if its still the same now.

Mine said expiring soon for a long time. Then it said it was expired and that all the paperwork involved with my case were destroyed and I could refile if I wanted, When it changed to that I went crazy, calling everyone including the Embassy. All the people told me the same thing, not to worry you case is still fine, which is was so don't stress. Our case was at USCIS for 13 1/2 months before I got the NOIR. The time starts from the date USCIS receives it, not the date it was sent back for the embassy. It should be on the USCIS website not the CEAC website. That is the only one that matters now. Once is finally gets reaffirmed and sent back to NVC you will see an update, mine is back to Administrative Process. Hope you hear something good soon

You can contact you congressman but just so you know outside normal wait time for this is actually 1 yr, but its a good idea to get them involved now anyway. Good luck
