I would keep it simple. The itineraries don't actually show that you were on the plane, just proof that you bought a ticket (you could have cancelled). The boarding pass, however, does show that you were on the plane. I would focus on that.

Good to collect everything, but even better to wait to see what the RFE says.

The boarding passes aren't necessary as the itineraries are sufficient (that's what we sent). Credit card/bank statements showing purchases made in the area would be helpful as well.
Include photos with place, date and names of both of you written on the back of each photo.
Like TBone said, the RFE will tell you the specifics.

Did you just not send any of that the first time?
That list of things you've included with the cover letter looks sufficient. Do you have any photographs of those visits together (not necessary, just wondered if you had any)?
The most important aspect of the I-129f (other than showing you are free and able to marry) is proving that you've met one another within the last 2 years from petition date.

Its about to be 2 months since my RFE was "sent" . Randomly online my status changed to "initial review and address changed" which , I never moved. I called them and they said it was an automated system to ignore it. A couple days after I received a letter "receipt notice" but I received thag back in January when I filed. I'm beyond confused. I made a info pass appt and I pray I receive information here. I also emailes my senator and tomorrow morning ill be calling my congressman.
I really so nees him here due to my physical disabilities , caring for my daughter is becoming very hard. And I can't really work. Its all so frustrating

Wow, that really stinks. Waiting for that darn NOA2 is the pits, and then to have mistakes piled on! As if we aren't anxious enough about our OWN mistakes!

i feel for you and we actually have something similar of a problem. after 1 year of waiting,(NOA1 7/26/2012) we got an RFE on 7/25/2013 and sent what they needed back right away. Most people say it should just take 10 days to 3 wks for them to process it but its been almost 1 month and still nothing! When my fiance called up uscis, they cant even confirm that they received the docs we sent. It's ok to wait if that is what it takes but atleast let us know if they do have it otherwise, we might get another shocking surprise if after another month, they'd say they never got our docs

Just want to share with you my niece's experience just very recently with "rfe". She had the same thing happened, she called for a month regarding the RFE letter that was supposed to be mailed to her but never came. She went and travelled 130 miles for an infopass appointment but nothing came out of it. She was told that it was mailed again for the 3rd time but it did not arrive. Very frustrated coz' she was told that until she respond to the RFE letter everything will be put on hold. After 2 mos of waiting, she and her husband moved and had to do a change of address. Guess what? as soon as the address was changed in the system, the "RFE" status disappeared and went back to "Initial Review". No one at USCIS can explain the sudden changed but was told it could be just a "glitch" in the system.

I deeply share your frustration as it's been a new normal at uscis not to MAIL RFE to applicants so they can promptly respond to that. Its really shameful and disgraceful on the part of some the reckless employees whose doing so for a simple purpose..delay and/or deny you benefit sought. I personnally went through the same ordeal year ago and had to refile a new package with new fees $1070 because the mail never left the office. I salute your tenacity and relentless attempt to call them out. Bravo!

Hiring a lawyer wud be waste of money!! since you already called USCIS nd they did a service request for you nd service request takes 30days to be finished.. my adivce wud be to go on infopass they can print out that RFE notice for you, it took me 2.5months jst to get my biometric appoint letter cuz at the first time post office sent back tht notice to USCIS, i made 2 service requests, eachtime i called them i talked to tie2 twice nd they were like you will have to wait 30 days to be finished in order to make a new service request.. so its better jst wait for monday to come nd go to on infopass nd have them to print out that RFE notice for you, at Infopass they have Server Connected with other Servers at USCIS wherever they are nd they can access data, edit, move or print it out if ppl like us are suffering for any notice to come. Good luck!! btw i jst got the same biometric apointment letter today the1 i already got from infopass they printed out for me :S:S:S:S:S

Don't get a lawyer, get a comgressman involved.
We've been through something similar, our RFE never arived, 15 days later, my fiancé called USCIS and put a service request on it, they said it'd take 30 days just to process the darn service request. Got an infopass and nothing, just another service request. 20 days after the rfe being sent we got a sentor's help. The person responsible for immigration issues gave them a call, talked to some people and all. A week after that, my fiancé got a call from TSC saying that they would disconsider the RFE and approve us anyway. We got our noa 2 that same day, 11 days later our case was shipped to the DOS.
Now, for them to CALL, the senator's person must have done something!

No. But your reply will be processed faster. They don't have the authority. time and means to do this immediately. DO MAKE THAT APPOINTMENT and clear-up the matter what-ever it is. It's paperwork. They will note you were there and record the statement/paperwork of the RFE. It's worth going.

I wud suggest you to take an infopass asap cuz it helps alot they can print out ur document from their system as they jst did for me, it took me 2.5months but never got the notice they sent it to me whe n i went to infopass they printed out that noltice for me well i jst chkd ur timeline u shud give themcouple of days more in order to make an infopass apointment.. good luck

For all it's worth. I'm going to Agree with your Immigration friend. There are deadlines and time periods to respond to an RFE. A Info-Pass appointment is timeconsuming but, you are given an opportunity to speak and look at your Case. I have been to several of these. It is highly posible to give an answer to the RFE there.

Got an RFE on checklist at NVC..NVC has mail from 31 july and its STILL not opened..Im like..#######...Months pass..Priority date was 6 aug..I cannot believe this....over a year we have been waiting

they will let you know that they recieved the RFE and then tell you to contact them if after 60 days you dont hear anything from them,they say that but most people get feedback before the 60 days,so if you submit everything right that they requested you gonna get approval as soon as they can,maybe in a Week,

I think it means that your case has been 'touched' and you can expect an update very soon.
It can either be an approval (in most cases) or a RFE (request for evidence).
Either way I think it's a good sign that your case is moving along.

I hope you hear something!! From the looks of your timeline, it is very similar to mine. If I were you, I'd prepare for an approval!!
My fiancé booked his medical today. We waited for the DoS case status to say 'in transit'. Currently, there is a 15 day wait, which is actually pretty good, I think!!

This happens a lot. During my own case my husband learned from USCIS some of the procedure that may have also affected your case.
The last action by USCIS is the assignment of a bar code to the case. It is then placed with others to be forwarded to NVC. Once that is done they don't show that they have the case any longer.
At the same time until its scanned into the NVC system they wouldnt show they had it either. So it seems lost or in limbo.
Yours may have already gone thru the system and be either on its way to NVC or waiting to be forwarded. In my own case we never did get the NOA 2 copy.

I don't want to give you any false hope, but my case said that for two days straight, and I was approved on the third day. I'm not sure what it means, if anything. It probably is just a coincidence that my NOA2 came, but who knows!!
