    My fiancé and her 17 year old son are coming from Bolivia in January on tourist visas....if we marry while they are here...can the son stay ? I ask because I was told 18 yrs is the cut off age for child. She does not want to wait for the fiancé visa

    It is the fiance visa, or an even longer wait for the spousal visa. Either way she has to wait. 18 years is the cutoff age for the child to what? Visit? Not true!

    Hi everyone. I been thinking about writing my own statement to support the form I751 [based on divorce] to remove condition on my green card. Do you guys think the idea of writing a statement to tell the whole story from the day we met till the day we got divorced would be a good support and strong evidence ? Not necessary. USCIS does not care if your marriage worked out. They are not in the business of marriage counseling or listening to your side of the story. They are only interested in if the marriage was entered into in good faith.

    Also can anybody here tell me what they included in thier statement if they had sent one to uscis to remove condition on thier green card?

    N400 fee

    The N-400 page clearly states the fee, how you can pay, and includes where to file based on your state of residence. Part 13 requires your signature.

    1. $595 (Add $85 biometric fee for a total of $680, where applicable. See exceptions below.) You must make your check payable to Department of Homeland Security. Fees are accepted in the form of a money order, personal check, cashier's check, or credit card payment using Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transactions.

    Exceptions in which the applicant is not required to pay the entire $680:

    • Applicants 75 years of age or older are not charged a biometric fee, the total fee is $595.
    • No fee is required for military applicants filing under Section 328 and 329 of the INA

    The form specifically asks for name and location data about immediate relatives in the US and states that spouse is an immediate relative . It also specifically asks for data about your spouse including place of birth. If you answered either of these with bad data specifically to further the chances of your student visa getting approved you are subject to a bar. Furthermore a routine check of your name should have pulled up the I 130 filed for you so I assume you used a "second" passport with a different ID that is common in Nigeria. Both of these will get rightfully get you banned for life.

    Exactly, the DS-160 form explicitly asks for the names, country of birth, and addresses, etc. of any US relatives. He would and should be rightfully banned. Why is anyone trying to "assist" him with entering the US in any way?

    I too am surprised that this thread has not been closed. The OP is trying to find out how to enter the US on his fraudulently obtained F1 visa. He wants to avoid trouble at the POE. The moderators are asking him probing questions about how much he lied. He stated he was married but put someone else's name "...i put MARRIED on the form but it was not my wife name..." Note, he did not say he did not put her name but that the name he put was not that of his wife. He rightfully deserves a lifetime ban.
