That's not the case at all...They work in batches. When I was waiting for my interview, it was very few K1's being interviewed. It depends on when you apply, get approved and the details of your petition. Some cases are more difficult than others and take more time. I've been in this process for almost a year. It just takes patience you...you will soon have your interview and be with your loved ones. Also, keep emailing the embassy. I emailed them and gave them a timeframe of when I wanted my interview and they scheduled me for 2 weeks after my interview.

You'll get there Ozgirl! You'll call the DoS or NVC one day asking for a case update and number one day not expecting it and you'll be notified that it's arrived. It always happens when you least expect it.

Is it really a 8 week wait to get a NVC case number and invoice number?

They transferred lots of files for May to July. However, I'm still in VSC and don't know what is going to happen to my file. At first, the transfers meant faster NOA2 but I am not so sure with the number of transfers taking place.

It's good to know there are a few of us who have not been transferred. Hopefully this means they will touch our files sooner. Let's be positive I'm going to start filling my police certificate application form this weekend to send it off and get my police check so at least that part of preparing for the NOA2 is done.

thank you, its nice that eventhough you got approved already, you still set a good example for us to stay positive in the whole situation since i believe almost all of our estimated time of approval was moved.
i wanted to do the workout videos at home but i can't keep up on it so what i did was to sign up for a month membership in a gym in the hospital i was working to and head there after work diligently eventhough usually there's a high census around these time of year here in our country. let's just all do it for the wedding, it'll all pay off in the end.

Just take your time explaining it to them, you shouldn't have a problem. I'm going to start hip hop abs again to help get fit for the wedding

It's a cool app saves me some time and alerts me quickly when files get touched. We got a lot to thank god for cos lets face it we have not even reached our 3month mark and already they are looking at may files.

I've been getting an unusual amount of texts this morning from friends and i've been disappointed each time I see it isn't from USCIS! lol

Congrats to all the approved May filers. For those of us yet to be approved. Let's remain positive because is going to happy very soon. We all have prayed at this May filers group that May filers will be fast and people are already getting approval less than 3 months. Let's give thanks and praises to God almighty for He is Faithful. I wish everyone a smooth ride.

Lol I have been obsessively checking my phone today checking for mail from them. I think we are all antsy now.

Unfortunately there is no way to see if they were at VSC or CSC. And considering the majority of people who apply aren't on VJ, Igor's List may not be useful to see which service center the petition was at.
