Nargisi Jan we have been in AP for almost 6 months

Alhamdulillah our AP is finally over after 7 months & 3 days and my fiance's visa has been Issued... The case status changed today to Issued after 2 days of us dropping off the Passport and New Medical to the Embassy. He will be able to go and pick it up on Sunday Jan. 5th, 2014 Inshaa'Allah.
I would like to thank everyone on VJ for there help.This forum was definitely a big help. If you are still waiting for your NOA1, NOA2, interview, approval or Visa, just hang in there I am sure it is on its way. With the thanks of ALLAH almighty.

Just be patient Elizabeth and pray to Allah... we will get our turn soon InshaAllah .. Just remember your not alone.. we are all in the same boat.

Don't worry about the package that NVC send to the embassy.. The embassy will hold on to that for the interview with all the information that you submitted. They will e-mail you the interview letter and all the forms that you need to bring with you for the interview.... So there is nothing to worry about and you don't have to contact the embassy ... That's what they do.. there is no mailing system in Afghanistan...

I also had to send the original signed form to my fiance, but I realized it before the interview and was able to send it to him through DHL .... My fiance also had his interview on the 29th of May? But we were placed on AP. Was wondering if your fiance was also place of AP or not.. because they told my fiance that all males were being placed on AP...

My fiance went and had his interview today and they told him that everything was fine, but now they have to do some Administrative Processing... So he was given a yellow paper and told that it would take a couple of months. GOD I can't stop crying because now we are in this black whole and won't know how long it will take!!! This whole process is so frustrating because you are at the mercy of the immigration and there time frame with everything is so unpredictable that who knows how long we will be in this AP process... I guess they put all males from that region on AP... I guess there is nothing we can do but just to pray for a speedy process....

you can download it from the link below and have your fiance fill it out and sign it... so you can take it to the interview... make sure that you have the original signature on the form...

why don't you go and meet him in Dubai, that's were i have gone to meet my fiance twice since we started this process... Its easy for him to get a visa to Dubai.
