Considering the rapidity which people who were lucky enough to get routed to CSC are getting approved, I thought I would make this thread for those of us who filed in April and were routed to TSC. As a place to discuss the waiting period, but mostly because seeing CSC people getting approved after two weeks is heart breaking.
So post away my fellow TSC filers!

Been there hahaha Chels laughed at me.
On the sporting front, I love football, Arsenal fan all of my life (FINALLY THE TROPHY DROUGHT IS OVER) but I also love watching American Football. I agree College games are fun, but if you have a passion for the tactical sides of the game, the NFL is immense.
In saying that, GO BULLDOGS! (MSU fans here, from the only conference that matters. S-E-C!)

People always ask if my fiancé has an accent and I always find that hilarious. I suppose when we first met I noticed it but now it is just his voice! I don't hear an Australian accent unless he is saying something that sounds totally different than i would pronounce it.
I know one thing that drives him crazy is if I say Koala bear. He gets irate. "It's not a bear it's just a Koala"blah blah blah- haha. He adds the word "hey" at the end of sentences. Sometimes it's somewhere that I would say "right" (i.e. I know, right? he would say I know, hey?) and that I have always found amusing. Also he will say things like something is funny as or hot as; that used to drive me crazy because I would wait for him to finish his sentence, but he was finished. Hot as WHAT?! Just as.

Just got back from seeing Chelsea last Wednesday and it was simultaneously amazing and depressing. Amazing because actually being with each other (in that same room, at the same time, talking face to face) is simply the best thing in the world.
Getting on my flight back to the UK, leaving the perfect weather and that gorgeous, funny, intelligent, perfect girl for rain and loneliness is the worst thing in the world. We tell ourselves in the grand scheme of life it isn't much time to be apart until we don't have to be anymore, but it is just so hard right now.
TSC PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY HURRY UP AND PROCESS OUR APPLICATION.

After just having spent two and a half weeks together we are apart again, and I'm feeling even more disheartened. My hope for all of us is that this process somehow speeds by and the TSC picks up pace. A girl can dream! (by the way, both I and my fiancé use this account, in case anyone finds any shifty gender change- hahaha). Now I'm going to try to stay busy and stop obsessively checking the case status- which I know hasn't changed- and worrying over if I accidentally did something wrong in the application. I hope I'm not the only one terrified I've forgotten something. Stay positive!

Yay! Nice to see someone else in Mississippi.
I am yet to move across, however I have been looking this kind of stuff up just so I know what i have to do when I get there. I have an Australian licence (I'm an Australian citizen). I looked up the DMV website for Mississippi and read that if you have a foreign licence you have to do the Learner's Permit test (the computer test), then take a driver's test in your own car that has you on the insurance. I thought it was ridiculous I would have to take a driving test after driving for 15 years which is literally half my life, but that's what it says.
If you get confirmation of this I would be very interested in that information!

I don't have any concerns about being around my fiancee (soon to be wife ) all the time. I'm from Australia, and I'm currently living in the UK. I don't have an issue with moving to a new country. The change in weather wasn't a big issue as I was expecting the weather in the UK to be significantly different to Australia (I am from Brisbane, where it is hot, humid and sunny 90% of the time).
Similarly, moving to Mississippi from the UK won't be a problem from a cultural or climate perspective for me. The coast of Mississippi has an extremely similar climate to Brisbane, and the cultural differences between Australia and the US are so small it isn't even worth mentioning.
But most importantly, the thought of always having Chelsea around and being able to do the mundane everyday things together (like go grocery shopping, cook dinner together, talk about our day while actually being in the same room) is what I am looking forward to the most. It is those things that I miss whenever I have to come back to the UK, or Chels has to fly home. That is what I want.
I also think it is important to be prepared mentally for the first few months when I am really not going to be able to do much, as I want be able to work and really have no need for more study. But I will volunteer and have hobbies so that I am occupied. Preparation and realistic expectations are key, and making sure you communicate with each other is the foundation of that.

We plan on getting married at the local courthouse and the n having an actual wedding ceremony and reception at a later date. Our reasoning being that we want to move the whole process along as quickly as possible.
That way, we will still have the wedding that C wants, however we won't have to worry about waiting to save up for it and timing my entry so it all fits in. Plus we are well over being apart.

That is what they call visa fraud. She is not able to adjust status while there on a K1 visa. They can get married and file for a CR-1 visa, however she would still need to leave the US prior to the expiration of the tourist visa.
Advising her that they can adjust her status while she is there, and claiming any lawyer would tell them to do that, is not only going against the legislation which clearly states it is not allowed, but also irresponsible on your behalf.

For the record, he did say he would go to the US on a tourist visa, get married, and then apply for a CR-1. He never mentioned looking to go AOS after marrying.
Therefore no fraud would be committed.
Like what has been said previously, check how long they have given you to collate the documents and send them back. If you have a decent amount of time and honestly think your fiance will have a job by then, then wait.
