mimistar44 got a reaction from domo22 in filied i-130 abroad and changing USC's address at U.S embacy at paris??
there is no more DCF in france. so our i-130 went to overland park.
late august I moved back to U.S
early last month, I changed my husband address by sending a letter to overland park as USCIS officer told how to change his address, now it is showing his address changed on uscis site.
i know it is not urgent to change mine but i thought they ganna transfer to C.A, then it would be faster approval.
    anyways..thank you for reply!

ya, USA domicile and assets should trump much on interview day (when the I-864 is evaluated)
so, you have some time, I'm a thinking...

A well paying, permanent job you had for a few months should be ok. Even if by NVC stage you only had it a couple of months, you will have it for 4+ months by interview stage, when the real decision will be made.
BTW, you do know that if a co-sponsor is needed, any greencard holder or US citizen can do it? Ie co-workers, neighbours, old friends etc.

    mimistar44 reacted to Nich-Nick in I-864 - didn't file most recent taxes
No, I am not convinced cover letters don't get discarded in the mailroom. I would write a formal statement and place it behind the I-864 where a 2012 tax return would be placed. I have read what the statement should contain in official USCIS memos but don't have a bookmark. So off my memory and totally made up by me....STATEMENT CONCERNING 2012 U.S TAX RETURN
In tax year 2012, I spent x months abroad in the United Kingdom and was unemployed while there. My total earnings for 2012 were $5432.10. That falls below the threshold of $9750 for an unmarried person to file a tax return. I was not married until xx-xx-2013 so was single for tax year 2012.
I can not submit a 2012 tax return because I did not file one, nor was I required to file by the Internal Revenue Service.
I certify, under penalty of perjury under the laws of the United States of America, that the foregoing is true and correct.

The threshold figure is correct for 2012. I just looked it up. You might also want to add info after his name like Petitioner/Sponsor for [name]
    Case number xxxxxxxxx
