TSC protection list: IN CASE OF EMERGENCY CONTACT-
GODZILLA - ARMY
Ailens ( no not that type) - NASA or Airforce
-
Oh, I just had a bad thought. What would we do if TSC burnt to the ground with our files in it? Yikes thats scarry. Can we hire a volunteer fire department to camp out in their parking lot. Or what if terrorist were to launch a biological attack on TSC. I'm going to call the Governer of Texas to see if he can station National Guard troops to protect our precious cargo!!!
Sorry, I was just board at work and asked myself what else could go wrong????
-
Send all pages of your passport. Any motel, cab, cafe, credit card statements with activity in their country. Copy of boarding passes. Make sure you send correct size of passport photos. Pictures of the two of you together- make sure they are time stamped or write on back of them the date and location. And the big one - make sure the letter of intent has statement that you plan on getting married within the 90 days of arrival as required by the K1 visa requirement.
-
Well maybe TSC will crank up today. Only 2 VJ approvals and 1 rfe approval from TSC yesterday. VSC is finally approving, which sucks with us stuck in Texas.
-
VSC dumped Dec, JAn, and Feb filers off to Texas Service Center. Now VSC is working on March so they look like they are in normal processing times. Those of us that were transferred to TSC got SCREWED!!!
-
there is no such thing as original photo, you can send a file and she can print it out as photo
If they print out photo and it is not correct size, it will be denied. This has been explained on many forms. They are very strict on passport photos.
-
Letter of intent, photo, and G325 , ALL MUST BE ORIGINALS!!!! NO COPIES!!! Uscis will deny. Can send copy of visa page. Look under header " FORMS" there you will find info on what is needed. Must be sure that passport photo is correct size. Letter of intent must state " I plan to marry _____________________ with in 90 days of arriving to the USA as per K1 visa requirement"

I would suggest thinking ahead. What immigration needs and what other oganizations need are 2 different things. College will not take a final transcript that was translated by you. If you plan to go to college, they will require a high school diploma or equivalent. They will want an notarized translation.
-
Thank you for your response.
I thought about translating vaccination records, but what's the use of DS-3025 then..It has all my vaccinations in English and is signed by authorized doctor. Do you think I will still need initial records translated?
If you attended college, a final transcript translated will help if any further education is completed. Drivers liscense if you have one. Any official document that might be needed in USA. Medical records probably wont be needed but a list of current medicines, any surgeries, allergies might come in handy.
-
I would get all important documents translated, ie birth certificate, Vaccination records, college or high School diploma if you plan to attend school here, divorce degrees etc. Documents need to be notarized and contain statement from translator written in english
" I am familiar with both the English language and _________ language. The attached translation is a true and complete translation to the best of my knowledge, ability and belief. Signed____________________________________________. Date______________________________"
Cheaper to get translated in your country

It was probably a troll just trying to get people riled up! best not to even answer them. At bottom of their post, you can hit the report button and the post will soon be deleted. Some people are just jerks.

Hi all,
My wife is going to have her interview July 29th, which I'll be present so I can provide some sort of support.
My question here is what sort of evidence package is needed? Is there a certain format or order that it must be packaged/folder/etc.
Thanks!
Go to your embassy web site. There you will out what is required, some even have check lists. have everything neat and together like paper clips or labled folders so you can find information easily.

I hope I hear something soon! What is igors list.. i keep seeing that in people's posts.. would you please be able to walk me through it? How to check.. how many petitions get approved? Is it on a daily basis?
Another way to find Igors list is to click on " immigration Timeline" header. look at upper right side of page. Click on Igors list. There you can filter which service center, approvals etc. I use all petitions, so I can see who around me was approved and get an idea of what date they are working on. TSC starts sending out approvals around 10PM eastern time zone.

Oh my god, thanks guys! Your information is so useful, now Im sure we can do it by ourselves and with the help of this forum
Can you please provide any keywords/more info for this qualification for case expedition? cause I couldnt find anything on the internet
Would appreciate that
You can find out more about expedite on USCIS web site. There are certain requirements. In military, you have to get a letter from company command that is on letterhead. Call uscis for better info. When you call the customer call center do this: NOTHING!!! It is automated system and if you pick any options - you get stuck with no chance to speak to real person. Just let system keep prompting you, eventually a real person will answer , they will speak in Spanish, but can speak in English also. I hope this helps. Expedite will get case approved in 15 days! Be sure to follow quidelines under forms. Everything has to be filled out correctly! There examples of how to write letter of intent etc>>>

Guys, why would texas still be in training after a month ? THEY ARE IN TRAINING SINCE YESTERDAY AGAIN.. AND TODAY!
THIS IS INSANE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I-129 petitions are not the only forms they are processing. If they are directed to also do other types of petitions, they must learn how to complete those. At least TSC is approving 8-12 petitions a day still. Look at igors list. VSC has not completed a I-129 in 2 days. The dates of the approvals are the ones that were transfered. Also do not forget to check TSC numbers on Igors list. Several people changed their processing centers when they were transfered. If they process 10 people fron VJ, that only represents about 5% of total applications. So 10 approvals is actually 200. I know it is difficult to wait, but there is nothing we can do but wait. I am in the same boat as I was transfered to TSC. We are getting approved faster at TSC than we were at VSC. Things are good. Look at CSC. They didn't approve any I-129f for almost 3 months, people were waiting up to 10 months for approval.

Well my case was touched today but im confused on why I got this update;
On June 26, 2013, your name was updated relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.
I dont know why my name would change or my Fiance' so im confused!
smells like a REF or approval

Other countries have no problem deporting illegal immigrants, why does the US? Other countries also make it much more difficult for people to enter in the first place. AOS isn't allowed in other countries for people who enter on visitor and non-immigrants visas. Why do we allow it? So many people say they never intended to marry before entering on their visitor visas, work visas ect, when they are engaged or dating a US citizen before they enter. I understand it may be true for some, but I just don;t believe it for most. I don't think AOS should be allowed for anyone, get in line with everyone else, go through the system and wait your turn. I know a lot of people aren't going to like what I just said, but I can guarantee I am not the only member here that thinks this way. Just so tired of hearing about people who are illegal and sucking our country dry, and people who use loopholes to their advantage in order to stay. Every time I turn around my taxes are going up, and myself and my family get nothing in return. I have not had medical insurance for 3 years, I fall into the group of people who doesn't qualify for medicaid because I am told I earn too much, yet I cannot afford to pay for private insurance. I have 3 autoimmune diseases, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Lupus and Sjogren's Syndrome, all of which require constant medical care and monitoring by my doctors, I cannot afford to see my doctors or pay for the medications to treat my conditions because I need to put food on the table. If I were illegal I wouldn't have a problem getting medicaid, or food stamps.
because of low income and no insurance, you may qualify for free drug from drug companies. Contact the companies. Enbrel, Remicade, Humira, etc have good patient assistance programs.

You can always call the lawyer and tell them to stop any further action, effectively firing them. No more charges. If you get a REF, it will be you anyway who will be sending info to USCIS. Lawyer no longer needed after petition is sent in, in my opinion.

It is common for pregnant Mexicans to come across the border in Texas and Arizona just to deliver their babies at our expense! Then the baby is US Citizen. Now mother goes back and we foot the bill. Some even go as far as appling for WIC to receive benefits for the child.
-
hopefully they start processing the new transfer petitions soon i dont want to wait any longer
Hey did your status change last night on USCIS web site. Mine went from " On June 21 your case was transfered to your local office" to " your case is now under initial review"
-
I read somewhere that the files are now sent by email from NVC to embassy. Not for sure though. You can try calling. Best of luck!
-
Be sure to follow K1 guidelines exactly. Send right size of photos, Letter of intent to marry has to have sentence " I intend to marry _______ with in 90 days of arriving in the USA as per K1 requirements" By the way military can sometimes qualify to expedite the case and get approval with in 1 month. Read " forms" section and do not be afraid to ask questions. You can do it yourself but be sure to dot the "I's" and cross the "T's"

I smell approval or REF
Is getting an Immigration Lawyer our best bet?

Look under header " example forms" and "Guides" there you will find a lot of info. You can do just as good of job yourself. But make sure you follow the check lists, etc. Everything has to be filled out correctly! When in dought, ask some one here. Post on a thead your question, you will probably get lots of answers.
