Just received notification via Case Tracker app that interview was scheduled today (Sept 30). So we'll know appt date/time when the interview notice arrives. Always waiting for something, right?

Hi, I’m on the same boat, Bio-reuse , no estimate time and I’m in MA. if you scroll down the processing time forum there is a topic specifically for Boston filers it also includes people from Lawrence office If that’s helpful People are sharing their experiences.  What I can tell you is that it’s a little mess right now in MA some people are getting done in few months and some other people it’s taking longer.

Update: today got a notification saying they are ready to schedule a biometrics appointment and shortly after that received a notice in the Documents tab that my biometrics will be re-used.
I filed in March and did not have an appointment scheduled before they closed down. I filed electronically and am in Massachusetts.
There is no estimated completion time showing in my account.

On sep 10th I went into my.uscis.gov account and sent a message directly using the "send us a message" option in the  "resources" menu. I asked about my case mentioning that the Tampa office was closed prior to the date of my original biometrics appointment, and wanted to know if it was going to be rescheduled.

They replied  on the 16th mentioning that new appointment was just issued and sent to me and that I could also get a digital copy from my documents section. The notice did not appear until 2 days later. I got the original copy via post 10 days later.

My new scheduled appointment will be next week on Sep 30th.

Hope this detailed information helps you

Today I had the naturalization interview. I was an easy and fast process, I was in and out of the AJC Federal Building in about 40 minutes. After the security checkpoint (they made people wait in the lobby until 15 minutes before the appointment), I checked in with USCIS. There were few couples and single people also waiting, and it looked like the office (in Cleveland, Ohio) was fully operational, I saw at least 3-4 interviews going on at the same time. After a 10 minutes wait, I was called in by the USCIS officer, who sworn me in and asked for my GC, state id and passport. Those were the only documents he asked, even though the letter asked to bring marriage certificate, spouse proof of citizenship and other stuff. After going through some questions about the N400 (current employer, job title, address & phone number, etc), he proceeded with the civic test followed by the reading and writing test. Afterwards, he asked few routine questions such as: have you ever been associated with nazi/communists/terrorists, problems with the law (asked me about a speeding ticket from 15 years ago), and such and such. At the end he returned my documents, told me he was going to recommend me for approval, and gave me a form with the recommendation. He said most likely I will receive an appointment for the oath ceremony within a month but with the COVID situation it's hard to predict. So, overall it was very straightforward. Anyways, I hope that helps and good luck to everyone.

You should call them if they still haven't sent you anything in the next two weeks.
I believe San Jose ASC reopened on 13th July.

I am with the San Jose office. I haven't heard anything either since my bio appointment was cancelled in March. I sent them an email a week ago but only just got a very generic response that I need to wait for my appointment to be rescheduled.  My ASC in Salinas reopened on 07/27 so I will probably wait till October to call when I hit the 90 day mark.

Thanks for your reply. Complicated family matters out of our control prevented us from filing until now.

john.smith got a reaction from NikLR in my i485 was denied, what should i do?
as her F1 status expired AND her i485 was denied she fell out of status counting FROM the date of F1 EXPIRATION.
that is why the immigration is telling her to leave the country.

    You are genius!
Now that the F2A hangs on Sep 2013 for a few months. Can you predict when it is going to move again? and how long is the average wait time for F2A?

From another forum i'm aware of few cases who filed I-130 & I-485 concurrently between Sept 8th and Sept 30, 2013.... and whose 485 changed to Testing & Interview status in the past 2 weeks.... I believe one of them even has an interview scheduled on Dec 10th 2013.
My impression is their case will be pre-adjudicated but they might be receiving a green card only in future when the visa numbers might be available with no more administrative processing necessary in future.

I don't think there is an easy way to get that info unless you file for FOIA. I did file FOIA in 2010 for my EB based I485 for a different reason and USCIS sent me a CD of about 170 pages including snap shots of different screens/departments who handled my case with in USCIS. Names of Immigrant officers who looked at my case and even the one who requested for Immigrant Visa from DOS. Do keep in mind that it takes 3-4 months for USCIS to send you the CD based on your FOIA request.
My I485 was preadjudicated after about 3 months of filing(filed in July 2007 fiasco) and was waiting for an immigrant visa number since my PD wasn't current.
You could also take an infopass and enquire but i doubt you will get anything more than "It is in process". One other way would be to check for any "Soft LUD" on your case in the USCIS website after creating a portfolio.
