  1. Sounds like lawyer made mistake and has come up with excuse to cover his mistake. I was APPROVED last night. Ours was NOT notarized! One mistake I see often is that people leave out the sentence " I plan on marrying ____________ with in 90 days of arriving into the USA as per K1 visa requirements."

But, that being said, it is always best to go overboard and go beyond basic requirements for USCIS. So get notarized if you can.

  2. Here is some FYI for those waiting at NVC. I went ahead last week and sent my financials, W2, bank statements, Stock accounts, personal info to my Fiance..She lives in Ukraine. Today she got my packet. Guess what??? It had been opened by someone in customs or post office. Anyway now I am exposed to identity thieft. Looks like next week will be spent doing damage control. I suggest you scan these documents concerning financials and email to your significant other. I-134 has to be original signature, so mail it, but be safe with your other information.

  6. That sucks. sad.png Yeah, I will be avoiding the mail for that - the mail in the Philippines is horrible anyways. Thankfully I will be bringing it all to her in person when I fly out there in October and/or November, as I am planning on being there for the interview and we will schedule it for either of those two trips. Your idea of scanning is good too, but I wonder if they require originals, especially for the employer letter. Others may be able to chime in on that. It might be embassy specific too.

You could mail letter from employer, but email copies of W2, tax returns, check stubs, bank statements etc.

  7. Here is some FYI for those waiting at NVC and TSC. I also was a VSC to TSC transfer. No NOA2 yet, but close. 9. Did you still still get RFE? Is the birth certificate required?

I pre loaded my application. I sent all my info, plus for Fiance: birth certificate, divorce certificate, Name change certificate - all with translations, 2 passport photos, her daughter birth certificate along with photo. Sent my financial info-134. I feel like I sent everything but kitchen sink. My NOA1 is 1-25. I am with 2nd batch of transfers, still waiting.

  10. Oh!! Noooowww You see what I was saying earlier in the thread! LOL

It's like you can see WHICH Workers are working and which are dragging feet.. Check the dates of approvals... 2 (I guess easy ones) same date then one per day for the week then it starts again.. lol but some seem to approve one of their batch every week or so... sorted by NOA Date of course. RFE's seem to come the same way

Occasionally it seems there are certain stacks that start or finish with ONE from one NOA1 Date but the rest are all from another too... Yes I'm a Nerd... Yes I am letting my Geek Flag Fly.. lol

i dont think it is which person is working on what, i think it is more about which box of files they are working on

  11. I wonder if anyone who was transferred to Texas in the second batch (June 21st) ever got approved... I don't think so.

So far, they have not started on 2nd transfers. They start with a NOA1 date around Jan 23/24. There may be a few around that date that were left at VSC. Today I read where a guy was complaining about VSC. He was a Nov filer still at VSC and no action still on his case.

  12. I was approved on June 18 th ... Still waiting for Texas to send my case to the national visa center .... Please .. I care bout your guys .. Find. Way to reach your senators now after approval to try to get them to send it to the nvc

It is hard to complain to Senators about bottleneck at NVC when they are still working on finding information about our case at TSC.As soon as I get approved, then I will be glad to jump on the bandwagon about NVC. My NOA1 is Jan 25.
