As a recovering alcoholic, I agree that she probably needs a 3 month in-patient treatment plan (in my case, I needed a couple of treatments before I finally "got it"). It's not something that can easily be "willed" away. Only she can make the decision to get help, and I hope that will be the case. Good luck bro.

rangerseb got a reaction from thedude6752000 in Whats wrong with USCIS?
I agree 100%. I've started to look for IT jobs elsewhere, I'm fed up with everything here, not just the shitty USCIS. It's an awful state of affairs.

rangerseb got a reaction from Mrs_D in I-130 MARCH 2013 FILERS!! NBC
Yeah, when I think of a USCIS office, I now picture a bunch of people sitting around drinking coffee while a shipping clerk keeps bringing in hand truck's full of case file boxes. "Yeah, put them over there with the rest of them".
Awful awful government agency, the USCIS...
Alejandro Mayorkas is the Director of United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Nominated by President Obama in April 2009, he was unanimously confirmed by the United States Senate in August 2009. As Director of USCIS, Mayorkas leads the agency within the U.S. Department of Homeland Security charged with operating the largest immigration system in the world. He is responsible for enhancing USCIS efforts to safeguard our nation’s security, ensure the integrity of the immigration system, administer immigration benefits with consistency and transparency, and promote an awareness and understanding of citizenship.
