Let's limit the conversation to Palestine. I tend to think plenty of Muslim-majority countries are respectable. Some examples: Morocco, Indonesia, Malaysia, Jordan, the UAE. There are others.

Jews can not. All they have is Israel. And Israel is really, really, tiny.

Lawless hell hole describes large parts of America. This is what is so different about this country compared to other 'developed' nations.
I like to think of the United States as a bunch of first world (developed) nations with third world (developing) nations in between. If America were a slice of banana nut bread, the first world nations would be the nuts and the third world lawless holes would be the bread.

There was not a single Israeli in Gaza after the disengagement in 2005. There were talks with Fatah about a sea port, airport, safe crossings, everything they needed and wanted.
