    I sent them a request but they were closed during the shutdown. I received an email two days ago from them telling me my case was shipped to the NVC from CSC and it was currently under AP there. I already knew all of this though.
    It never hurts to try.

    NVC lines are always busy. You just have to keep trying or call when they open at 7:00 EST. All you do at DOS is push 1 then 0. You just needed to wait a bit to hear the prompts. You should be able to talk to a human there easier. If you filed through CSC though, you probably won't have a case number yet.
    Columbus Day was yesterday in the US. October 14th.

    Thank you! This really helps as your file was at CSC and you signed up for the alert notifications. We are not impatient and were very excited our NOA2 was approved so quickly. There always has to be a lag in one of the processes.
