Anybody have the phone number for USCIS to call asking about my case status and noa2? Im thinking of trying to call tomorrow. Thanks

Well my husband told me on the phone this weekend (when i told him it's been 7 months) that now we're 7 months closer to the NOA2 than when we filed. Lol. Not helping much but still. We should all be strong or it'll be really hard to make it. *hugs*

And the partial government shutdown has begun! :-(

Fox News is reporting that the Department of State is going to continue processing foreign applications for US visas and combined with the info someone posted directly from a USCIS employee, I think we will be okay. Maybe they will even work faster if they aren't being bothered by any other government agencies contacting them! :-)

Here's hoping for a nice, quiet, productive day at USCIS & NVC.

But boy does this shutdown make the US look bad.

Not happy at all due to this shutdown...!!!!! don't know who is responsible.... Obamacare or Republicans....

right now we are facing this shutdown and this 17th, don't know what is going to happen... government is going to reach its borrowing limit...... (possibly could lead to another shutdown)....

Hi, Steven.Plant is right i think. I know someone very close to me in relation and GC holder. Filed in April (2 weeks after me), Got NOA2 in Aug, and now case is in NVC... it sucks big time...

Well, definitely not at VSC, cause service centers stopped processing I-130s in August of last year. Perhaps it was a Philly local office.

Im feb filer at nbc .. but no luck yet.

I know an i130 filer (very close friend), filed in Jan, 2013. Received NOA2 in May, Interviewed on Sep 13th and already landed in US now. Don't know why it is so slow now.

My receipt NOA1 number started with MSCXXXXXXXX , does that mean my application is being processed at NBC?

You should get your NOA1 very soon, say within couple of days of filing i130. Its good that you have filled G1145 as well, u will get an email first and then hard copy for the same.

I received NOA1 in 4 days after filing for i130.

I have a brother-in-law (US green card holder), he applied for his wife on 12th April, and already got approval and got his NVC case number too. He is in process of filing AOS. It is really disappointing for me that my wife is a US citizen and we are still waiting. Called USCIS call centre 3 times but same answer - WAITTTTTTTTTTTTT.........

I got married 3rd Feb, 2013 and my wife submitted her I-130 (US citizen filing for spouse) on 2nd April, 2013. I received a text and email confirming the case has been accepted on 4th April, 2013. E-mail says that :

"Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS National Benefits Center for processing"

Its already 6th month going on and still USCIS website shows that my application is under 'initial review'. I am tired of checking status updates daily (as it remains same and pissing me off ).

1. Does anyone know what are the processing dates for NBC for i130?

2. When i am checking USCIS website, in the table for timeframe there is no listing of i130 at all. So i don't know why my case is at NBC. Also, the website was updated in June .
