    Wanted to thank B&G, INDIM, cdss, ShahenazFahad, sadia_sharmin, lamlastisland, stacey&misho, GodisMyGuide for your best wishes. All of you are now part of our family.

    So, ur wife must have resigned by now.... one month notice period and then finally u guys goin to be together.... :)

    For me : OFC - Done, Medical - Done (reports collected), Interview - 5 days to go............... excited but tensed.... have already resigned... couldn't wait as i can't serve 2 mnths notice after got pp back....

    Just one issue: Read your post - 2013 taxes must have been filed with status as 'NOT SINGLE' . I need to check this, if not then i will be worried.... :(

    The phone just rang. She gave the news I was waiting to hear. Visa approved. The interview itself was only about 2 minutes:

    a. Who is calling you?

    b. Love or arranaged marriage?

    c. What does your husband do?

    That's pretty much it.

    The total time inside the consulate was less than 2 hours.

    A huge thank you to everyone here at VJ. You have been like my very supportive family for almost the past year.

    In particular I will be remiss if I do not mention Saylin, Kaylara, DWheels. You guys are awesome in everyway.

    As I am writing this, my wife is inside the US Consulate - Mumbai. Of course no cell phone with her. Went over all the required and optional documents for the interview with her two days ago. Check, check and check. Reviewed the answers to the possible questions (the consulate reviews are awesome help).

    Looking at my cellphone for it to beep any minute now. Why does it seem like that time is not moving forward at all.

    Please pray for us...

    Any updates?? :)

    Do they have provision to submit belongings of visitors and then return later after interview?

    Thanks, Its on 12th. I had a question for you, i posted earlier also but i think u missed it.

    Anyway, m seeing many of the folks are getting biometrics before medical (applies to your case also). But when i contacted USTravelDoc guys they say that u need to bring medical report for biometrics. Hws that possible???

    Also, if you check US Travel Docs website, they do ask for ample documentation.

    Just called NVC, the representative said that interview still has not been scheduled :(

    Then i asked if Embassy guys are still scheduling for June, then he said that its not embassy but NVC guys who schedule interviews.

    The answer to question that when can i expect a interview date was "They are not sure about it" :(

    And at last good thing he said "We are still scheduling for June" :) pls give me a June interview............

    Folks,

    Please update me what are the documents that one need to carry to the interview. I understand its all the packet IV documents but then many ppl say that we need to carry copy of i130, then tax papers, AOS etc.

    Why do we need to carry all this stuff, when NVC will already ship the same to embassy?

    Also there is no change in tax transcripts for my joint sponsor as well as my spouse, so do i need to ask my spouse to send me the originals to take it to the interview?

    Also, what all do we need to carry for OFC (other than P4, passport)?

    Just a little question plz, what is the Biometrics that some people get after medical examination in the preparing for the interview stage?

    It is actually embassy specific stuff, am not sure if embassy for Egypt has something like this.

    Just visit USCIS website and fill three letters of the consulate to get a pdf document containing all the information after an interview date has been assigned.

    It is not like I have any special inside info here. When I called yesterday they said, my file has been shipped and they are still scheduling for Mumbai so Mumbai Interview list is not published yet.

    But today another VJ member posted that someone from NVC said they are done with June. So really we do not know.

    When I looked at the spreadsheet, in March they scheduled for April all the way up to March 16. And in April they scheduled for May all the way up to April 12. Looking at that, I would say they are going to schedule a few more interviews for May up until next week. At least let us hope so.

    I had a look yesterday on the spreadsheet, but no one from India (but just one), mentioned their specific consulate. So i really can't figure out if it was Mumbai or Delhi who were scheduling till 3rd week of the month.

    Guys we were case complete as of April 29th.

    Are we pushed to a July interview ?

    Is the NVC not going to schedule any mid-month on May 15th --- for June ?

    Please advise.

    I am sorry but recently , a VJ member has posted on other thread 'June 2014 interview' that Mumbai consulate is done with July interviews. It was told to that guy by NVC agent. Please shift to that thread. You can catch many a members there who are waiting for an interview date.

    And another member has mentioned that Delhi is still scheduling. I don't know how to check this.

    How to get PCC in ahmedabad?

    What documents they required for it?

    pls help me. I need PCC to submit IV docs

    If your spouse name is not written on ur passport, then make it fast you may need to reissue it.

    Otherwise getting a PCC is no big thing, you will get in one day, just your passport and 1 or 2 photo id proofs are enough. Obviously, you need to get PSK appointment prior to that.
