Good to see all these files moving...hopefully it means NOA2s are right around the corner for them. So it looks like they are going in order....most of the transfers seem like first week of April.
Any updates on your case?

Hello all, we have a priority date of April 15, 2013, was transferrred on October 31, 2013, and received email notification that our I130 was approved on November 12, 2013. When I check the case status, it finally moved from "Initial Review" to "Post Decision Activity". I hope that everyone in April will get theirs approved soon
Many congratulations..... happy for you....
could you pls let us know if it was transferred to a field office?
As per VJ's data, i think April filers were not being transferred yet.

This is is unnecessary and rude! You have a right to your opinion, but we try to be supportive on this thread. We are all going through the same process and there is nothing stopping someone from trying for an expedite. If you have the right evidence to back up your case, then you might just get lucky and USCIS approves it.
This person was asking for opinions, you could have simply said "no you won't" or "this is a bunch of....." and moved on. No need to add the "I hope you don't get it". How would you like it if I now told you "i hope it takes your petition another year to get through!" Its just rude and childish. Sad.
Thanks very much for your support Jilly30. I admire all the info that you have shared with me till now through posts/msgs, it was really helpful. I completely understand that all the guys are super stressed here, so they just type in whateva comes to their mind; they are not at fault. I just turned a deaf ear to such posts. I was shocked to see such replies really, i didn't expected this at all, as it was just opinion of all you guys that i sought here, otherwise anyway i will get my answer from congressman in few days. I thought it may help others to file an expedite if i got approved.
However, if i am getting 10 supporters here with favourable replies, i won't mind getting 1 unsupportive answer also. That is all fine to me.
I just hope that all of us should get approve ASAP.

Hey Folks...Luk , goldensky99 and lovemytico........ just chill guys..... If you don't like my post, just don't answer to that. I am not asking you specifically to comment on the same. There are other sensible VJers also who can give an answer. I didn't asked you for your expert comments. Behave like mature guys...okayyyy... All of us here know that we all are frustrated and want just a way out to get out from this waiting process.
Go ahead guys, i am not stopping you from filing for an expedite for any blah blah... reason. Everybody is trying on their own and so i am. I filed for this just caz of a suggestion from a VJer only, otherwise there was no need to wait for 7 months, i wud have filed it longggg back.
Dear Luk, thank you so much for your kind wishes, but even then i will pray that your petition should got approved as soon as possible. Ur hopes doesn't matter for me dude. If your hopes wud have been so strong your case might have got approved by now. Just calm down buddy.
Dear goldensky99, even if you won't file for an expedite, your case will be processed normally only, i think there is no harm in trying. U never know wt will work out for you. Even sitting idle won't make any difference.
Dear lovemytiko, its been a while now that i am reading your posts. U r very right, this is public forum, everybody has the right to write anything, but we all are here just to share information/updates and not to depress anyone or to protest a specific person. U have your case and i don't have any problem whatever way you choose to make processing fast. everyone wants to be with their partners ASAP and it was just a step taken for that. I have asked just for OPINIONS NOT DECISIONS. Even i am stresses as you, i am taking my steps, you take your own.

Yeah, she works at more than one hospitals and we got the letter from all of them from her nursing managers.
-
Guys, I have asked for an expedite in my case. The reason that we mentioned is: As my wife is a nurse, so she has to deal with sick and injured people on daily basis. Waiting for such a long time has stressed her a lot and we want the case to be expedited under National Interest and an Emergency situation due to lives of Americans being affected and she cannot afford to have her attention taken by other stress. Lives will be affected due to unnecessary stress if the case is not expedited.
We got the letters from her employers as well stating the same thing and attached along with the application.
Do you guys think that it will be considered for an expedite?
-
Yesterday only we have contacted our congressman and they asked us to fill a form and send it to their office so that they can look into our petition.
Actually we are going to file for an expedite request under humantarian situation, we have submitted them duly filled letter (that was sent by them), a copy of NOA1 receipt and letters from employer.
Those guys have accepted the same and asked us to wait till next weekend to listen something from them.
Fingers crossed!!! Just praying so that it gets approved.
-
one was the the case of 'expidite'.... what about others two??
Guys any idea what could be the possible reasons for 'expidite'?
-
Hey guys,
I just wanted to direct you guys to a petition site (change.org)
Someone has created a petition so please take some time to sign it!
Signed.... hope it gets considered...

What they are saying basically is that filing the k3 would be useless at this point since they would reach the nvc at the same time and hence the i129f would be cancelled! Good for those who filed it long time ago though..
However, I really think the 11 months processing time is the max timeframe they are given to us... Not meaning that we would all wait 11 months.. I really believe we would see more approvals of April filers by the end of this month and the coming month inchallah
that's how I see the whole situation myself
..... fully agree
-
NBC New time frame
Means a total of around 15 months...........
Sucks big time............

One July filer approved on !5-10-2013. from NBC.
How can they do this... are they not processing the cases sequentially....?
Called USCIS today and had a chat with tier 2. Response was "we have a huge number of cases with us to process and it can take upto 17 months".....
Will call them again tomorrow, hope someone nice will attend me this time.....

I think its rude to shun people that have moved onto the next phase. As long as it is only one or two posts and doesn't take the entire board off topic, then what is the harm? I have found the people on this topic much more polite and willing to answer questions...we've bonded over shared frustrations and are willing to offer guidance and support and to share information with each other. I've tried posting questions in other topics, but I always end up coming back to this one with my tail between my legs because I either get ignored or receive terse replies.
Its not as if those people are saying "HA HA HA! I'm on the NVC STEP and you AREN'T!"....They're just asking for information...lets be happy for them, guide them as usual and continue to make them feel welcome. Who knows, maybe later on, when we are in that step and have questions, those people ahead of us will be able to provide answers....not so much if we are rude to them now.

Hi Jilly30, just need some information from you... as you are also in India, how are you going to deal with NVC process. Are you going back for documents/fee submission. Should you have a job currently in the US (and right now you are on leave) to file AOS?
-
When you get the email for who you want to appoint as your agent, it can be yourself as well as who you wants! Just as long as there have a email account and a good internet connection. All information is send to your email address. I'm my husband agent so I forward everything to him as well. As for when you send in you AOS paperwork, just make sure you have a copy of your last year tax form or transcript which you can send for free of charge from the IRS. And if you did tax any taxes while oversea, a letter from your employer will do as long as it shows that you were or are employed during the last tax year. You may need to have someone else say that there will provide support for you when you move back to the state, if your wife will be unemployed. I hope this helps.
Thanks for the response. So, do you recommend that my wife should not resign from her job until she submits AOS (as we don't have anyone else to provide support once we are back)?
We really want to be together now (NOA2 is taking forever). Do we have any other way out? Can't we face any difficulties in NVC process if she will be with me (outside US) during that time?
-
Guys..... i knw i am goin to ask somthing off topic.... but really need ur suggestions regarding AOS.
My wife is going to visit me very soon... and we are planning to go back together to US (fingers crossed)..... In the mean time, if we got NOA2 and then we need to submit AOS. Then few queries below:
1. Can someone another submit all the documents for NVC process on her behalf.
2. Do she need to submit her job letter to NVC for AOS (as she is going to resign from her job before coming here) or its only income tax return that she can submit.
-
I'm sorry if it seems insensitive for some of us to talk about NVC stuff in this thread. I can't speak for anyone else, but it surely wasn't my intent to be insensitive. I have come to think of many of the people in this thread as friends that have been a huge support to me going through this crazy journey. I hate to leave and not post in this thread, when I have gotten so close to many of you, just because I have moved forward to the next step. I'm may be on he next step but I am still going through the same journey as the rest of you. But, I do understand how you must feel, and will move on the to October NVC thread. I hope to see many of you there soon! Take care and God bless....see you in the next phase!!!
Hey friend (deltagal).... pls keep on posting healthy replies............ it boosts our morale..........................

Got an email update from USCIS today. I-130 APPROVED!
Now thats something i really wanted to hear from someone from last couple of days ( last few discussions are really confusing me about filing K3 and 129F).
Really happy for you from heart............... many congratulations....
Just wanted to know R u an April filer? and was your petition was at NBC?
-
SO if they mean 6-9 months from today... That means the 16 month estimate... There is nothing good about that.
no way.............. cumon don say this.....
-
Here I was getting all excited that people are being told they might hear something by the end of October and thinking that might mean good news for me too....when our landlord calls and says he wants to sell the flat my husband and I are living in in India!
We haven't put this address on any of the I-130 paperwork as I am on a short-term visa and my mail is still coming to where I am staying in the US with my parents, but we were planning to put this address on the paperwork for the NVC packages to show we are indeed living together. Now I'm afraid moving again is going to hurt us! And, if we can't find anything, it looks like I'll have to go back to the US. Really didn't want to have to go back to the US without my husband. :-( Really disliking India AND the US right now.
Could use a little good news. :-(
No need to worry... finding a flat is no big deal in Mumbai, India. Me too staying in Delhi and my wife is going to visit me in December. Thus, we are going to rent out a flat here and its the same, we want to go back together. I hope everything will get settled by Fabruary.
